This is a great place to go for great pasta and Italian dishes. We were a bit confused about where to sit and no one seated us right away. However when they noticed that we were waiting they sat us down immediately. The food was great. I had the lasagna which was incredible. The rest of my party ordered pasta and a flatbread. We ate here once when visiting Natchez last weekend.I had the shrimp Alfredo, Wife "Lali" had Caesar salad with grilled shrimp.Both were OK, as expected.  Tea & wine were fine.  Parking on street, wasn't a problem for us.  Old building, old decor, comfortable but unimpressive.  Nice waitstaff.We liked it overall, would go back.  Can be crowded at peak times.Rick More...

So... this place was suggested by some friends who are locals, and I'm glad I visited! First- it's hard to find a good dry rosé in Natchez, but they've got it here! Also- I ordered the chicken parm, and I swear it was the best I've had. The sauce was super flavorful with a kick of heat, and the chicken was perfect. Honestly I have no complaints. We go to Natchez regularly, so I couldn't believe we've waited this long to try Pearl Street Pasta. We entered the restaurant and were greeted immediately.  The décor had a rustic, eclectic vibe that we both really liked.  There is a full bar if that is something that you are interested in as well.  We came at lunch time, and they had some really nice lunch specials at very reasonable prices.  I ended up ordering the Chicken Piccata.  The portions were HUGE, so you really get your monies worth.  The Chicken Piccata was tasty, and I was very pleased.  My husband also enjoyed his meal as well, and we both said we will definitely have to add this to our regular stops when in Natchez.I highly recommend you give them a try! Stopped in here because the yelps reviews looked good. I started with the ceasar salad, which was great. The greens were not trash pieces, only the best. The croutons are hand made in house. It had been years since I'd been to Pearl Street Pasta.  To be honest, the only thing I remembered about it was the house salad dressing. We stopped in Saturday for lunch.  I ordered the Cajun shrimp pasta and my hubby had the lasagna.  Both meals came with a salad, and the dressing was even better than I remembered it.  My pasta was spicy and delicious.  I'm leery about ordering seafood when I'm not on the coast, but I was very pleased with the shrimp.  The portion was so large that I couldn't finish it. The lasagna my hubs got was easily enough for two people.  He hasn't stopped talking about how much he enjoyed it. The service was great and the food was hot and fresh. The prices were a real bargain as well.  I think we both ate for about $30.  Before leaving, I made sure to buy a bottle of the salad dressing to bring home with me.  It's only $8 a bottle and we'll worth it! The Bread Pudding melts in your mouth it was that good it did not have a rum or cream sauce that I have come to associate with bread puddings this I want to say has a praline taste to it but anyway it is to die for it is that good and better. When I was first invited to meet a friend at this restaurant, I was naturally hesitant. How in Mississippi could Italian Food compare to the bright lights, big city that I hailed from. My concern was immediately eased the moment I walked through the door. Their staff was professional, welcoming, and well dressed -- and quickly got me to my table. The vaulted open-beam ceiling allowed high brick wall interior to lend warmth and character to the non-crowded dining area and well-appointed bar.When handed the menu -- my eyes immediately leapt to the Salmon Salad with Goat Cheese -- but then flashed over to the lasagne. Which should I choose? Oh, hell! My wife and I ordered both -- and since the portions were large, we split them evenly and, with the aid of a bottle of nice Chianti and a side of steamed vegetables. Perhaps fava beans, I cannot remember. We decided to expand our waistlines a bit -- split an order of their tiramisu -- sipped a glass of their desert wine (Orange Muscat)? My wife and I have travelled the world, and dined at some very upscale establishments from NYC to London to Bad Durkheim to Melbourne -- and I found Pearl Street Pasta to be exceptional! The only thing missing was a white-jacketed maitre d' writing his hands and commanding about the staff -- which was, as you can guess, appreciated. A+! And we will be back! :) More...

MIxed review, let's start with the good: I had a Caesar Salad to start, and my entree' was the Jambalaya Pasta. Both were excellent...the romaine in the salad was fresh and crisp, the dressing wasn't overpowering, and there was a generous amount of cheese and croutons. The pasta was phenomenal; filled with shrimp,prosciutto and sausage and a very delicious cream sauce. Be warned, it can be quite spicy at times. Ample portion size too, and it included a rustic looking piece of garlic bread.The part of the night I had a problem with, was the greeting and the indifferent service. I entered what I took as the front door, the address listed as 105 S. Pearl. There was a maitre'd station, and one couple at a table. Lots of noise from the other section, the room with the bar, but there was no one to greet me, or anyone sticking their head around the corner to see if anyone walked in (I arrived at 7:45pm, against a 9:00pm posted closing time)A bus boy actually saw me first, and alerted the wait staff. I was shown to a two person table near the rear of the room. While the food was excellent, I can't say the same for the service...it was technically fine, but there was a lot to be desired in the warm and welcoming department. It was it I'd arrived at 8:45 instead of an hour earlier.Don't know that I'll ever be back in Natchez, I'd be willing to revisit and see if my experience was isolated. But it was just one stop on a road trip between Dothan AL and my home in Dallas. Great food...excellent. Nice atmosphere, only slightly dulled by indifferent service. And not just from the waitress who took my order and filled my water glass, but the person who the busboy snagged to let her know there was someone waiting to be seated. More...

This place is so good, y'all! Pro tip here: get the house dressing. In bulk if you can lol. It's a tangy, sweet vinaigrette and everyone agrees it's the best! My favorite dishes are shrimp primavera cooked in chicken broth and the cajun pasta. " Very Good Lunch "My wife and I went to the Pearl Street Pasta Restaurant and had a lunch. We ordered the Spaghetti with Meatball with classic marinara with house made meatball. I like this place.  The wait staff was very courteous.  The girl who made my Long Island didn't make it right.  Another bartender grabbed it from me before I could even taste it.  She corrected it and it was good.  Then she proceed to show the other 2 girls how to make a couple other drinks.  I like that she was helping them instead of berating them.  Team work makes the dream work.  And since they were on the clock, they let me taste them.  Bonus!Pasta was good.  Potato soup was too salty!  Couldn't eat it. Pearl Street Pasta deserves alllll the stars. Incredible food, to die for dessert and incredible staff. I could not have been more impressed. Came here as part of a large group, which had been a problem for the restaurant the night before to keep up with in terms of drinks and when to bring the courses out. Not one issue here! Immediately after sitting down I had my drink order taken and a drink in my hand within a minute or two. LOVED their take on bruschetta as an app, and the people around me loved the calamari. When ordering, the waitress was very accommodating as I'm the only vegetarian in the group and thus the only one not ordering from the set menu. Dinner didn't take too long at all to come out, although the flighting was weird, as some tables were served MUCH more quickly than others for both mains and dessert. I had the fettuccine Alfredo and it was perfect! Great creamy sauce and a huge serving. The best part of the night and the thing I've been raving about all week is the sea salted caramel cheesecake. Super rich, probably not possible to finish on your own, but also probably the single best cheesecake I've had in my life. I'm going back tonight to get more before I leave town. I'm so glad I decided to come here. A cozy, dimly restaurant with some interesting offerings for an Italian restaurant in Natchez. I went with the prosciutto-wrapped veal filet with sherry cream sauce. It was fantastic, as was the grilled veggie medley and risotto. Tons of flavor, including the house salad and  dressing. I was pleasantly surprised when the waitress made up for the horrible hostesses with an outstanding, thorough, & cheerful job. She was so sweet & prompt. We enjoyed or meals - both had salad and Spaghetti/meatballs. Meatballs were well seasoned but a little too "solid" for my liking.  Red sauce was delicious. Started w Bruschetta - tasty but simple ( fresh sliced tomato w mozzarella on Italian bread slices). All items were very reasonably priced. Service was quick and polite but could use an upgrade. No water served w the meal. My wife requested s glass. She got it, but none for me. Pardon my assumption that the wait staff would bring water for both. At the end of the meal the check was brought immediately with no inquiry as to whether we would like desert or coffee. So, the meal gets 4 stars; service gets 3 at best. More...

Ate here tonight, had the Redfish with vegetables.  Awesome dish.  Fish cooked perfect, vegetables perfectly seasoned. Rose to the occasion. Sometimes you have to have something go wrong during a meal before you can see the true medel of a resturant. That's what happened this week at Pearl Street Pasta. PSP is a small unassuming storefront in the historic downtown section of Natchez. It's always among the top 3-4 places locals will recommend when asking about a great meal in Natchez. We arrived just as dinner service was beginning and were quickly seated in the rear of the venue close to an impressive bar that stretched across the entire back wall of the resturant. We ordered a crab-cake starter. The crabcakes were light, delicate and not overwheliming at all, a very nice version of one of my favorite dishes. My wife ordered shrimp and crawfish over penne with a light cream sauce. I had at least a taste and it was very nice dish, PSP understands that you don't have to drown a pasta dish in the sauce. The right amount of sauce on a nice plate of penne with incely sauteed crawfish tails and shrimp. Here's where they were challenged as a resturant, I took the recommendation of our server and order a nightly special - Pan-seared red-snapper served over a bed of mashed yukon gold potatos topped with a nice tomato reslish. The dish sounded great and I decided to give it a try, but something went horribly wrong in the kitchen. After my second bite the acidity level from way too much lemon in the sauce over-powered the dish and it was simply ineditible. The bar tender was the first to notice that I had barely touched my main course. He stepped in and took the dish and headed to the kitchen. In moments our server had returned and offered an apology and the offer of a correctly prepared speical or anything else on the menu. Honestly I was a bit gun-shy of another speical, so when at a pasta place go with a safe choice - PASTA! I placed an order for their signature jambayla pasta, and my or was apparently rushed to the top of the list as it was only moments before a new entree was sitting before me. During the wait the owner came to our table to personally apologize for the kitchen mistake. The Pasta Jambalya - satueed shrimp and cajun sausage were sauteed and combined with a nice cream sauce, roma tomatos and basil were served over penne. Both pasta dishes were great! But, the way the owner and staff at Peal Street stepped up after the mis-step witht he main dish was to be highly commended. More...
