Pioneer was a successful part of my life. Of course there is the ruckus from those who aren't truly trying but for the ones who are trying to get back on their feet or on their feet for the first time it is a successful program. I have been with Pioneer for over 5 years. I worked my way from the bottom to near the top and still climbing. Pioneer is what you make it. Nobody is going to hand you anything. They want you to work for it and show your commitment to making a change. Believe me when I say they have all the tools sitting there for you. You just have to reach out and grab them. They assist in all aspects of life. They have 1 specific person designated to help with any issues you may run into outside of work. They provide counseling, life insurance even a first time home buyers benefit. It saddens me when people give Pioneer a bad review. They saved my l life, gave my children a real mother, and have helped me grow tremendously in these five years. I am more than proud to say Pioneer is my second family. You do not hear it enough. There is such a need for this type of assistance! Have you ever been in a situation in your past that just seems to follow you throughout your life no matter what it may be? Examples include arrest, financial issues, or housing not being able to pay rent..It seems even years later it pops up preventing you from a loan, renting a home etc..Imagine what some of these clients must endure on a daily basis after making that personal decision to start over no matter the costs..the social stigma, trying to find employment(almost impossible) and just trying to find shelter for themselves and the kids!! If there are health issues on top of all this its virtually impossible to find help! They are discouraged, disappointed, frustrated and really don't know which way to turn...that's where Pioneer Human Services come in..They allow these people at their worst somewhere to turn and a starting place for assistance and resources. Please remember each and everyone of them this Holiday Season and every day of the year! More...
