What makes a great website?
A great website needs to have a few different copenets. It needs to load fast, be beautiful to look at, and easy to use. Tying all of that together it needs to be simple, a cave man should be able to look at website and within seconds knows that the business does.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
The most common question we ask our clients is where they want their busines to be eventually. We redo so many sites from other devopers because when the original builder built the site, they did it for the needs of right then, not thinking about what the customer wanted in the future. We like to have a sense of where the customer wants to be in the future, so that we can build the site or conducts the marketing in a way which leaves the doors open to those additional services.
Describe your creative process.
We put ourselves in the shoes of the businesses we are working with. We are selective about which businesses we work with because we wanting o put a lot of effort into thinking outside of the box and combing up with creative solutions for their business to get in front of more people, and increase not only the number of sales/donations but also the amount of those sales/donations.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
We usually need the scope of the project, and where The content is going to be coming from. Many times it already exists and we jsut need to get it online, or we have to physically create it. For website at least.
For most of the other projects we need to get a feel for the busines and the owner. Where it’s goig, how it started, anything that can give the busines a competitive advantage we want to know about it.
What do you love most about your job?
Some of our clients are either working for a business or were asked to get a project done, but most of the people we work with have a genuine passion for the worl they do, or for the income stream it provides. We are privadged to help people grow their dreams, and we believe that by helping small business owners be more sucessful, we make the world a better place.
