Regular goto. The best (i.e. authentic) poke I've had so far in the city

Interesting dishes with clearly uncommon Hawaiian influence. Tastes amazing. The pork belly is to die for. A little on the pricey side though. The line can get long so try to avoid peak lunchtime if you can. More...

Food was good. Reminded me of when I lived in Hawaii. Love plate lunch. Menu is small but good. Reasonable prices.

I got the fried chicken meal and let me tell you, this place is such good comfort food. The macaroni salad is a perfect addition to the chicken and rice. Even when it's 30 degrees out, eating food from here reminds me of summer. More...

Poi Dog is an very interesting, kind of hidden little spot that is well worth seeking out. It is not often that you find a restaurant around doing Hawaii food, and they have a lot of classic and great stuff here, like poke bowls, spam musubi, and more! The menu is very reasonably priced, and because there are a lot of smaller plate type times, you could easily stop in for just a snack or a full meal. All of the staff were friendly and the service we experienced was great. There is a moderate amount of seating inside the restaurant, but it is order at the counter. We will definitely stop back in when we are in the neighborhood. More...

Great place for Mochi Nori fried chicken. It comes with a Mac n cheese salad, cabbage and 2 rice balls. It was delicious.
There are around 5 tables each seating 2 persons and 2 counters that can sit 4 persons.

The variety of food combine the home style feeling of big platters, and the "modern" trend of poke. The food varies from fishy fresh to filling fears and is a great stop to visit if you're looking for a quick bite or something more satisfying. The chef is always willing to talk to people. As a non Philly native he really have me ideas and places to start. Really a great place overall. More...

Oh my!! This took me back to all those delicious little diners and eateries around Hawaii with the amazing loco moco! I had been craving L&L, at the very least, for so long and to find a place with such delicious flavors and authentic feel made it all the better. The servings were a good size and the lunch platter offers the chance for a variety of Hawaiian staples to find the flavors you want most. More...

I got a regular poke bowl with spicy tuna and the salmon (forgot the name). It was quite filling and the fish was really fresh! ! I'm mainly making a review because of the exceptional service I had here. It was my first time, so I had a lot of questions yet the cashier was so patient and gave us recommendations. He was just really genuinely kind and brought us soy sauce, utensils, and our food even when this place is self served. More...

I'd rank Poi Dog 6 stars out of 5 if I could! My girlfriend and I got the plate lunch combo, 2 for $10, and an ahi poke bowl. It was more than enough for us, and the Kalua Pig and cabbage and the fried chicken were OUT OF THIS WORLD! She's from Hawaii so she's tough on Hawaiian food, but Poi Dog was amazing. We can't wait to come back. The desserts were amazing too! More...

I have always been a big fan of the snack cart, but I couldn't always catch up with their schedule so I was thrilled when I heard they were opening a restaurant. Such a fresh space with great hand painting on the floor. They have some my favorites such as the plate lunch with the fried chicken, kalua pork, etc, but now they also serve other Hawaiian specialties and their tuna poke all the time. Everything was delicious as always and I snagged a t-shirt! More...
