I was looking for a salon in the area to donate my hair, and this salon popped up for me on Google. I had never heard of it, but was so happy I chose to go here. The salon and everyone that works there is so knowledgeable about the hair donation process and they actually work with two different hair donation organizations. The salon is gorgeous inside and everyone was extremely friendly. Nicole cut my hair and she was the sweetest! I'd highly recommend for anyone looking for a salon or place to donate their hair. My good friend April recommended this salon to me when I was looking for a friendly neighborhood small business to support. She has been going there for years and has always been really happy with the work they do there. I can honestly say that I 100% understand why she keeps going back.First of all, everyone who works there is so sweet and friendly. They greet you when you come in and offer you a beverage and snack - they literally have bottles of wine, soda, coffee, water, a handle of Tito's, anything you might want there for your consumption. The salon itself is modern and well-kept. I forgot to check which shampoo/conditioning products they use but they smelled incredible and I wanted to just keep getting my hair washed over and over again :)On to the hair! Bridget did my balayage, and she did an incredible job. I have naturally light brown hair and I was looking for a honey blonde/caramel balayage. Given that I know nothing about hair, I showed her a few pictures of styles I liked and she brought over a whole board with different shades to get a better idea of the shades I liked. She used two different colors and made my fine hair look fuller with her method. Honestly, so impressed!!Then, Nicole cut my hair. I wasn't looking for anything super elaborate because I need to keep it at a length where I can pull it back for work. All I wanted was a trim and some face-framing layers and lazy layers in the back. She worked with me to figure out the best length and create the most lift and best display of the balayage with my new do. She gave my hair a nice curl at the end and I couldn't be happier!I loved the ambiance of the salon, the staff, and the work that they did. My worst fear when I walk into a salon is that they won't listen to what I actually want done and it won't turn out the way I imagined, but Pilorum does an amazing job... seriously! More...

Going to Pilorum is a treat!  From the minute you walk in Neil treats you like the Queen that you are.  The place is beautiful, and everybody is friendly.  I love Teresa (don't worry not in a weird way).  Most stylists can cut hair so they can make it look good, Teresa cuts my hair so even tho I get up about 30 minutes before I need to be at work, and I was born with 2 left hands, I still can fix my own hair. Teresa also took the time to help me pick out a new hair color, and it came out perfect.  Thank you Teresa! and remember, you may not be able to change your life, but you can change your hair. I was referred to Pilorum by a friend when I wanted to start transitioning to grey. Not only did Maggie and her team accommodate a FaceTime consultation, they were honest about what was and was not possible for my hair. I’ve never had such a consultative experience. What was originally going to simply be a 45 minute strand test turned into a nearly five hour experience that was fantastic from start to finish. This is a long overdue review. This place is amazing! Everyone here is super friendly. I wanted to donate my hair for Children with Hair Loss and Pilorum was one of the names that came up. Neil, one of the owners, was very nice and was able to squeeze me in. Maggie, the owner as well, and Caitlin helped with cutting my hair. They were both super nice and made me feel welcomed. They did an amazing job. I loved how Maggie asked a few simple questions in order to cut my hair the way that I wanted and still be able to get the appropriate hair length for donation. Caitlin washed my hair with their hair products; she did a really good hair massage that I wanted to sleep lol. I would definitely come back to get my hair done!Besides the staff being awesome, they have complimentary drinks, tea and coffee. The salon looks very bright and open. Absolutely amazing customer service!!! I was impressed from the second I walked in. Neil and Maggie the owners are so hospitable and you can tell they truly care about making their customers happy and satisfied. Honestly, I haven't experienced this good of customer service ever, they are so friendly they make you feel comfortable and relaxed. My daughter was looking for a place to donate her hair.  She's been growing it for a few years and it's finally at the 12" mark.  I went online and found out that Pilorum Salon was an ambassador salon.  We walked in and my expectations were blown away! This salon is truly outstanding. I came in to do a hair donation for Wigs For Kids, and my experience was truly amazing. I've been donating my hair the past 10 years and have used many salons in three different states- none have made the experience as comfortable or wonderful as Pilorum has. Let me break it down:1. Getting an appointment: I was in a time crunch as I was leaving town the next evening. The decision to cut my hair was a last minute impulse (as usual for me when donating). I called and Neil was so kind, professional and caring. He was ecstatic about me wanting to donate and somehow managed to squeeze me in the very next morning. 2. Salon atmosphere: Pilorum does a bang-on job of keeping a professional yet warm and caring environment while still feeling fancy and luxurious. They took my coat, offered me beverages and snacks and really made me feel so welcome. 3. The hair cut: My stylist was Nicole, she walked me through every step of the process, and asked to document my before and after. After cutting the length, she listened carefully to what I wanted and during the haircut consulted me on if I wanted parts shorter/longer etc. While finishing up, more customers came in (for coloring appointments) and overhearing conversations between clients and other stylists, it is clear that stylists are well versed in coloring, care about the health of their clients hair and don't promise impossible transformations. What a great salon! I was really needing a whole style refresh and I have been hearing great things about Pilorum through the grapevine. I was paired with Nicole after speaking with Neil. (I love his passion and sense of humor!) I was made to feel welcome as soon as I arrived.Nicole is a former Tricoci University instructor who totally knows her stuff. Took my daughter for her amazing transformation and donation to wigs for kids! Nicole was fantastic and the entire experience was wonderful. I am so proud of my daughter for donating over 12 inches of her hair but more than anything the entire salon made it so comfortable for her during this huge change! Once again my work travel brings me to another amazing salon! I can't help myself when traveling to treat myself to a blowout. ..since hair salons are usually pretty friendly places it's helps ward off the loneliness of work trips...so let me tell you Pilorum Salon did not disappoint!! I went to Pilorum Salon and Spa to get a mini facial. First thing I noticed was how friendly everyone was, i automatically felt comfortable! Then I was taken by Eleonora, to do my facial, she was AMAZING, she did such a wonderful job, plus she was honest, she didn't try to upsell me to other services, she told me my problem areas, and recommend 2 products that would be helpful,but she was not pushy at all. I drove all the way from Michigan to get my hair done at Pilorum Salon & Spa. Stephanie was the hairstylist who did my hair. She did this awesome thing called color melt and she gave me a stylist hair cut. This place is so friendly from the moment you walk in the door you are greeted by its owners Maggie & Neil, to the moment you leave. This salon is amazing! It is beautiful inside and the staff is wonderful. So friendly and talented. I recently got married and got ready at Pilorum. Maggie, the owner, was so easy to work with and made it such a fun and stress free environment. Not to mention she did an amazing job on my hair! The space was perfect and there was plenty of space for all 12 of my bridesmaids and me. The other stylist, Angelica, did an amazing job on my bridesmaids hair! Maggie has been cutting my hair for several years, so when she opened her own salon I switched over. She does an excellent job with my hair every time (my wife can attest to this, since I used to get $8 haircuts! ) and I love her new salon. The decor is amazing, and the free snacks (and free wine after 5PM!) are a plus. Definitely recommend checking out her salon if you need a new hair stylist, or one of the many other services they offer. More...

Absolutely amazing experience here!

I recently went in for the very first time for a trim and color. Not only did I leave looking beautiful and completely satisfied the whole experience was enjoyable!

The whole staff is courteous and kind. They kept asking if they could get me anything (coffee, water, snacks) and they actually took time to get to know me as a person.
The decor is gorgeous and a lot of personal touch added in. The salon itself is immaculate.

Maggie did my hair and what meant a lot to me is that she actually sat down and talked to me about what I wanted. She explained the process to me and assured me I would be well taken care of.

I was also on a time crunch, and she completely respected that and got me out in time!

My whole experience was very enjoyable and as a mom who doesn’t get out much it was so nice to have “adult” conversation.


If you come here you will leave with much more than an amazing color/cut but a new favorite salon that feels like family! More...

After so many years of getting my hair colored and cut, I FINALLY genuinely love my hair. Thank you Maggie! She is born to do hair. Everyone here is so kind. I came to see Eleonora for a cleansing facial & it was a world of difference, we both wished we had a before/after pic! I booked again with her for a hydra facial 2 weeks later & I loved my skin again. I decided to get my hair trimmed by Eleonora as well, because I like the idea of face/hair being done by the same stylist/consultant. I was so happy with her service that I immediately asked for eye brow threading & she threw in a complimentary tint- STUNNING! She did such a good job!!!
