we went to Rancho Roble for the first time last weekend and the place is beautiful with great aesthetics and amazing wine. had a great variety of whites and a great rose for the hot day with plenty of bold barberas for the red lovers. We got to talk to the owner and she was very friendly and eager to share her knowledge with us. we will definitely be back for more. while we were there we saw a couple of parties going on so if you need a location, this would be the place to do it. Absolutely stunning grounds and facility. Dog and family friendly. The owner let us walk the vineyards after asking permission and was quick to answer our questions. When it comes to vineyards with great tasting wine, a beautiful atmosphere and setting, this is by far is my favorite place I've been to in a while. I recommend highly. More...

We had the best brunch and wine for Mother’s Day!! My Mom and wife love it and it’s kids friendly!!
I cannot say enough great things about this place! I have to start with the owners/staff. They are the sweetest most accommodating people I have ever met. Every single time I come here, they go above and beyond to make our experience a great one. They are kind to everyone and genuinely want their guests to have a nice time. The wine is delicious, and the views are gorgeous. There's a ton of places to sit, or you can bring your own chairs. They usually have a food truck, but we've also brought cheese and crackers for a snack to go with the wine. I recommend this place to everyone and have brought different guests with me every time I come. More...
Seriously this is the best wine place i've been to in Lincoln. This place is SOOO FREAKING BEAUTIFUL! The property is just amazing! The wines are very good, and customer service is awesome even when they are packed. The wines are fabulous, i usually struggle to pick which one i want to drink today, because i love them all. I hesitated writing this review since i really dont want more people coming here, but i also want to make sure they stay open so I can keep coming. More...
Absolutely love this winery. Beautiful grounds, amazing wine & Kari treats everyone like they're family:-)
Beautiful place to relax! The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, and the staff is very friendly. The red wine Romance was one of my favorites.
Don't skip this place... amazing.
Great way to spend an afternoon. Take lunch or cheese and sit by the water. Awesome.
I hesitate to leave a review of this secret treasure, but they deserve credit where credit is due, so secret's out! This winery is a jewel in Placer County: great wines, beautiful grounds, and EXTRAORDINARY owners and staff that go out of their way to make your experience a good one. It was not even a question...we simply had to join their Wine Club (zero pressure, by the way) because we WILL be back on the regular. We walked away with big smiles on our faces after an afternoon of tasting delicious wines and enjoying the views of the property . What an fabulous day! So lucky to have this lovely place right in our own backyard. More...
This is such an amazing vineyard in the local area. Friendly family with an amazing property who is willing to share it all to the community. Perfect for siping wine for a relaxing sunny day by their pond or even having a event here like a wedding. The wine is delicious. We became wine members and look forward each time to visit and pick up. More...
Such a neat and diverse winery. It literally has everything you could want. Ill start off with their cute(yes I used the word cute) padio where they do the tastings. They have great scenery with a pond and a fountain. There is seating all over the property to suit your needs. There is games for the kids and a small jungle gym. I have heard live music here as well. Also the wine is pretty good and on weekends they typically have a food truck. This is one of our favorite wine places to go to along the placer wine trail. We came to visit friends in Roseville and this place was recommended. It did not disappoint! Not only was the a play structure for kids to play on, but bocce, corn hole, abs ladder gold. And when we tasted, they came to us! Could not be the more perfect winery! More...
Delicious wines and a beautiful venue!
My family and I love this place! We appreciate Kari and how she has welcomed us and our children, 5 and 10, and our friend's children as well. The grounds are beautiful and the wine is excellent. We can enjoy the weather and watch as our kids play on the play structure. It would be unfortunate to lose this privilege of having family time here because of those who do not supervise their children. We have never had ANY problems, as we do not let our kids roam around without us. I highly recommend Rancho Roble Vineyards! More...
This is a very special place! Kari (the owner ) has always been so welcoming to us and our children. We have visited with our friends and their children. We love to order OTP pizza ( they deliver to the winery) and sip on their great wine . It is great that they have a children's play structure. We happened to be there for the post below about the others parents being confronted about NOT supervising their children and have to agree with Kari's response. They where not watching their child and where not even within shouting distance of the child . We understand and respect the fact other Adults do want Not want children just roaming around a winery. I HiGhLY recommend this place and hope to continue many years of visiting with our children More...

Because of Kari, Rock, and Beth, our event was absolutely perfect! We held the first ever @ILoveLincoln Guest Appreciation Party/Client Appreciation Party at Rancho Robles yesterday evening and our guests enjoyed themselves immensely. No detail was missed.
Kari and her husband have really brought to life a hidden gem. Their property is beautiful to say the least. It's a great quiet place to basically unwind and enjoy a fantastic glass of wine. I am not much of a wine fan, let alone a connoisseur but I haven't had a bad glass of wine here. I'm so happy that this place exists! More...

Amazing winery, and we went on such an icky day! The owners made us feel very welcome and they are just the sweetest couple. So accommodating, went above trying to make us feel cozy. They pulled out extra firepits and blankets and we had such a good time! Birthday girl was set on coming back to this winery that she fell in love with, even on such a cold and rainy day. The best Barberas bar none!
If you are looking for a beautiful outdoor setting to enjoy amazing wine then this is your spot. It's a small family owned business with easy to get along with owners and friendly staff. Tasting is only $5 for really good wine (compared to Napa $50 tastings ) and their wine is reasonably priced for a small production vineyard. We love bringing food and our dogs and just spending the day out there. Highly recommend if you are anywhere in the Sacramento area. We recently moved to San Francisco and still enjoy coming out to visit for the day. More...

Hermoso lugar para compartir entre amigos, muy buen servicio y excelentes vinos!
Very kind, personable staff and owners as well as a beautiful, quiet property.
This has been on my list of wineries to check out. They have beautiful grounds with plenty of shaded seating, a beautiful pond and best of all a playground for kids!We scored the table right next to the playground so we could sit back and relax with our wine while our kid played. It was a perfect afternoon. The wines were great! We tasted a Chardonnay, Sauvignon blanc, rose and three different years of Barberas. Bottle prices were reasonable 22-34 range and $5 tasting fee waved with bottle purchase. We will be back! More...
I was looking for a winery that would be a fun place to celebrate my mom's birthday and would also be scenic for a picnic (we also had three teenagers with us, so someplace outdoors was preferable). I had several friends tell me that Rancho Roble was THE place to go, so it was the first stop on our tour. It did not disappoint! The ladies pouring the wine were a ton of fun, the owners were so great and personable, the wines were delicious! (you must try the Rose on a hot day!). We had hired two drivers to take us to the winery in vintage cars, and one of the ladies pouring wine came out and took a bunch of pictures for us. It was a wonderful, personable experience and I cannot wait to return! Cheers from the Mitchells. More...

My husband and I stumbled upon this gem on our motorcycle ride this afternoon. Jesse and Wesley were awesome, very personable. The winery is tucked back behind a beautiful vineyard and it reminds me of something you'd see in Tuscany. The wine was good, I particularly like the Riesling (which is amazing because I am usually a red wine girl), but what stood out most was the staff. They are doing some major renovations and we will definitely be back in the next few months to check out the new tasting room and patio. Great place to grab a drink and relax. More...
We are from San Jose and were meeting family and some of my wife's friends after Thanksgiving in Roseville - some of the couples we were meeting had kids (3, 5, and 7 yrs old) and our son is 13. This place had bocce ball, corn hole, and a play structure so all the kids and adults were able to connect and have fun while the adults shared a few of the bottles of RRV wine. They even had wifi for the guests so my son was able to get on his iPad for a little bit (we were there for a few hours). The grounds are absolutely amazing and we some fantastic pictures of our group. Beautiful views over the pond, nice fireplace in the back. And the owners were very friendly and helpful in answering our questions during tasting and helped us pick out the bottles we would be sharing during our visit. $5 to taste 4 wines (1 white which was very good, and 3 reds) and bottles were between ~$20-$30. Highly recommended for small groups and groups with a few kiddos as there is a lot there to make sure everyone has fun. Thanks to the owners for creating such a cool environment to enjoy your wine! If we lived closer, we would probably be here quite a bit! More...

This is an update from my previous review (below)We have visited twice for tasting and taking home wine. The usual tasting is four or five wines. More than reasonably priced fee or to waive with a purchase. Both trips, the family that owns the vineyard were friendly and went out of the way to make sure we felt right at home. Like friends they treated us not patrons. The first take home of wine ended up with a faulty bottle. Staff asked us to return to give the faulty Barbera an opportunity. Staff provided some education to why the first bottle may have gone bad. We also picked up a Chardonnay that was added to their selections. Again we enjoyed the tasting. Both times the bill settlement was prompt. Forward the bottles we took home. Chardonnay was definitely crisp, citrus and had some body. Easy on the palette and light drink. The Barbera was bursting with berry and cherry. Body and wet. Definitely an improvement over the funky irregular bottle from the first purchase.Winery updated signs which helped us find the place easier. Good: The customer service, attention to quality, and staff response to my initial concerns match the delicious wines sold here. I hope they are able to expand to other wines in the future. Bad: Just far for me to travel but worth it. I would definitely come back. Previous review: This winery vineyard tasting room is way out past in Lincoln. Part of the Placer County Wine Trail. Map this place before you drive out. You may lose internet if using your phone for directions. We tried a few wines out here for the tasting. Reasonable fee or to waive with a purchase.Staff was friendly and helpful. Knowledgeable was the young man. We ordered one bottle to waive the fee. The barbera. Transaction was fairly quick. Fast forward a few days after to drink the wine. We open the wine. Definitely not the wine we remembered ordering. Got a little funky taste. Almost bubbly red it turned into. Not sure if it didn't hold well but it was not what we remember. Hard to describe. Maybe blackberry cherry. Wet some. Aside from. We enjoyed as best we could.Winery experience was good. Hold up of wine was okay. I would come back for another shot. More...
The wine was amazing (and reasonably priced), the owners were so incredibly friendly, and the sitting area outside was beautiful. We can't wait to come back!
Just a great place to visit. Small, friendly, good wine, reasonably priced. Bring some food and enjoy. No traffic. A little off the beaten path, but worth the trip. Nice people too.
First tasted their wine at Wine Wednesday in downtown Roseville last week and fell in love! My friend and I decided we wanted a bottle but they weren't selling any at the event, so we went to the winery last Saturday and the place is beautiful! Absolutely breathtaking! In the tasting room the customer service was perfect! They totally remembered us from Wine Wednesday and were so welcoming. We started the tasting with the Chardonnay, which I'm usually not a fan of, but oh my goodness their chard was so refreshing and smooth! I HAD to have a bottle! I also purchased the 2009 Barbera, which was another favorite. All around this place is a must see! The owners are so friendly and the wine is bomb! If you have a chance, take the time to visit, swear it's totally worth it! More...
