Best quesadilla I ever had, in a great environment. Yes, there are no places to sit inside the place, but eating outside (having it be downtown) is very enjoyable; and, if you still wanted to eat inside, you could take an order using GrubHub and have it delivered to your house. The customer service is great, and they have the food ready (only in a to-go box, I believe) in about 3-5 minutes. The quesadilla I got was called "Evan Boling", and mark my words it was the best quesadilla I ever had with the best sauces too (I got roasted sour cream and cilantro cream, which are also all homemade). The menu description of this quesadilla says it has "Cilantro lime chicken with crisp bacon and fresh jalapeños, mixed with our white cheese blend", and it's as good (if not better) as it sounds. The order also automatically comes with two sauces of choice to dip it in. If you purchase a soda here , like I did, it comes with free refills, too, which is a plus. The only slight downside of this restaurant is the price. $8 for this quesadilla (not including soda) is a bit much. Although, this is speciality food, and is local, so the extra tax for the small to decent amount of food is definitely worth it. These aren't your average quesadillas! I first tried Quesadilla Gorilla about a year ago at an event and after that I've been a huge fan! ! I love the #1 with an extra side of that green sauce. I absolutely love this restaurant. It has the best quality food, unique options, and amazing staff who are always so friendly. Quesadillas are one of my favorite foods and to have a unique restaurant that focuses on artisan buildable quesadillas are my dream come true. I visited the Quesadilla Gorilla food truck and was impressed by the efficiency of the staff! There was not a line when I ordered, and my food arrived quickly. I got the atomic veggie quesadilla, which was loaded with cheese, fajita veggies, and came with a spicy, creamy sauce. The quesadilla was warm, gooey, and delicious! This is definitely not health food given the generous portion of cheese, but it was a wonderful treat. I really appreciated that, as a non-meat option, it was NOT lacking in flavor! I was really hungry before I got this meal, and I could barely finish it. The portion was large and I thought the price was fair. I went for the first time yesterday. I heard pros and cons of this place and decided to try this out for myself. I didn't get what I ordered. It was missing one of the sides that were selected. BUT, Whatever I did get,I ate and it had flavor. It's not your typical quesadilla, it has a kick to it. I would return and I would just suggest making sure that your order is correct. I have only gotten the atomic veggie quesadilla, and every time I eat here whether it's the food truck or the brick and mortar store, it's superb. My only complaint is that the veggies are very watery and the quesadilla begins to fall apart after a few minutes, so the eating experience leaves something to be desired. We had them cater a community event and from what I was told, it was one of the first they had done (they did say they did birthday parties). They brought their canopy and set up. Both men who were in charge did a great job and said all of the people were nice. The food was super good. I had a Veggie quesadilla, but I cannot remember the name. Hands down Quesadilla Gorilla will always hit the spot! This was my first time visiting their Visalia location but second time trying their food (my first encounter with this little place of heaven was at their food truck at the Exeter Farmers Market about 3 weeks ago. ) Today I had the #1 Evan Boiling with a side of habanero, cilantro lime, and guacamole salsa. As a lover of spicy food let me tell you that the habanero salsa did not disappoint- it was SPICY! Not recommended for children or those who normally don't eat spicy food or past the Taco Bell mild sauce. The cilantro lime was my husbands and I absolute favorite! So rich and flavorful and compliments any quesadilla so well! The avocado salsa was good but gets totally outshined by the other 2 salsas in my opinion.Now to the quesadilla- lets start with the huge tortilla. If your not starving one quesadilla is totally shareable since it's large enough to be sliced in 4 large slices. But if your like me a complete foodie and want more to love by all means get one for yourself. The tortilla was super crunchy on the outside soft on the inside- cilantro lime chicken was juicy and cooked to perfection. Jalapeños didn't provide any source of hotness to my meal- again I have been eating spicy food since I was like 1 year old so what's not spicy for me might be spicy for you- and there was the right amounts of crunchy bacon, rice, and cheese. Stopped through Fresno on my drive from Houston to the redwoods. Never heard of QG but wanted to give it a try. Everything was very tasty. I'm a little (or alot) OCD. I don't think the order slip that you write your order down on should be placed in your food box, touching your food. Those papers have been all over the counter, maybe the floor, hell maybe someone sneezed on them for all I know. This goes for the condiment containers being placed on your food as well.
