Love the many options here. Everyone can get something different and still come together and have a great time and meal. Staff is super friendly and helpful. And the prices are reasonable. Annnd the best part.... there’s a full bar, with happy hours More...
So many choices of delectable dishes..food to satisfy any palatte
Another great food hall. Perfect for NOLA. Many delicious choices here.
Love this place! Such an adorable spot with an option for everyone! My favorite is the Mediterranean spot Little Fig. They do a fantastic falafel platter and that hibiscus tea is fantastic! The bar is great too, especially during happy hour. Get the G&T&T, so refreshing! More...
My husband and I checked out Pythian market for the first time, before a Saints home game. There is a lot of variety, and although it's a bit smaller than I expected there was a good amount of seating. We did not get any drinks, but I saw a lot of good looking bloody Mary's! More...
Good happy hour deals and good service but the space isn't very comfortable
You can get great tacos, Mediterranean food, Vietnamese...love this food hall.
I truly enjoyed the tour that I received.
Cool place for lots of different places to eat. Very communal and community minded. Great for hipsters.
Love the variety
Great idea with multiple choices.
This indoor market has several mini restaurant booths with totally different types of cuisine. There is also full service bar that sells the most delicious frozen cocktails like the Frose'. I highly recommend the Mediterranean booth and the Venezuelan booth. Both meals I enjoyed from them were delicious! I also love the totally laid back atmosphere along with the view of Loyal St. The Pythian is located across the street from the main library and only a few blocks from Canal. If you are looking for a New Orleans multicultural dinning experience, than look no further. I highly recommend this to Locals and even tourist though I wouldn't really recommend it for families with young kids. ( Kids are still welcome, I just don't think this is the best place for them) More...
My favorites are the mac and cheese balls and sliders at Frencheeze.
14 Parishes-the best plantains and such a huge serving for the price.Meribo Pizza-MUST try the brick oven pizza with white sauce/ham and cheese and honey-the BEST slice of pizza I have ever had. ALSO save room for their brussel sprouts-the BEST in the city.Frencheeze-MUST HAVE mac and cheese balls!!!! Sliders are amazing too. More...
Walking into the market i was extremely overwhelmed with many great options to choose from. I tossed back and forth and ended up choosing to eat from Meribo's Pizza! It was a great choice. I ordered a pizza with red sauce, creamy mozzarella, black olives, salami, and caramelized onions. It was divine. Light, airy, bold, yet subtle flavors. The environment is nice! Very different from your standard food court with a variety of happy hour specials. The music is nice giving it a great vibe to chill with friends, study, or an impromptu date night. I certainly will be back to partake! More...
We loved this food hall! We ended up having Frencheeze and it was really good! Highly recommend because there are so many options because of the food court set up. It's also really close to holiday inn Superdome hotel. More...
Multiple vendors covering a wide range of foods. Eat in or carry out. Close to the Jung Hotel. There is also a full bar in the market.
The Margarita pizza was the best I've ever had...
We ate food from the food truck while it was at a local bar. The food was good. There were about 8 to 10 choices including 1 healthy option. The sandwiches were both $10 which included tax. The only downfall would be there were no sides. The options for a bag of chips or fries would be nice. Although I must say the quality of the sandwich for $10 in New Orleans was exceptional. I would definitely go back again. More...
As I rushed out of my house to work this morning, I headed straight to my work-based coffee shop for a cheap and greasy breakfast sandwich. This is until I was met with more horror than a film in the Friday the 13th franchise: The greedy early morning scoundrels had eaten every morsel. No bacon, egg and cheese love left for me! Walking away with the feeling of betrayal from my local baristas and my sad pack of Belvita breakfast biscuits, I thought to myself that I wanted a biscuit more savory and buttery than these "4 hours of nutritious steady energy" in a wrapper. I wanted a biscuit that was full of love.Behold, I trotted over to the Pythian and took a peek at their Instagram. Someone had to be serving breakfast there. Of course: Fete au Fete.I've had Fete au Fete's food in various different spaces. I first indulged in their flavor-packed Cajun and Creole cuisine inside of the St. Roch Market. When I first took a bite of their chicken and waffles, I knew for sure it wouldn't be the last time I'd eat their food. The chicken was well-seasoned and fresh, the waffle crisp and the syrup was different from any I'd ever had.As I took a peek at the menu, I saw something that caught my eye: a simple sausage, egg and cheese biscuit. I won't lie, the price seemed high for a simple, small breffus sammich that I simply needed to get me to lunch, but when I returned to the office and opened my brown paper bag munchable, I realized I had made the right decision. The cathead biscuit was fluffy, buttery and reminded me of something my grandma makes from scratch. The sausage was hearty and flavorful and the egg was the perfect fluffy scramble. Not to mention, the sandwich was friggin' HUGE. Definitely a two-handed meal and the most perfect yet simple breakfast I've had in a while. And just like that, my faith was restored in the land of Breakfast Sandwiches. More...
We ate at Kais. We built a bowl. It was good.
I tried Thai food, chicken pho it was not that much of a flavor.. but the place was super nice with ability to chat with ur friends
Lots of fun places to eat here. Clean, fun.
Nice place. Lots of food choices.
In from out-of-town looking for a no fuss food option and stumbled in this Market. I am glad I did! Everything looked good and smelled great that I felt bad to choose one spot. Just wow, the Latin kitchen was delicious without breaking the wallet and the cocktail bar was just the place to stuff my face with well prepared drinks! A must for anyone having problems deciding what to eat downtown. More...
We ate at Frenchees within the Pythian Market for brunch and shared a Rachel, a Molly, and some homemade fries. Really great place to get a yummy, quick, and inexpensive meal!
Great for lunch
Good selection and generally reasonable prices. Not perfect, but definitely something different we needed downtown. Check it out.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZINGGGGG LITERALLY THE BEST EVER!
Great place with alot of various options for good food. Try Edison's Espresso and Tea Bar it's great and Dee the owner is the best. 14 Parish is a great Jamaican spot in the market as well. The bar across from Edison's is also a great spot with natural juices to make fresh drinks. More...
I ALWAYS find myself here with my friends because it is so easy to find something for everyone. So far all the food I've had has been phenomenal. No complaints from me.
Great place. Would be even better if you put out a water pitcher!
It’s an upscale food court for yuppies. We had the poke bowls from Kai and they were delicious!
I feel like more of a "superfan" when it comes to The Pythian. I love the food and I enjoy the drinks even more. Plus, I go there...A LOT. This is the perfect food hall for an escape from your #SadOfficeSalad, a coffee break pick-me-up during the workday and especially a chill happy hour after you're done being an adult for the day. BOOO!I love that you can purchase food from different spots and take a seat at the bar if you so wish and order a drink. The possibilities are endless. It's a happy hour dream come true. Anyways! Here are a few of my favorites inside:La Cocinita has some of the best Latin American food! Their daily specials are always sure to satisfy. Ground beef and tostones are one of my favorite dishes, the street tacos are always full of flavor no matter which protein you choose and their empanadas are the perfect little fried pieces of comfort food. See also: They serve Mexican cokes, which I am obsessed with. I have to try their churros next. Dirty South Sammich Co. is another favorite, they serve some pretty slammin' sammiches. The Nashville Hot Chicken is pretty tasty and their "Dirty Flurrys" (yes, a dirtier version of the beloved McDonald's McFlurry) are one of my favorite ice cream concoctions, specifically the Oreo one. The ice cream is just so soft and they never cheat you with little cookie crumbs, there are always chunky cookie pieces!EatWell NOLA is a new favorite. So far, I've only tried their "Mama's Eggrolls" as a happy hour treat, but even these were delish. They are made to order, which means fresh and hot each time!Bar 1908 is clearly my favorite spot ever inside, next to La Cocinita of course. Some of the most creative and refreshing cocktails are served here and they have a nice happy hour. (Not a cheap happy hour however, which I want to note. This doesn't take away from its glory; you get what you pay for. And you pay for quality drinks) They served an end of summer punch this week, The Camp House, and I absolutely fell in love. Also! Willie Mae's is coming soon to this hall, which is clearly exciting. More...
This is a nice little market in New Orleans. I have gotten the pizza there that was a wood frame and I really recommend it! The choices there are pretty good. This is not a huge market but still fun to go to. More...
We ate at 14 Parishes. Great food and very friendly staff! I highly recommend it.
It's a different kind of place. Multiple food venders, all are good. Nice people. Great place
Two words. Trash grits! Grabbed lunch while visiting the city. I didn't want the usual burger/fries. And this girl loves grits. Cheesy grits, pulled pork, an egg. Perfection. The service was great, he was nice! Even gave us a heads up that the order may take longer since my girl got chicken. (Which she said was really good) If you find yourself in the CBD, hit this place up! More...

Very nice place love the drag bingo the best
It was a fabulous experience , the facility was clean and the staff was friendly.
A place of variety for you taste buds. Check out frencheeze in the back next to a spot that severs breakfast all day and the best Jamaican spot 14 parishes. But don't forget about frencheeze. "Lover of bread butter and cheese" sliders that will holler. Tell am b3 sent ya. Best service out of all 13 vendors. Great spot for kids parties and etc. Come check them out won't be disappointed just confused on what to eat with so many amazing food choices More...
Love this place. Great cocktails and a plethora of delicious food choices.
Really good place to meet with co workers or small group for lunch. Free wifi but did not use it. The atmosphere is active with several restaurants and a bar and TV to view your favorite sports.
Food choices are great, especially when everyone wants something different.
Great selection of vastly ecclectic little restaurants. Highly recommend at any time of the day for a quick bite to eat or a couple of drinks. Nice, chilled atmosphere & friendly, helpful staff. More...
What a place to kill your hunger with good ambience and music !
We ate here during a visit from Atlanta. It reminds me a bit of Ponce City Market food hall. We have a child who is a very picky eater and were thrilled to find Meribo pizza along with other options for the rest of the family. Special shoutout to Glen at Meribo for being so kind to our son. More...
La cocinita is my favorite place and the tacos are delicious.
Great hipster spot to meet up with friends. There’s several eateries and one bar.
Fete au Fete is AMAZING... between the food and the people this place was the bomb. Had some of the best gumbo along with shrimp and grits I’ve ever had in my life. The people, the atmosphere, the food are all incredible. Gotta check it out! More...
Kais poke bowls are hands down one of the best poke bowls in the city. They use fresh ingredients and for the price, I it think this place tops all poke places in the city.
Something for everyone! I have eaten at most places and everything is really good. Items can be a bit pricey for a self-service walk up menu, but still reasonable for a downtown lunch option.
The variety... The bar... Its all great. First time there, but won't be my last
Nice market with many different restaurants to try and live music.
Decent. Lacks local feel and options for food variations.
Pretty good and the food was enjoyable. They had a band playing and some of the music wasn't that good.
Nice millennial spot to grab a bite to eat and socialize with friends. There's a bar and several eateries to choose from depending on your tastes.
I have had the red beans and the crawfish poutine and both are ROLLING! I love how wil altamont everything is and that although its nola style it isn't too heavy. The servers are always so nice and happy to give info. The area is well kept and clean and always smells wonderful. Check them out! More...
A lot of good options
Pho with beef from EAT WELL
Very well done. Great selections.
Fun food court in New Orleans. Lots of different places to choose from
Went to Pythian Market yesterday for lunch. My friend and I went to The Little Fig and split the lamb tagine, which was INCREDIBLE, then we went to 14 Parishes and split the curry goat, again it was delicious. We had the jasmine rice and calaloo for our sides and everything was so good. I especially love the fact that there are trash AND recycling bins and I even saw one compost collection. Very cool and clean atmosphere. I highly recommend! More...
I love it, so many choices, so many talented cooks
Lots of healthy options here! I like that food halls are beoming one of the cool new trends in town.
This place is always a home run for food and atmosphere
Friendly staff and creative, tasty cocktails at Bar 1908! Be sure to check it out!
Great food selections. Nice open space.
A variety of food is available.
Lots of different types of food. Average price from $5-15. There is a bar also.
The sliders are great. The place has a variety of rerestaurants. It also has both alcohol and coffee bars.
Awesome place with great food!
Delicious food, refreshing drinks, friendly staff, clean place.
They got variety of food choices, its neat, good ambience and crowd. We had so much fun eating and sharing various dishes at the same time, drinking cool cocktails, in clean and safe enviroment..
Many vendors with a wide selection of different cousines
Nice cool market with a bar and amazing food! There was live music inside while we ate. Best way to get a bite and beat the heat.
Nice selection of food options. Plenty of vegetarian options and one place that had coffee. Not very busy when we were there. I'd like to see them succeed.
Really wonderful space to get lunch or dinner when you are downtown. Many different options and something for everyone. It's not hard to find a table even at lunchtime on a Friday.
I loved the salamon at the jamaican restaurant
I was there for an event. It's a beautiful space and the food is delicious!
Big fan of this place. If you're staying at the Troubadour this is the closest place to get a drink before 5:00 pm since the hotel bar doesn't open till then. Think of it as a hip little food court just with much better and healthier food offerings. Complimentary WiFi throughout and good happy hour from 4-7 mon-fri. I sampled the grilled cheese place and the taco place. Maybe not the NOLA experience your after, it's a good clean place to cool off and get some work done. More...
Super dope spot in downtown NOLA! It's basically a food hall and bar combined so you can take your most pickiest eaters and everyone will find something they like. They have vegan, gluten free, vegetarian and regular carnivore options. So far I have tried La Cocinita & Frencheeze. La Cocinita was super delicious and allowed me to get my arepa and empanada fixing. I got the vegan arepa and it was to die for! Absolutely amazing spice and flavor and it was prepared to quickly. Frencheeze was also delicious, I got sliders and their Mac and cheese balls. You can easily spend a lot of money here because you want to try everything on the menu. they have happy hour m-f 4-7 so definitely check that out! More...

Bring a few people to share items from each vendor
The market is a bit of a hike from Bourbon St. but not too bad. It's actually a lot smaller than I expected - from reading about them on their website I was expecting more of an "Eataly" type of atmosphere.Cleanliness and overall decor is nice, I could see it being a cool place to chill - grab a beer and watch some sports but I was there for the food. It was pretty uneventful when I was there and the food vendors were kind of just standing there and playing with their phones.I've made a separate review for the food stall that I actually got food from but the market itself is cool to visit but don't expect to make a day trip or afternoon out of it. Maybe best to just come to grab a snack if you're in the area. Be advised, some vendors are "card only". More...
I came here on a Saturday night, not too crowded. Frencheez sliders were scrumptious, I got the dirty south ones. The fried oysters from Cru NOLA are a must. This market is a great option for a big group or if you're in the city solo More...
Great selection from healthy to not so healthy. Food court style without the mall crowd. service was pretty quick. Great if you just want to hangout also as they have events throughout the week.
Great diversity of restaurants under one roof. Kais was exceptional for our business meeting.
A foodies delight on the cheap.
Love this place. This market had about 15 different pop up restaurants. They all looked amazing and I tried two but cant remember because I was out there for a bachelor party if you catch my drift. But a must go to for quick bites, food on the go or to sit down and enjoy. More...
Really cool spot is almost like a dining court at the mall but the food choices are much better. Had 7 food stalls around a central seating area. Had the trash grits, pizza, and brisket sammich wide selection of food and ready fast. More...
Good vibe and great variety
Great food hall with lots of options. The Kai's place does great poke bowls.
There is a Jamaican restaurant inside food is great place clean
I love the plants in here....
Meribos is the most amazing place in this market. The employees are so awesome! Jacob and Nigel were the most accomidating and lively employees. It seemed as if there was no wait! Jacob kept us laughing and engaged while we waited. Nigel cooked everything to perfection! Even when I dropped my pizza on the counter, Jacob was cheery and helped me to get it back on the plate. I wish I could give them a 10 out of 5. It was truly amazing experience. More...
I love going to Pythian Market for quick, delicious food. The food and drink options are great but my favorite is Meribo for their woodfired pizza. Prices at Pythian are higher than a fast food spot but in line with the high quality. Especially great for lunch or pre-show meal. More...
Love this place.
Great casual spot with wide variety of food choices. Enjoyed the falafel but there were several other items nearby vendors were selling that looked great, too.
I had the curried goat and cabbage and Mac ‚n‘ cheese. Poke was good as were the tacos per my lunch mates.
Many different food vendors and they have a great drag brunch on Sundays

Come for the fun, the food, the flavor, and the flamboyance. All are welcome and accepted, good times are a given!
A group of friends and I went here for happy hour, it's a cute little market with lot's of options. I got the G&T&T which was on happy hour ($6) and it was cute, yummy and fresh (I don't like gin much but I enjoyed this), it was a bit sweet but not overbearing. At La Cocinita I got two chicken street tacos and a cheese Empanada (I also tried a bite of the pork empanada) portions were small but everything was decent. I wasn't overwhelmed by the empanadas but the street tacos were pretty good they had some flavor (also they were only $2 a pop!). My friend got the La Llanera (an arepas) and he loved it (I had a bite and thought it was delicious), arepas are the way to go there I think. From Frencheeze I tried there parmesan fries with the rosemary aioli and they were so good, the fries were nice and the perfect amount crispy, they were a bit light on the Parmesan but the rosemary aioli is what really stole the show. I didn't think I would like it but it was the perfect mix with the fries. I also tried some of a Dirty South slider and it was delicious! My friend got the hangover fries from Fete Au Fete (they have the tiniest bit of kick but not an overbearing spice especially with the gravy on it) and they were to die for and another friend got Nashville Hot Chicken from Dirty South Sammich which tasted good but we were a bit disappointed because it was not spicy, like at all.Overall great experience and a really good place to come to if you aren't wanted to try a few different types of food for a decent price More...
We were traveling with our nieces who are vegetarians. This place was amazing. So many great options we did dinner and returned for breakfast. We'll be back.
I went to Kai's sushi/Asian booth tonite. I ordered custom rolls and my expectations were far exceeded.
Love it, A must go if you are around the CBD or in the city! They have different types of food for all taste, my favorite is La Cocinita

True city food market, fantastic variety and plenty of nearby parking!
My first time here. The place has a best atmosphere. Live music and drinks is all I need to have a great time. Parishes is a awesome Jamaican place. The food is so food and authentic. Bar 1908 also has some great cocktails. Even staples such as gin and tonic are made with a bit of extra life. I enjoyed my time and I will be back. More...

Great little market that has so many food choices! I have had the pizza, the breakfast food, and the french cheese place (pictured below). They had a Rachel sandwhich so of course I had to have it! Some of the best tacos I've ever encountered. You can tell it's all fresh and house made. La Cocinita is highly recommended!
Lovely meeting place.
Came at noon with a limited lunch break and got quick food and was able to have a table. Just a great atmosphere
Go for happy hour! The drinks are great and there are literally tons of options for food. My personal favorite? Grab an old fashioned at the bar and a Jamaican patty. You won’t be disappointed!
Lovely indoor food market with various vendors. Purchased some local honey as a souvenir. Ate at the Mediterranean shop.

Great place to stop with a wide selection of restaurants. There are choices available for almost any taste in food. Our favorite by far was 14 Parishes. I checked this place out a couple of times when I was staying at the hotel next door. This place has a good layout. There are also tons of incredible options available inside this food hall. The food hall has options for everyone. If you are craving a nice big fried chicken sandwich, then you can order that. If you prefer a crisp salad with a light dressing, then that is available as well. I had coffee, a falafel plate, and hand cut rosemary truffle fries. Everything seemed to be made from high quality ingredients. I could even taste the fresh rosemary from those truffle fries pretty well. More...
The waffle... literally everything! The waffle speaks for itself. The bit of crunch, the butter spread, the syrup, WOW! The chicken on the other hand wasn't my favorite. Although it was fried to perfection, the thigh piece of chicken isn't the creme de la creme of chicken. The way the chicken was fried reminded me a lot of McHardy or McKenzies Chicken in the Box. I ate the crispier parts of the chicken which were delicious, but I did have to toss a lot of it because it was so fatty. But, that waffle, BOMB! It was an enjoyable snack, but I definitely needed something else as the time went on.Fete au Fete being located at the Pythian Market is ideal. It isn't far from my home and is super easy and quick to get to. This dish is definitely one I recommend. More...
Basically the best food to come out of a food truck. They are super helpful and super on top of their game. They have some nice options, especially if you're not sure what your crew feels like eating. The goat curry from the Jamaican place was pretty good, as was the fried chicken sandwich.
Fantastic service and atmosphere! Brunch bottomless mimosas and the food were also amazing!!
Excellent place for flavors and drinks. Just love it.

This place was filled with fresh food smells, smiling faces, and a variety of cuisines. There was even a massage therapist to loosen you up before returning to work.
Variety of differnt foods and a nice atmosphere.
Kinda walked into this place on the way to Superdome....but glad we did for an AREPA pit stop!!!! This is a food market for everyone's tastebuds. Would definitely recommend this.
Great variety and great taste
Stopped by 14 Parishes because it had rave reviews in several local publications. Maybe we visited on an off day but I was not impressed. I've had much better and more authentic Caribbean fare in Brooklyn. The portions do not match the prices and the food is terribly under seasoned. While my oxtail stew was meaty it lacked flavor, heat and spice. The sauteed plaintains were sub par. I've had better grub in soup kitchens. And if the cook/bartender had paid attention to the order rather than flirting with my wife he wouldn't have forgotten to make our beverages (that we paid for...and asked for three times).Nope. Not going here again. Maybe if someone else is working the counter. Should gone to Frencheeze instead. More...
Awesome environment. Cool space. Great vendor selection.
Little something for everyone, the food is so great here!
Loved the vibe of this place and would highly recommend getting food from 14 Parishes while you're there. They have good happy hour specials and you can't beat the variety of food/drink choices in the market.
Several restaurants under one roof for an amazing lunch experience. The butternut squash and black bean tacos were awesome, and my wife's Nola trio (shrimp n grits, red beans and rice, and crawfish poutine) was excellent. Maybe pricey for lunch (I could've had six of the tacos, but an order of 3 was $11), but cool venue with tons of great options. More...

We spent an evening at the market with club chefs, the food was amazing, drinks are on point. I would come back anytime.
Be prepared to make the toughest choice ever! So many amazing food selections!
Neat place tucked into and unassuming building. Plenty of eateries - both that we sampled / purchased from were delicious. Great variety of choices for a quick snack or meal. We were here late, around 8pm. Easy vibe, very friendly at Meribo Pizza!
Fast service, good food.
Decided to check this place out since I been seeing pretty cool reviews about it and how the concept of the place is basically just one big food court. Its not any food court though its basically a food court on steroids. This place is very trendy to me and I couldn't stop myself from just looking at all the nice art on the walls and drawings. They have plenty of different restaurants to choose from ranging from Vietnamese, poke, Jamaican and even a nice pizza place with many more. They also sell king cakes as well and have a full service bar. We came here on a Thursday for lunch and they had plenty of seating available and were still pretty crowded. We decided to go with the Poke bowl from Kai's and also had some Crawfish Poutine with a side of fresh hand cut Aioli Fries. Everything tasted great and came out at a decent time. All three restaurants we visited the employees were nice and customer service was great. All the Mardi Gras decorations were nice to look at as well with all the Saints flags. If your ever in town with a group of people and no one can make up there mind I'm sure this is the spot for you! There is plenty to choose from and the food tasted great. I am looking forward to try the pizza and have a couple of drinks on the next visit. More...
Do yourself a favor and get to Pythian to try their vodka king cake frozen beverages before MG season ends. And while you're at it, get a pizza at Meribo and the falafel plate at Little Figs. Two of the best meals I've had in New Orleans and conveniently located near the parade routes. Such a fun place with a group of people who need different food options with a nice bar to boot. More...
Pythian Market is a great concept - especially if you're going out to lunch with a group of people. It's a large space with many different vendors offering different types of food. Some names you'll recognize from local food trucks and some you'll want to try because you haven't heard of them. During Carnival season there's a king cake shop that sells different king cakes from various bakeries. More...
Great food options
Some booths had sibpar service and web page not accurate with some happy hour and other prices but pizza was good and a historic location
Food is so delicious
Great place for familys
I live in a nearby building so naturally Edison's is my first stop almost every morning before work. A coffee shop serving all your basics while also offering delicious (and beautiful) artisanal drinks. Dee, the owner, is such a sweet soul! She's very easy going and her coffee shop definitely radiates the same vibes. More...
Try any and all of the things at the pizza spot, you won’t regret it.
Lots of food vendors to choose from. Good food, but a bit pricey.
Visited The Pythian Market during the Super Bowl boycott. Immediately when I walked in my boyfriend and I was shocked we had never heard of it. The atmosphere was 10/10 and having multiple food vendors was a win so we could have variety. The bar tenders were helpful and worked quickly. I could go on about the vendors but I’m probably going to be a frequent visitor just based upon the history of the building itself (which I later found out about) now the name of the market & bar make sense! If you’re African American I recommend going and supporting just for the sake of history. More...
Found the best jerk chicken in there
The food selection is great, I have never had a bad meal here. Happy hour is a good time to visit

Little pricey. Novel concept and small portions.
I love the coffee, the ambiance, the watermelon palomas. Come see for yourself.
Such a wonderful place to go when you can't really land on a tastebud, but want to go out. My husband and I were headed to The Saenger Theatre for date night, and while the Big Easy is an endless sea of delicious options, it's often overwhelming to pick just one. You don't have to choose here! Greek? Pizza? Sammiches? Booze? All boxes checked. Sad the king cake place was closed while we were there, and that the happy hour line was a quarter of an hour long. Happy to have finally tried this place so I could find the brisket sammich of dreams at Dirty South Sammich Company.A well thought out spot! More...
Great atmosphere, music, drinks jyst was in a happy setting.

Amazing food court experience with very diverse culinary offerings
Come to our SAINTS BOYCOTT TODAY there will be the 2009 Super Bowl and the 2018 season. So feel free to come down we have food and beverages for sale and a happy hour from 4-7 at the bar, come on in down to the Pythian.
Great choices for delicious food even in THE greatest food city. Love the history of this building, too
Great potential in this new space! Multiple types of event spaces on the upper levels for rent, though the first level is what most people are familiar with - food vendors, full bar, and lounge area open to the public. I stopped in for Happy Hour with a few friends to grab a bite and drinks. The atmosphere is very casual, which is a nice separation from other popular "markets" in the city. In the lounge area they had a TV playing sports, and it's set off to the side from the food area and bar. There are about a dozen food vendors to choose from in addition to the full bar. Huge variety in food choices, some places recognizable from their food trucks I've seen around the city. Dinner crowd was a bit light, but I can imagine lunch is where the crowd happens in this area of downtown. Happy Hour is until 7 p.m. which is always a bonus. Sampled both of the cocktails on offer for $6 and they were both awesome. One is a twist on an old fashioned and the other was a tea infused tonic - loved them. They also had wine & beer specials for similar prices. For dinner we grabbed a pizza for $9 (reg. $12), along with a salad - delicious! Cannot beat these prices in this area of the city, especially when everything was great. Of course you do have to pay to park, but at least finding parking isn't too hard in this area with all of the street parking and abundance of garages. More...
This place is great! I work by the library so I often walk over to this place for lunch or a coffee. I've never had any food here I didn't love. Everyone who works here is kind and friendly. One vendor/booth that sticks out to me though is Edison's Coffee and Tea. It's owned by a lady named Dee who is lovely! She remembers my order, is fun to chat with and always makes me some killer coffee! Check the market out and make sure you grab a coffee! More...
The only thing that could make pythian better is ramen. I moved away from the area shortly after opening and I wish I had visited more. I appreciate the neighborhood deals from #bar1908. #bottles I love the food options. Not knowing what to eat, I can come here and find something. The pizza joint is oh so delish (as I stuff my face with wild mushroom goodness) and I don't need to worry about ordering a whole pie. Peep that review #meribopizzaApparently its king cake central too. #mardigras More...
Great variety, yummy foods, friendly crews.... I’ll be back!
This is a great place to meet up with friends for happy hour b/c there are a variety of foods and drinks. Plenty of space and the music was jamming. The Harvest Moon bourbon cocktail is delicious. If you like rosemary try this. Street tacos and pepperoni pizza were perfect for happy hour! More...
We're staying next door for the next few days, so we came in for a quick bite to eat. It was a bit hard to choose one place to eat, but I grabbed trashy grits from Fete as fete, and my husband got a chicken sandwich from Dirty South sammich. (I asked my husband the name, and he corrected me "it's not sandwich, it's Sammich") We enjoyed the location so much, we went back tonight to try out a few different things. Not too bad. We might go back again tomorrow for our last lunch before we head back to Michigan. More...
Stopped by here on Sunday and really enjoyed my experience. It happened to be the Sunday that the Saints were playing the Rams so it was "lit", and I rarely use that word (in fact, I actually don't like that word at all), but that's the best way to describe it. It felt like a cross between a food hall and a bar. I'm sure it's not always that crowded and loud, but I actually enjoyed the experience and thought it was cool to see everyone dressed up in black and gold dancing to the music (the employees even got in on the dancing, too).Anyway, I like how they offer a lot of variety. There's food for picky eaters (tacos and pizza, who doesn't like tacos and pizza?), but then there's also food for the more adventurous folks (poke, Mediterranean, creole, Vietnamese, etc). I happened to be craving tacos, so I got the black bean and butternut squash tacos from la cocinita and they were incredible! Everything from the filling (black beans, diced butternut squash, rice, red cabbage slaw, and an avocado crema of some sort) to the tortilla itself (okay so the tortilla was just a regular flour tortilla but it was toasted to a slight crisp and it was delicious) was amazing. I'm not a huge meat eater so I didn't try the other tacos but my friend had the carne asada tacos and loved them. I'll definitely be back soon to try Little Fig and Meribo. I love food halls and am so happy that Nola has yet another solid food hall option-one that'll satisfy any kind of eater! More...
Love the Pythian Market. It has great food and fast service. It's a good place to go if you're looking for food without a long wait. There are chairs to sit down at as well. Highly recommend the sampler at Fete Au Fete. More...

Something for everyone! Great place to go if you have a group of people and everyone wants something different.
Very similiar to the NY/SF/LA food halls. Finally was able to get away from the office and venture out further away than our 2 block radius and SO worth it.Been out in Nola for a project here for last year and have been wanting to find a "healthier" option to put on the rotation. Little Fig was the choice and so glad we chose to venture out the 40 degree weather. Will definitely be back. Ordered the chicken kebab platter. Came with beets, kale salad, 2 skewers of chicken and the hummus with the focaccia was delish. Will be back to try the other options as well. More...
The official place to take your girl when she says she dosent know what she wants. Tons of variety and great food from multiple vendors
Interesante lugar variedad de opciones para degustar. Precio medio.
Ate at the vietnamese place and food was good, also at the Mediterranean place which had compostable plates and utensils. Overall cool place to grab lunch.

The greatest place in New Orleans
Always fantastic and we stay at the Troubadour so it is too close to go anywhere else!!
Great set-up that reminds me of food halls in Norway. Currently has about 10 vendors to choose from. Park in the deck above the market for convenience.
The Nashville hot chicken was good but the Pho was better! Till next time Pythian Marke.
Pythian is a classy food court in and older building close to New Orleans City Hall. There's a wide variety of options: everything from areas to gumbo ya-ya to king cake. Clean and friendly.
# One of New Orleans Best food was great

Food court downtown Nola, cool atmosphere, great space!
So cool! There is a type of food for everyone - grilled cheese, Vietnamese, BBQ, soul food, Mexican, and a bar!
A interesting space with several vendors in a food court sitting. Several different options and includes a bar. For just having happy hour is outstanding.
I'm a fan! Many options to choose from and all the food is so different. Place is clean and the employees at the food bars were nice and helpful on choosing something to eat. I really like all the options. They also had a King Cake hub! Didn't get any because by the time i was done my La Cocinita arepas, i was super full. My only complaint was that the bartenders took forever to even look at you and they weren't that busy and we were kind of in a time crunch since we were headed to the Saengar for a play. Then after she took my order, she took her sweet time making the already made frozen drink. Drink was delicious, but speed it up! Thanks! More...
Okay Fete au Fete was SO good. I was looking for my Cajun fix and ordered the gumbo and cheese grits. Seriously the man that works there is so so nice! He even let me try beforehand. The portions are smaller but filling when you do pair it up. Overall awesome food hall, we had a group of 8 so it was convenient when it came to everyone's preferences. Lots of meat and veggie options with all the different vendors there. Family friendly too :) More...
Great food. Good prices. Friendly staff. Everything made from scratch with these vendors. Highly recommend
So many options in this market. I bought from 3 different places and all had great options and customer service. I will go again. Many had vegan options or could make changes to accommodate vegan and vegetarian customers. More...
Ok, fine, I'll tell you...I've been trying to keep this place my little secret for as long as I could but I cannot stop talking about it. SO, cats outta the bag. Pythian is where it's at. "A food hall for all" is the mantra, and they ain't lyin. No matter if you're in the mood for tacos, pizza, oysters, grilled cheese, coffee, sushi... I mean you name it, they've pretty much got it covered. Not to mention, a full bar and seating area loaded with televisions for sports. There is a happy hour, m-f 4-7pm on food as well as drinks. Check out the bar for happy hour special details. Another thing, the music in here has always been on point, whether live or play listed. Bottom line, it's a really cool place to go if you're looking for the best variety of food vendors, cool atmosphere and great service. Follow them on social media (IG: @pythianmarket) for mouth-watering photos and updates on events that'll have you wanting to drop in, for sure. More...
Great place with so many choices. I ate at Poulet and had the Greek Chicken Salad in a Sun dried tomato tortilla and it was very tasty and a nice size.
Out of the three food halls in the city, Pythian Market is the least visually appealing but has the best and most extensive food selection. There is a large cross section of folks who visit the market and it is a comfortable, welcoming environment. Facilities and tables are very clean and the staff is kind and attentive. More...
Great food and even better show!!
Really great place for food, drinks, and entertainment.
Nice trendy food place for tourists. You can get $2 street tacos, build your own salad, try the Mac and cheese balls, and lots of other stuff.
Every culinary taste in one location. A must for finicky, pickers eaters in a group. BBQ, Poke Bowls, Tacos, Cajun, Vietnamese, Jamaican, Vegan and most of all, a bar!
Great selection of delicious eats
Perfect place for group meals, so many great options, good happy hour deals on food and drinks
Basically a food truck food court. Lots of options. Good GF options
Really Good Atmosphere!!
Great set of restaurants. The only issue is that only one place serves alcoholic drinks so that can take some time.
I'm nice and fat cuz everything is so delicious!!
This is for Eat Well at Pythian Market. Got beef pho, brisket phoritto, and Vietnamese Iced Coffee. Did not disappoint! Broth is hearty and hot. The fatty brisket in the phoritto along with hoisin and sriracha is bomb diggity, and Vietnamese iced coffee is strong AF, so tasty and milk balanced it out well. I like how they use a simple POS interface and the tables/chair and plant decor is a nice touch. Quick no-frills pho place we stumbled upon near our hotel in NOLA. Pythian Market is a lovely little food court place with siverse food options, recommend for people who want to eat diff things together. More...
There was a great little jazz band playing while I was there. It added even more to the great atmosphere. I had a BBQ chicken po boy that was fantastic.
Great variety of food to choose from. The shrimp and grits were great. The Vietnamese coffee was decent, but came out of a jug rather than made fresh.
I came here with 504ward for their restaurant night and fell in love. The space is so bright and beautiful and super clean. We had about 10 things to try from all of the various vendors. Little Fig's hummus and tzatziki was good. Eat Well's egg rolls were good as well. We had mini poke bowls from Kais. They used super fresh ingredients. 14 Parishes provided jerk wings, which were SO good. They were flavorful and cooked well, not dried out. We had mini classic sliders from Frencheeze, which had Angus beef, sriracha, hoisin sauce, American cheese, and pickled onions. I picked the onions off because I don't like onions no way, no how. The slider was super good. The beef was moist and seasoned perfectly. I loved the hoisin sauce on it. I'd definitely order that again. The street tacos from La Cocinita were good as well. I had the pork and juice was dripping down my chin. I was not a big fan of the pimento cheese tots from Dirty South Sammich Co. I just didn't like the taste of the cheese. Fete Au Fete had shrimp and grits shooters, which were pretty good. Not the best shrimp and grits I've had but definitely not the worst. For dessert, Meribo Pizza provided cannolis, which were very yummy and refreshing. But now that those things are out of the way, I would like to tell you about the best part of the meal: the Brussels sprouts from Meribo Pizza. I could've eaten those alone and been satisfied. They are tossed in pepper jelly (like come on pepper jelly makes everything better) and pecans and topped with parmigiano reggiano. Everyone at the table was raving about them. I will definitely come back just to get them no matter the price. I took a couple of pics that I'll upload. I also have to mention Bar 1908. I had a nice sparkling wine that was complimentary with the 504ward deal. Then I went and ordered a "Last Word", which is gin, green chartreuse, and maraschino liqueur,. It was very light and refreshing and really perked me up. They had a very interesting drink menu. I certainly want to come back and try more of it. More...
Great place to go if you can't decide what type of food you are in the mood for! They have lots of different places with all sorts of options. I enjoyed the Molly grilled cheese that was offers here quite yummy! They also do have a cocktail bar area if you are in need of a refreshing drink with your meal! Lots of seating available and has a open feeling! More...
I had a bout of Deja Vu at Fete au Fete in Pythian Markets. It turns out I've been to one the St. Roche location and had the best poutine of my life. No wonder! The guy there let me have samples of everything and I ended up getting the trio plates, which included the the best shrimp and grits I've ever had, the most "NOLA" red beans and rice, and gumbo that I can eat any day of my life. The best thing was the shrimp and grits which I ate in mere seconds, and the guy there complimented me on eating so fast, that he gave me cornbread. The Pythian Market is the same type of food stand place you can find in NY, SF, or St. Roch's, but so is the price. I spent almost $20 for a quick meal, which was delicious, but with all good things, moderation must be taken into consideration. I will definitely be back since there's not many "quick food" options around. More...
I had been dying to try Pythian Market for months and was so excited to finally check it out before a saints game. Food halls/courts are popping up a lot these days and so far this has been my favorite experience. The decor inside feels warm, inviting and laid back. Also the signs and murals inside were done by a local nola woman owned business which makes me happy always. Even though it was Saints Sunday and very busy inside it was very well organized so we didn't have to wait long for drinks or food. As there were only 2 of us we couldn't really eat family style which I imagine is the best thing to do here with a group of friends. The pizza from Meribo was some of the best flavor bites I've ever had on a pizza. Seriously go try the ham and cheese. Hubby got a salad plate from lil fig and was full and satisfied (which I don't know if I've ever experienced before). So glad we finally got to try it and I know we will be back plenty more times. I love the food court trend that is hitting major foodie cities like New Orleans! I could literally stay here all day, the number of delicious looking dishes passing by my table was enough to make anyone's mouth water. We also stumbled in during Southern Decadence and a drag brunch and karaoke was happening. Brunch and a show? Amazing. And the queens were top notch! We specifically ate at Frencheez, Fete au Fete, and 1908 for drinks. But you'll find literally ANY cuisine you could possibly be craving with the 14 different vendors under one roof. I was extremely pleased with my Nola Trio Sampler that let you taste three New Orleans favorites: red beans and rice, shrimp and grits, and their famous (and fabulous!) Crawfish Poutine. The poutine was the clear winner, and I'll be dreaming of that dish until we visit again next year. The drinks at 1908 were expertly made, and my bloody mary was perfectly spicy. They even have virgin cocktails if you're not up for getting your drink on at the time. More...
Local jazz group plus quirky food kiosks but tasted good!
The Pythian Market was like a building that contained a food court....an amazing food court. There was something for just about every taste. We ate at a cajun or creole place. The name was Fete au fete streatery. The food was great! My son had a huge chicken biscuit and i had the shrimp and grits. My son went elsewhere for our coffee. More...
Pythian Market has it going on! Very neat concept - for an indecisive person like myself! This food hall has a variety of food stalls and it’s soooo perfect for me! I loved that I was able to enjoy Vietnamese, Japanese, and Latin food all in one sitting. (Don’t judge me )My husband and I were in the mood for different food items. We settled for Eat Well’s brisket phoritto and stuffed chicken wings. Hubby couldn’t stop raving over the phoritto - it’s traditional pho inside of a torilla wrap! It was definitely legit! While I was loving the idea of an eggrolls stuffing inside of boneless chicken wing! What the! Amazing! We also tried some beef tacos from La Cocinita. Very flavorful meat and the sauce was so good, I need more. Kai’s poke bowl was also great! The tuna was really fresh and I loveee edamame in my poke bowls! All in all, we would definitely be coming back for more and to try other vendors. More...
Great spot for street-style food!! Plenty of great places to choose from.
Do yourself a favor and hit the bar, then grab a pizza...
Like a food truck explosion.
Everything was delicious, so many choices.
Loved it. I ate at Fete Au Fete for dinner one night and breakfast the following morning. Quality food both times and fairly priced for the portions. The whole market has an awesome vibe and I hope it is successful. More...

Great place for everyone in the group large or small to get a bite or a drink!
Kind of trendy & expensive, but good food and lots of options
AWESOME food. Curry shrimp & the ginger drink was amazing
This was recommended by the concierge today. Great food hall with such a variety of options. We three ladies each went in totally opposite directions. Bahn Mi, Poke bowl, Pizza. There is a bar. And many other options for fare. Lots of seating. Will return when here in NOLA. More...

Came again for dinner. Saturday night at 830ish. Not too busy. Food came out fast. I again order from Cru. This time just the Louisiana Gulf oysters. Nice and fresh. I also tried the Trout dip. Good. Only gonna say that if you serving up oysters you should have enough cocktail sauce to go with it. We also tried Meribo, the pizza with honey and truffle...OMG. Sooo freaking great! And the Molly sandwich from Frencheeze. Awesome. Definitely going back for those. More...

Great variety of food. Love the atmosphere and its s great place to go with s big group of people.
I've been a few times and am a big fan! The market is within walking distance from my workplace. The layout is a typical "food hall" layout with a multitude of vendors. Pro Tip: There are water "stations" around the food hall so that patrons can pour themselves water. Over all, big and bright. I've had food from La Cocinita, 14 Parishes, Meribo Pizza, and Little Fig. More...
The atmosphere was excellent
Located in CBD, right next to the hotel we stayed at. They have several vendors inside the market, but it was a bit expensive. I have never been to any other market in NOLA, so I don't know how this compares against the other ones. We tried the Jerk Chicken plate and couple of fruit/vegetable smoothies. They were decent. This is such a great concept, especially for a family who just can't agree on what to eat. My daughter enjoyed some sliders and I opted for the Jamaican jerk chicken. She decided she wanted something other than fries with her sliders, so we visited a 3rd place for a suitable side. Everything we tried from every vendor was delicious and reasonably priced. This is definitely going to be my go-to when dining with the little one in this area. More...
Great foodcourt badly needed in the city. Diverse and a nice place to sit for an on the go meal. I recommend it.
The Jamaican food was amazing!!! So good!! And super friendly. I will be back.
This place is perfect for indecisive people. Tired of arguing with your significant other about were you should go for dinner? Bring them here and you can both make your own decision. This place has so many options. It's kind of like the food court at the mall, except much better food and not nearly as loud and crowded. There's pizza, Jamaican, Vietnamese, Poke (Hawaiian), American food, salads and healthy food, Cajun food, Mexican, etc. There's even a bar. Everything I've tried here has been delicious. This place has just become one of my go-to's. More...
