Customer input, period.
The bottom line is the more customer input the better. We can build you anything you want, heck we can make unicorns and rainbows jump out of your screen if necessary! Obviously that's a stretch, but my point is, the closer we can work together the greater the outcome. At Profluent Media we call them the three F's: Function/Features/Flow

What do you love most about your job?
Technology is not going anywhere. As a matter of fact, it's only getting larger. This constant influx of new ways to "skin the cat" keeps us on our toes and is exciting to be around.
Working with clients to meet their needs and watching their satisfaction with the product we produced.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was looking for a change of industry. I was a mortgage broker for 2 decades and wanted to get into tech. I have been an entrepreneur my whole life and owned my own businesses since in my 20's.
