Ms. Raso and her team were wonderful to work with during the remodel of my kitchen and bathroom in my 100 year old bungalow home in Seattle. I was grateful that Ms. Raso could apply her years of experience with designing high end home remodels to my more moderate project. She knew how to utilize the most cost efficient sources for window cushion fabrics, appliances, custom builders for my window seat, lighting and fixtures, and creative space saving cabinets. She is a delightful professional who respected my concerns and my budget and taught me so much about design. More...

How can you turn a same old, same old apartment into va-va-voom?!  That was the case when I asked Paula Raso to work some magic without much expenditure.  Although one of Seattle's top designers, #1 for 2007, Paula doesn't require her clients to have seven figures in the bank.  Certainly, she has done amazing projects for some of the most affluent people in Seattle, but many of those she works with are regular folks, like me.  I had some family antiques, plus artifacts, pictures, and carpets from my travels. My placement, though adequate, didn't make them shine. What I wanted was an American apartment with global pizzazz.  Paula came over and we went through every room and inventoried what I had. She suggested an accent wall for focus and to make the room look larger, and then, a shelving unit, to add storage and places for pieces from my various collections. When that was accomplished, Paula came over, and within the space of a hour or so, as if she had a magic wand in her hand, she turned haphazard into "hubba hubba", rooms that are a treat to move through and live in.  I can't recommend her enough.
