Toby was an amazing asset when it came to selling our house. We live out of town and were having trouble with renters who weren't paying rent. Not only did he work directly with the renters until they moved out but then worked tirelessly setting up and working with contractors to get the house in condition to sell. Once we had a buyer he was brilliant at helping her agent find the right loan for her. He consistently worked through issues and negotiations to make sure we were getting a great price for our home while also taking care of our buyer's complicated needs. He consistently communicated well with us through the process and left us feeling at ease knowing that every detail would be taken care of. Toby is the best! He is incredibly patient, he knows his market inside and out, and he makes sure to teach you you need to know. He worked with me to buy my very first home in 2009 and again in 2016 when I sold my home to purchase one with my fiance. We both love working with him! He gives great advisement and he is fair, honest, and helpful every step of the way. He is very responsive and prompt and will take time to help you decide what you really need out of your home sale or purchase. Toby Lorenc recently helped me sell my rental property in mid-December 2017, and I could not have asked for a better realtor! As an out-of-state seller, with limited Colorado Springs realtors contacts, I was a bit nervous about finding the right realtor who I could trust and who would communicate readily with me throughout the process. Through a friend of a friend, Toby was recommended to me because he had recently helped them sell and buy their new home. I met with him in June 2017 when I was in Colorado Springs for a visit. During this time I had renters in my property and was not too sure if I wanted to sell or what the timeline would be. The rental property of course needed some TLC and small improvements to get it market-ready. I was not sure if Toby would be interested in selling a house that may take a little longer than a ready-to sell property. After meeting Toby, he answered all my questions (I tend to ask a lot of questions) and was completely transparent about the various costs, fees, and commissions involved. I learned that Toby’s specialty is working with first-time homebuyers, and I truly believe he prioritizes educating his clients about the homebuying AND home selling process.

Starting in August, Toby and I talked weekly about getting the property ready for market. Because I did not live in Colorado, he was instrumental in helping me find quotes for the various improvements that the home needed. He helped with finding contacts for wood floor refinishing, glass door quotes, interior and exterior painter, and garage door installation. How often will a realtor do all this for you He would always stop by the property after any work had been completed to check if it was done up to par. Throughout this process he was extremely helpful, trustworthy, and I always felt he had my best interests in mind. After the improvements were made, the property was listed at the end of October and we closed mid-December! If you are looking for a realtor that is trustworthy, patient, education-oriented, transparent, and communicates readily, I without a doubt would recommend Toby Lorenc.
