We worked with Christiana C. Over the course of several months and are amazed with the results! We have 4 dogs: age 15 large female, small 8 year old chihuahua, and two sibling large puppies-current age 10 months. We had a host of problems and many did not think we would make it through with all 4 dogs. The puppies developed fear aggression and one of the puppies attacked the other dogs frequently. We had to separate this puppy from the other dogs and did not know what to do next. Christiana C. Walked us through the training and made the situation manageable. We worked hard over a three month period and now all the dogs are able to hangout together again. We are so happy that we did not have to get rid of any of our dogs and that they all get along and listen to basic commands. More...

We had a wonderful experience working with Peachtree Dog Training and Christina. She was so patient and helpful, and most importantly, the focus of each session was teaching us how to train our dog rather than her doing it herself, which meant by the time we felt comfortable on our own with her methods, we weren't dependent on her being there for our dog to obey us! Christina was so flexible with scheduling to work with our availability, and was always happy to schedule as many more sessions as we needed when we needed extra help. More...

Cristina has trained me how to positively motivate and engage my 10-year-old dog, Chancelour. I'm learning how to confidently teach him that I don't need him to protect us and that I got it (that's right folks, girl power). We are walking proof that you can teach an old dog new tricks! More...

Christina has completely changed our lives. Our 2 and a half year old pup Leia is sweet as can be but had lots of anxiety and was hyper active. Since with Christina all of our friends remark on what a different dog Leia is (still sweet and fun), but calmer, better behaved, and happier since we know how to manage her anxiety. More...

Christina was so patient and thorough with our dog Rocket. Before Christina, we were scared to walk our Lab/German shepherd mix. We had rescued him and he had really bad fear aggression and would try to run off when he see people, cars, or other dogs. After Christina's help, walking Rocket has been so much easier and we aren't worried about walking him with other people around anymore. Highly recommend and the investment was worth it. More...

Please be advised that The Bark @ The Ark Boarding & Groom has been working with Christina Dore and Peachtree Dog Training for about a year. Thanks to her diligence and resourcefulness we finally have a fully implemented dog training component of our business.

Recently we completed our first training session with Christina. We were able to visually and pictorially follow her through the training process/program. Christina is a very competent, patient and knowledgeable trainer. Several of the dogs that went through the initial training are also day boarders and/or regular boarders with the Bark. We have noticed a significant improvement in their behavior as it seems like a remarkable transformation has occurred. Christina was great at responding to owners questions, working with them in a group and one on one as well as revisiting issues that were of importance to assisting owners with the proper training of their pets. Further, Christina's training regimen consisted of the utilization of positive reinforcements and a reward system which worked extremely well. At the end of the 5 week training sessions, owners were notable excited about the improvements in their pets behavior.

In the final analysis, not only do we highly recommend Christina Dore and Peachtree Dog Training but look forward to our continuing relationship with them. Christina.....you rock!!!

What made me pick Peachtree Dog Training among many options out there is the in-home service. I agree with them that training needs to happen at home, because that is where my pet's day-to-day life happens. Plus, it adds an element of convenience on my part!

What made me very happy about my choice: Christina is just awesome! She clearly loves dogs and she knows what she's doing. She has a very organized and effective method for training which is easy to learn and practice. I appreciate her demonstrations, encouragement, and homework!

I used to dread walking my dog, Pia, outside because of her dog aggression issues. I'd come home feeling stressed and frustrated because we had a bad encounter with ONE dog. Now, I feel more at ease when taking walks with her. We would run into SEVERAL dogs, yet we'd come home happy because we were able to get through the encounter using what we learned from Christina.

Pia has also become more confident after her training. Her separation anxiety issues have been significantly reduced, and she is more outgoing now that she was before.

I cannot say enough fantastic things about my experience with Christina! I reached out to her when my Basset/Dachshund 9 month old puppy Ollie had me, frankly, overwhelmed and at a loss over how to address his problematic behaviors. Immediately from the assessment Christina made me feel that not only were Ollie's issues fixable, but that I was capable of fixing them. With just a few simple tools and rules I noticed a change in Ollie's behavior right away and honestly I'm amazed at how far he has come with Christina's guidance. He even comes on command now, most of the time :) The investment was 100% worth it because it has given me an amazing relationship with my dog that will last for the rest of his life. Thanks Christina! More...

Christina is amazing!!! We reached out to Peachtree Dog Training after our 5 month old puppy insisted on demonstrating frustrating and unruly dog behaviors. He had no sense of boundaries, struggled with our housebreaking efforts and quite frankly ran the house. I did a lot of in depth online research as was impressed with Christina's stellar reviews and disciplined approach to adjusting undesirable behaviors. Worried about exposing our little guy to someone who was mean or too aggressive, I was super pleased with our very first in-house assessment and her studious approach. Christina's guidance has proven to be effective and we wish to recommend her to others who might be experiencing similar puppy obstacles. More...

We worked with Christina and had a great experience as she always made herself available and was a pleasure to work with. As first time pup parents, we learned all the essentials and were able to set our pup up for success . Really liked the group trainings and hope that more new pup parents join. More...

My partner and I signed up with Christina to get some help training our 2 dogs and we are so happy we did. They had a range of issues from aggression with other dogs/people to complete panic and destruction during storms and fireworks. The methods Christina teaches really gets control of the dogs and creates a much more relaxed environment both inside and out of the house. The best part about the training and why I originally called is that she comes to you for the training. It can be daunting to go to a group training when your dog is super aggressive with other dogs. This way we were able to first learn how to manage the dogs in stressful situations before putting ourselves and our dogs to the test. Can't recommend enough and we are so glad she continues to help you for as long as you feel necessary! More...

When we first got George, a shepherd/chow mix, in January he was unruly and would nip at my children.  They were frightened of him.  Christine has done a wonderful job in guiding us in training him.  Now, George listens, he plays with the kids, and even my youngest can take him out to use the bathroom with no problems whatsoever.  I highly recommend her for any training needs you may have! She showed us how to deal with our 100 lb.dog"s leash aggression, pushy behavior, insane barking, protectiveness,  etc..We feel much more in control now, and our dog is SO much better! More...

We were at our wits' end when we first contacted Christina.  Our two bull terriers (a male, Carlos, and a female, Stella) were constantly fighting, and things seemed to be escalating on a daily basis.  It got to the point where Stella bit off the tip of Carlos's ear.  In addition to that, we had two small, older dogs who would also get in the mix.  And the dogs tended to react to every stimulus, whether it was dogs or people walking by outside, dogs barking next door, or even dogs barking on TV.  We always felt on edge and nervous about what would set off the next incident.        We had gone through some basic training with each of the bull terriers, so they knew some commands, but they also knew how and when to ignore us and do their own thing.  We started using baby gates to try to keep everyone separated, and we were constantly rotating the dogs in and out of their pens so they could avoid each other.  We more or less set up our lives to try to manage the dogs, and it still wasn't working. It got to the point where we couldn't even walk the bull terriers without an incident, so we couldn't properly exercise them.  The dogs basically ruled the house, and it felt like we were living in a prison.  At times, we dreaded coming home from work because of the dog-related stress we knew was waiting for us.  And because of the fighting, we feared that something terrible could happen if things continued as they were. It was such a relief when Christina came. She understood what we were going through and helped us to work through all of our issues. Although it took some time to work though the dogs' various issues, it was wonderful having her walk us though every step of the way and always be available for questions and encouragement, and she helped us to stay focused and positive.  She was very hands-on with the dogs and with us, and soon we were able to handle the dogs with confidence. We can now walk Carlos and Stella (together and separately) around our neighborhood when before we would have been too afraid to.  Recently, we took Stella to one of Christina's dog and client meet-ups, and Stella was able  calmly to meet and hang out around other dogs and people - including children - which we never thought would be possible.  We're continuing to implement the techniques Christina taught us, and we're continuing to see signs of improvement.  Christina gave us back control over our dogs which gave us back our life. We have been training with Christina since October 2013, when we adopted an adult rescue dog who had zero prior training, was not housebroken and had bad manners. We've had many one-on-one training sessions since that time, and I'm pleased to report that our dog is housebroken with much better manners and training than our other dog (who we adopted as a puppy, and who we have not been working on training with as she is a senior pug without major problems). Christina is a highly competent trainer who takes the time to train your dog and you!  Training your dog requires a lot of commitment on your end, but Christina gives you the tools, motivation and assistance you need to succeed.
