This is an excellent Psychiatry Clinic. Without getting too personal, I will say that I have gotten the help I really needed due to the professional, skilled, and attentive staff. My provider really listens to me and I feel that he cares about his patient's well-being. I have recommended several friends and family members to my provider and they have had excellent experiences as well. The specific psychiatrist I see is Gerard Balan Jr. I highly recommend him because he listens to his patient's concerns and makes his assessments and adjustments with absolutely excellent professional skill, while being kind-hearted and friendly. Dr. Sokeye & the ASD Skills group has changed my sons entire life. My son is now a thriving teenager, playing high school hockey, baseball, & soccer. His IEP has also changed to better fit his educational needs, as he is excelling in all mainstream HS classes. Best of all he has friends, & is maintaining social relationships, as well as my non-ASD child in the same grade. Our family is very happy & so grateful! I had a mental health crisis over a weekend and was treated poorly by ER staff at two different hospitals and told to contact a primary care provider on Monday. My family called several places and no one would see me. When they called here the receptionist listened to our whole story and got me an appt within 3 hours. I saw Gerard and he was wonderful, respectful, and honest. He came up with a plan for me for immediate relief of my situation as well as follow-up plan. Thank you so much to this clinic. This has been one of the best choices I have made for my mental health. This group goes above and beyond in caring and reaching out to work with each individual. They actually care about each person seen which is evident by the follow up and calls I received when switching my medications. They went above and beyond to help me have my insurance pay for what I needed with multiple letters and phone calls that had to be written to get my insurance to cover my name brand medication. And with a attitude of caring and respect towards me. This is the old fashion care that our grandparents received . I highly recommend this group. More...

Plymouth Psyche Group’s psychiatrist and team of therapists are experienced, insightful, knowledgeable, and caring. We couldn’t ask for a better environment for our daughter. They’ve proved several times over that they know what they’re doing. And although we are hyperviligant with our daughter’s care needs, we’ve learned to trust them implicitly to do what they do best. My son has ASD & ADHD, he has been around the block in MN for treatment. He completed Plymouth psych group's IOP program last year. The life skills he was taught @PPG are genuine & real life usable social skills. His growth is tremendous, especially socially. He started 9th grade this fall, he has friends, & meaningful relationships. His grades are great & he just made the high school hockey team.
