I really cannot say enough about the competence and professionalism of this company. And I know about this kind of work - my father owned an extermination company back in the day. Preferred, and specifically Glenn, has gone above and beyond in both my home and my daughter's for the bothersome pest problems we had. They stand behind their work, document their findings, and charge fairly. I had a major problem of ants. Jose came for the first treatment. There were stil ants after the first treatment. He came back for a second treatment. Jose was extremely nice. After the second treatment I still had ants  in few areas. Without hesitation the supervisor came and inspected the house and decided to do a third treatment. I have only seen ants in one specific area since then and I am not worried that if I see them within the next week they will come back and take care of the problem. You can trust this company!! Okay everyone.  For anyone who has ever been in a dilemma. I called a couple of places for an estimate on getting my house tented. I would say there's always a combination of different variables that will affect your estimate. Especially when you're a girl. Like going to mechanic getting an estimate. To get your house tented basically puts you in the same situation of being ripped off. But this morning I decided to get one last estimate from a different company and was surprisingly overjoyed to be able to speak to someone who was knowledgeable, sweet, understanding, and has an amazing sense of humor. And her name is Marcy. I told her the situation I was in and that I needed to have my house tented as soon as possible prior to my 91-year-old grandmother coming home to visit. Marcy went above and beyond to get her husband Ron to come out the same day to inspect the house. And what surprised me the most was that Ron was not someone who just saw dollar signs when he saw me. He was someone that was patient, understanding, and answered all the questions I had and wasn't someone who had 1 foot out the door looking forward to going to his next appointment and getting a new estimate so that they can make more money. They were more oriented towards customer service and making sure that the family is getting the correct treatment and care and at a very reasonable price. They have save my family thousands of dollars compared to other company!!! It was amazing!!! I was speechless!!! The person I spoke to on the phone was able to schedule us very fast.  The technician Glenn was great, very through and spent extra time letting us know what to watch for and how to continue maintaining the space to keep it bug free as much as we can.  They also came back within one month because there were still bugs left after 2 weeks.  The 2nd technician that arrived was not as nice as the first, very quick and not very friendly.  The chemical itself is okay, we were still having alot of ants and spiders, but that is expected with the yard.  however we were also having quite a few spiders even immediately after they sprayed.  I liked them, but I think I have to look elsewhere for the permanent service. I really like Preferred Pest control. I appreciate that I always get a reminder call the day before and then, the tech calls before coming the day of treatment. Our tech Brian Bleeker reflects the customer service of the company. He remembered or had in his notes that we have a turtle. "Did I know if turtle was out in garden?" I totally forgot! I knew from the moment I called this company it was going to be a good experience. The woman on the phone explained what the service included and she was very professional. This service was for my mom's house and also was going to include a termite inspection. The owner of the company, Ron actually was the one doing the termite inspection; he was great. He did a good job explaining things and in my opinion really made the appointment more enjoyable...yes that probably sounds weird considering it was a termite inspection. I would recommend this company due to the fact that the owner came out for an inspection and not only checked for termites but also made sure the other guy who was there spraying for bugs was doing his job the proper way. This was the forth time I have had Preferred out to our Old Tustin house over the past two years.  Each time I am greeted by an extremely experienced technician who is very articulate and professional in how he goes about doing his job.  Today, Leo was every part of that and more!!  He did a thorough inspection of our home to determine where the rodents are gaining access to our structure.  He provided several solutions to help  eliminate our problem one of which involved a temporary maintenance program which we are considering.  I highly recommend Preferred for any  pest problems your encountering. I've had ants and spiders invade my house for over 2 years now And one day it got so bad I had enough. With one call to Preferred Pest Control, I had an appointment set up on the same day. They even offer a 30 day warranty in case the pests come back within the 30 day period. Andy was the pest control technician who showed up at my house. He was very respectful and was kind of enough to put on shoe protectors so that he wouldn't get my carpet dirty. He walked me through the process and I was just very impressed with his customer service. Its been three weeks since the treatment and i havent seen a single ant or spider. I was so impressed that i decided to go on an on-going maintenance to prevent future pests from invading my home and i feel I can trust Preferred to get rid of any pest problems.I highly recommend going with Preferred!! Today Andy came out to spray for carpet beetles. I'm so thankful that Maribel could schedule my treatment today. Andy was very nice, helpful and professional. Thank you Andy! The last month of dealing with carpet beetles has left me exhausted. I vacuumed every other day at the least and sometimes daily...ugh... I called two pest companies for termites and Preferred Pest Control Orange County was one of them. Both of them offered a free inspection. We told both of the inspectors that the termites had been seen in our bathtub from the fan above, indicating that they were up in the attic. Winged creatures. However the inspector of the other company never checked the attic. But Preferred sent a young man named Andrew. He was so polite and kept saying, "Yes maam" and "No maam". He was careful to put on shoe covers before entering the house and went straight to the attic. In just a short time he had come back down and told me that he had found the colony and that only a wood poisoning treatment was needed. His quote of cost was about $200 cheaper than the other company. We decided to go with Preferred and again Andrew came out and did the work and he was efficient and polite again. I was very impressed with him. I can't really tell you if it worked becuz I don't go up into that nasty attic. Hopefully we won't see any termites. If we do I will give an update but so far so good and their service was excellent! More...
