We had the Chicken and Waffles with a side of cheese grits and it was fantastic! Generous portion, delicious moist chicken and a flavorful bourbon syrup. I enjoyed pairing it with the grits personally just to cut the sweetness slightly but it was fantastic either way! This place is located inside St.Roche market and was great for a quick lunch with my husband during our visit to New Orleans. Service was quick and friendly! More...

Great food hall! There are actually several empty spots where places used to be or haven't come yet so it could have more choices, but the places it does have are top notch. We grabbed dinner at La Cocinita and then a drink at Bar 1908. Fantastic drinks and great service. More...

Definitely stop by this adorable place for lunch! Â I stopped by on Saturday during their jazz lunch session and the band was fantastic. Â There is just about any type of food you could want from pizza to jerk chicken and everyone seemed to be enjoying what they ordered. Â It seemed to be filled with locals, which probably speaks to their quality. Â The bartender was excellent and I decided to go for a brown rice/spicy tuna bowl and it was delish! More...

My coworkers and I like this spot bc it has many different options and is close to work. I've tried almost everything in here and been to the happy hour after work as well. Some of my favorite vendors is Little Fig (same as 1000 Figs in Mid-City) and their falafel plate with hummus and salad. I also like the Vietnamese spot and getting their pho and pork vermicelli with eggroll. I also like the poke bowls at Kai too! And the pizza place is delicious, definitely try their Brussels sprouts! The breakfast biscuit at Fete au fete is tasty too! And 14 Parishes has delicious food too!Definitely check out the happy hour too! It's a pretty bar and they make tasty cocktails!Plus this is a historic building with beautiful murals!Enjoy eating and drinking! More...

My mom got Poke from Kais and said it was good but not great. She's had better. The problem  was that everything tasted the same. Because she didn't love hers this is a 4 star review. I on the other hand ate at Frencheeze and had what was easily the best slider, and quite possibly the best sandwich I've ever had- the percival. First of all it's a great price, two for $9 is a steal! They're also ready within 5-10 minutes depending on how busy they are and what you order. The percival was amazing, the perfect combination of flavors. The savory brisket has a sweet  sweet bbq sauce, the goat cheese nicely complements the raspberry preserves  too it all off wIth a yummy bun and you have yourself an amazing sandwich. Frencheese deserves 5-stars in my book  and I'll definitely be going back! More...

Awesome "food court!" I love this up and coming concept. I'd come back to try the pizza, since they weren't up and running when I was there. Â And maybe get some more empanadas. This place appeals to the drinkers, the meat eaters and vegans too. There really is something here for everyone! There is ample seating for families, couples and groups of friends. Plus, it's walking distance to a lot of hotels and businesses. This is also great if you don't want a Cajun/creole restaurant or aren't looking for a fancy restaurant and just seek a quick bite. What a nice surprise! We were on the last full day of our epic, long weekend in New Orleans. We knew it was going to be pouring down rain until later afternoon, so we decided to chill in our hotel (the Moxy) that morning, then venture out for lunch. It was still pouring at 11AM, so checked Yelp for good food options nearby, with possibilities for vegan.Up popped the Pythian Market food hall. What?!Why hadn't I noticed this before -- just one block away from our hotel Wish I'd noticed them earlier -- we would have become instant regulars.Anyway, we RAN to Pythian -- trying not to get too wet in the process. Stepped inside and WOW -- LOTS of enticing food options to choose from. Caribbean, Vietnamese, Japanese/poke, Italian/pizza, Southern/Creole/soul food, Middle Eastern, Venezuelan/Latin, coffee, bar, and more -- many with vegan offerings.Damn -- now we were faced with a HUGE dilemma -- what to choose? We started with iced mochas from Edison's Espresso and Tea Bar. I went for a vermicelli noodle bowl with shrimp from from Eatwell Vietnamese Food, and my wife went for the Very Vegan House Bowl from Kais (Japanese).Mochas were super good, my noodle bowl was very tasty, and my wife loved her vegan bowl filled with tofu, edamame, mango, cucumber, pickled ginger, and more.Great place to hang out on a rainy New Orleans day (ok -- ANY day!)! Majorly wishing we had found this gem on the first day in New Orleans rather than the last.  What an amazing mix of eclectic restaurants! If you have a large group, this will please everyone's tastebuds for sure. From tea bars, to vegan spots, Jamaican cuisine to the good ole favorite fire oven pizzas, this market will not disappoint. Pythian Market has an open concept warehouse vibe with 80s music blasting through the speakers. This is a place you can come with friends and hang for awhile if you are looking to waste some time. We chose the Mexican rice bowl with shredded chicken,  Cuban sliders and chips and salsa from La  Cocinita Food Truck. AMAZING!!! Should had known we were in for a treat when the line wrapped around the entrance. More...

I have been to Pythian Market a handful of times now, but I wanted to share my WONDERFUL experience hosting my rehearsal dinner at the market. We had an awesome, partially secluded area reserved for us that worked out well. Each guest got a gift card & they could choose their own adventure for dinner. This was exactly what we wanted for our two families that were just meeting each other & everyone said the food was incredible & had a great time. The two staffers with us that night were SO great. Michael and Lauren made sure everything went smoothly and helped us out when we had a small hiccup with the gift cards. The night was so perfect & I highly recommend Pythian Market for any event or just for a fun time anytime. More...
