I don't know why there are a few negative reviews. This place is delicious! I ordered the swarma fries and my hubby had the beef rice bowl. The dressing on the rice bowl is fantastic. My fries were piping hot when they came to the table. The garlic sauce isn't too garlicky. The pita chips are addictive as others have said. My hubby doesn't normally like pita chips but he loved these. They are a bit expensive but not much more expensive than chipotle. I do have to agree with the other reviewer about the location. This place would be better closer to down town or even Mooney. But man, the food was yummy. We are definitely coming back. More...

Pretty decent Mediterranean food. I liked the set-up and decor of the place,  very modern. I ordered the gyro wrap. I thought it was a little undersized but compared to what i pay at my usual place this is a good deal. The meat was flavorful and the pita it was served in was nice and fluffy.  I did find it to be a little on the dry side even with the Tzatziki sauce. I ordered the cilantro-jalapeño hummus as my side and that was really tasty. I actually was dipping my wrap in the hummus and it was a nice compliment. The hummus is slightly spicy, the kind that slowly builds as you keep eating. The service here was quick and all the staff were very friendly. My colleague orders the burger special of the day and he thought it was really good, even though it was a mix of lamb and beef and he doesn't think he likes lamb. This is one of absolutely go-to places in Visalia. Great Food. Fantastic beer selection. Amazing service. Not only that, but you can get some of the beer they have on tap in cans and take it home! First time eating here and I was amazed with the food and service. We were seated by the general manager which had great customer service. He was able to explain the flavors and give us his very insightful recommendations. I loved the cleanliness and atmosphere.. staff was friendly and prompt. The food was delicious! We started off with an appetizer (shawarma fries) they had just the right amount of flavorful heat. I loved the fact that they give a good amount of food. First time coming in here, so I ordered the Original PK Burger with the lulu patty and the jalapeno hummus. Best hand crafted burger I've ever had in my life, and I definitely be a returning customer. Very friendly and helpful staff at the front counter,and clean place with outdoor seating if you'd like. WOW!! Here on business and was lucky enough to find this gem on Yelp. For a Wednesday it was as busy as can be with people waiting for tables. Mind you it was 103 outside so not many opted for the outside area lol I asked our waitress what she recommended and one of her fav's was the shawarma chicken fries. Food great service sucks at times. Not sure why some of the servers have a chip on their shoulder, but it seems to be truly hit and miss to get good service. The beer selection is superb and matches the quality of the food. The dolmas have seemed to be a hit and miss item too. The old PK always had consistently great dolmas, but now they just don't taste the same. I truly love the jalapeño hummus and fried cauliflower! Those are two of my favorite items either for a side or to share. Getting one of the meat plates is a must if you are trying this place for the first time. A selection of the beef, pork, lamb, or other meats gives you a great base to find what you may like from this Mediterranean spot. Ending the meal wouldn't be sufficient without a helping of baklava! The dessert here is phenomenal and worth saving a little room for. I truly hope the service gets better, you can have shitty service and great food that overall gives you a bad experience. More...

So good!! We stopped in after going to the national park and damn I am glad we did! We got the shawarma fries for the table and even my picky 7 year old loved them and she can't handle spice (she ate towards the bottom). I got the Jerusalem falafel wrap and it was so beyond fantastic! Nobody left hungry and we had enough leftovers to have lunch tomorrow!! The service was amazing and food came out pretty quick. We dropped for the Monday special a pita wrap for $6. We place our order for the two wraps, and two soft drinks. It was a bit crowded inside, but were able to find a seat. They did have open outdoor seating available, but it's too hot this time of the year. We had to wait about 15 minutes to get the wraps we ordered, but considering how busy it was that wasn't a long wait. My pita wrap was made with marinated chicken and vegetables. I have never been a big pita fan however this pita was fantastic. The flavor of the chicken mixed with vegetables and Mediterranean sauce made the wrap very tasty. The restaurant atmosphere combined with the good customer service made our lunch very enjoyable. Pita Kabobs is not fast food, it's a cut above so it's worth the wait. More...

What a find! Delicious Mediterranean food and an excellent beer selection! They have Old Rasputin, one of my favorite Imperial Stouts, on tap! It's smoother and even easier to drink from the tap. My husband and I love Lebanese food. We can't find much of it where we live now so we were thrilled to see a place that was near our hotel so highly recommended here on Yelp! For a primarily takeout place, it feels like fine dining sit down service. Each person behind the counter was very knowledgeable about the menu and the ingredients in each dish. They pointed me in the right direction so I could avoid any allergy issues and even offered to modify an existing dish so I could eat it. (Please note there is informalsit down and delivery service)Get the fried artichokes if you are here with at least one other person. It is a huge portion and is expertly prepared. Crispy with a touch of lemon. So good. I had a chicken kabob. It was nicely spiced and served with a tasty garlic sauce. They have me sliced cucumbers in lieu of the peppers. Definitely one of my favorites in downtown Visalia!  Their food is amazing some of the best lamb I've had locally!  My close friend is a Vegan and they are one of the few places that off a lot of very yummy vegan options!  They always have a long list of fun beer choices and their wine list has improved a lot over the past year!  All of that being said my favorite part of this place is the patio dinning area!  Ambiance is amazing it is quieter than inside and I just love it out there! My family and I haven't eaten a single snack or meal  for nearly 10 hours during our road trip. With a grumpy wife and annoying kids we were anxious to find a place to eat. Our search proved to be very difficult due to the fact that it was very late, most restaurants were closed and we were in the middle of nowhere during our road trip. We finally reached a charming and please take town called Visalia. We found this Mediterranean restaurant and decide to give it a chance. Our search proved to be worth it wait! Even though they were about to the close the kitchen in 16 minutes they still decided to serve us. The cashier by the name of Robert was great. The service was nice and patient. With the time that kitchen was given they still managed to serve a fucking great meal. Even thought it is not Mediterranean, the 100% beef burger is to die for.
