We went up for the clean air and cooler temperatures, as well as Brunch. Brunch was great at the Fork Service Awesome , my Snowbird Omelette was so good! ! We also hung out to hear the Band , they were great ( Brother Chunka) something like that Really good music mix!! The only thing that ruined it for me was the ignorance of people that had brought their Dogs to a Watershed area and Snowbird faculty did nothing about it . One was a small Yorky that the owner took potty a few times In the area below the plaza ( I appreciate you could miss that one) but the other was a large very Wet golden retriever the owners were running up the stairs by the elevator / grocery store area I just don't understand 1- Who the heck these people are that think it's okay to have their dog inside a public area 2- A dog in a Watershed area Wet no less from I am sure playing in our fresh Creek water
I am Shocked!! The canyon and Snowbird needs better bigger signs for the not so bright or just plain rotten folks and need to Enforce the Law!!! Other than that I Love Snowbird I am also a Dog owner of two Rescues but I know the places they can go and should not go.

Went in July. I see a lot of potential in the Summit Bar and Grill. It could be a beautiful sitdown restaurant and earn the $7 a slice pizza and $3. 50 diet Pepsi. But I guess since I was hypoxic and hungry I paid the $40 for the tram and $42 for me and my son to eat.
Good service and nice staff enjoyed talking to tram operator about the engineering and maintenance that goes into keeping the tram up and running and the 4 miles of cable that was replaced at $20 every four inches....$5,068,000 over 47 years since last replaced. Okay that's some overhead...fair price for food then.

Probably my favorite mountain ever. You have to be at least a very good skier to appreciate the mountain; it's steep, they get a ton of snow, and the riders there are not going to patiently wait for you to drop in - they will bomb past you. If you are good enough for the mountain, it may become your favorite too. More...

The best resort in Utah if you are looking to ski some steep terrain with quality snow and great people. Most of the staff are very friendly and are happy to help you out. The food is good and there are a variety of options especially with the updated Creekside Lodge. More...

If they didn't try so hard to get you to pay for lockers in the cliff lodge it would be all round perfection...steep and direct lines that will make you feel like Superman and while I find Alta gives a superior powder skiing experience the conditions are also pretty consistent. Most enjoyable on clear days.

I was afraid to go here at first because of everything I've heard about it. I was pleased when I finally went. I found out I not only could actually DO most of the terrain, but that I actually enjoyed the challenge!
If you are someone who really truly does enjoy snowboarding/skiing, you should not miss it.
Only four stars because it is quite pricey...

As a disabled skier, I was turned away from parking in the handicap stall, in order to provide parking for a "preferred," able body customer. As I stumbled and fell, trying to haul my adaptive equipment to the entrance gate near Gadzoom, the man in the truck that took the handicap stall, just watched me, as he was too busy talking on his cell phone to do anything to help. The attendant's response was they get preferred treatment, as they paid for a parking spot. My response, "you know we have our Vets coming home from Afghanistan, with their legs blown off that want to ski too!". The handicap signs are just for show just so they look like their complying with ADA. Last year I encountered the same thing, and I approached the lot attendant regarding this. His response, "first come, first serve!." Whether your able bodied or not, it's a free for all. More...

I love Snowbird! I've been skiing here all my life, and no other resort quite compares. Snowbird has a wide range of terrain, and almost always has great snow, even in bad snow years like we had this year.

While the skiing and resort itself is enough to merit the 5 stars, the real reason I'm writing this review is because of Snowbird's awesome Ski Patrol. I've injured my leg twice, once 10 years ago, and once last weekend. Both times, Ski Patrol was right there to help me. Mountain Safety was standing next to me within a few minutes, and then Ski Patrol arrived shortly after that. I appreciate their care, their professionalism, and their assistance in getting me down from the mountain and into the clinic.

Thank you!

Just moved to the area and it’s been a treat living so close to this resort. I love all the free music events. It’s a beautiful place, great hiking, about 15-20 degrees cooler than SLC in July. .. they’ve engendered a lot of goodwill from us this summer. Can’t wait to experience their winter season as well!
