My husband and I got married in June at Proctor Farm, and I cannot even begin to say how happy I am that I was able to have my wedding at this venue. This venue is absolutely perfect in every way. Kathy and Michael Proctor helped make our day the most beautiful and special moment of our lives. They were so kind and so helpful every step of the way and anything we needed or wanted for the wedding, they made it happen. They are true professionals that genuinely care about your big day. We never once felt any stress because of how well everything was handled and planned down to the timing of the music. They even have things on-site that you can use for your wedding if you would like. The property itself is so beautiful that you really don't need to add anything. This venue offers a rustic, classic, romantic, and timeless feel to your wedding that your guests will love. Another thing I love about this venue is how everything you need is in one location, from the alter, to the reception hall, to the dance hall, everything is within a few steps from each other, and this makes it so easy on your guests, bridal party, and the bride and groom. You can choose from their outside venue (which we chose and it was amazing) or inside the gorgeous chapel. There is more than enough seating in both locations and both are equally beautiful for saying your I DO'S and for your pictures. Speaking of pictures, every place you stand on this property is picture-perfect. The land and structures on this property make for the most PERFECT wedding photos. I can honestly say not one thing went wrong on my wedding day. Everything ran so smooth, and my guests are still talking about how beautiful the venue was. There is no need to look further if you have seen this venue because trust me, this is the place you want to get married :) More...

The place is remarkable! Wide open view of the real place to have a wedding. It is a little hard to find but my Google maps put me right on the spot and a beautiful drive was an
added bonus.

We cannot say enough great things about Proctor Farm and Kathy and Michael Proctor. There is a reason they're in the wedding business and it's because they love it. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. They have put so much effort into it making it beautiful, unique, and meet the guest's needs and they are always working to make it even better. You can see their passion in their work on the venue and with their Bride and Groom. The venue is a one-stop shop. You have an outdoor ceremony site with pew seating, an indoor chapel (if that's more your style or if it rains), plenty of outdoor space for a cocktail hour/games, an indoor barn for dinner, and an indoor saloon for your band/DJ. Everything is covered should you need it due to weather (like we did). What I love too about this venue is how you have it for the week. You don't have to worry about working around another wedding for your rehearsal, set up, or break down. They have so many decor items you're free to use. You can bring some of your own items and use theirs to save a lot of money. They also have the setups for Bands and DJs. Our band didn't need to bring their full equipment saving us some money!Kathy is very responsive and helpful should you need it along the way. On the actual wedding day she is a complete rockstar. Kathy and Michael have a Team to help with any last minute setup, the details during the wedding, etc. Kathy is an awesome day of coordinator making sure everything that needs to be done and you want done is kept to the timeline and happens. After our ceremony it poured (started raining as we walked down the aisle)! But Kathy and Michael watched the radar to allow us to do everything we wanted outside like our pictures, entrance, first dance, etc. They are on their game and are complete pros!We would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a gorgeous ceremony site (outdoors or indoors), awesome reception site, and plenty of accommodations for their guests! We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding! Kathy was an exceptional planner. Her and Mike went above and beyond to insure we had the best day ever. It was a joy working with them both. We had NO STRESS and truly enjoyed our special day. Their one of a kind venue is exceptionally well thought out, with two ceremony sites and two reception dinner/party locations on site. Proctor farm has it all!! From Rock n' roll memorabilia to a gorgeous mountain drive, Proctor Farm is a once in a lifetime opportunity for hosts and guests alike. All inclusive, easy and fun! The owners' care shines through in all they do. More...

Absolutely beautiful! I do wish there was a bit of cell service, but I guess it is fun to see what the 90's were like.

Last Saturday night Haley Benefield was married at one of the most beautiful wedding venues we have ever seen. The owners, Michael and Kathy Proctor are two of the most wonderful people we have ever had the priviledge of meeting. Their facility was nothing short of perfect. Everything was delightful , organized and simply beautiful. We highly recommend Proctor Farms to anyone anticipating an event in the upcoming future. You won't be disappointed! This place was so obviously created by folks who love weddings. All of the venues are picturesque storybooks designed for each moment in the wedding party's big day.
To top it off, the Proctors themselves are matchless hosts who will go the extra 10 miles to ensure perfection. You will not be disappointed!
Now, anyone can critique a place. Opinions! Each venue has it's own unique characteristics and peculiarities. No one should expect 100% under all circumstances. Weather, 3rd-party vendors, variable guest behaviors. Think of the pressure involved -- week after week -- in attaining a perfect ceremony and reception. Again, hats off to the Proctors. If there was any wishlist upgrades or sidegrades, it would be replacing the fine gravel paths with something a bit more friendly to formal shoes and heels, and put a couple more hard paths between the chapel walkway and the lower path between reception and dance halls. I would also ensure mass transportation drivers have close and well-lit access to the reception/dance area so elderly ladies aren't walking up a gravel hill in the dark. That's it, though! The rest is awesome.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
