Party Goats LA

We had two six-month old goats named Doc and Gizmo show up at our birthday party, and it was perfect! During the hour long visit, we fed them food, pet them, held them, and let them climb around on top of our backyard furniture and EVEN US. We didn't realize when we arranged the visit, but Doc and Gizmo are YOGA GOATS, which means they are trained to jump up and balance on your back. Tons of fun :) More...

Pippin and Spanky were the heroes of our advertising agency's happy hour last week. They were totally in their element and they seem to totally love what they do. While we were initially worried that with more people, the more goats might become uncomfortable, the opposite was true. As more guests arrived and interacted, the more Pippin and Spanky worked the audience. Pippins especially seems to be a natural-born performer!Not only were they wonderful to have at the party, their wranglers were great as well. They were professional, engaging, and promptly cleaned up any goat messes. They also obviously really care about their goats too...something that was very important for us. I completely recommend this experience.   We're not yoga fanatics, but we love goats.  Spanky and Pippin are well-mannered, good-looking castrated male dwarf goats.   We reserved them for our son's 12th birthday party.   We had nine tweens in our yard with a wonderful instructor, Jasmine.  Her poses were basic, good stretches.  She was very good with kids, especially giggly kids.   Scout and Pharra handled the leashed goats, encouraging them with treats to interact with the participants.   After the session, we were then able to interact informally with the goats and feed them treats.   Because I knew my husband and I would want to participate, a photographer friend came over to capture this experience.  I won't say "once-in-a-lifetime" because I'd definitely do it again. Spanky and Pippin showed up to my pumpkin carving bash fully decked out as Prince, and I was not expecting something that amazing when I asked Scout if they could wear costumes. The entire process was incredibly easy, Scout was an amazing communicator and facilitator. It was also really wonderful to see that this is born of her love for them and sharing that, and in no way exploiting or stressing the goats out. Having them at my party was a dream come true, and I highly recommend them for a party, or even just to brighten up a gloomy day. I will definitely be using Party Goats LA frequently in the future. So much fun!  Spanky and Pippin were the surprise guests at a farewell party for someone moving to a farm from urban LA.  They were a smash hit.  Their handler Katie was wonderful and the goats were just adorable.  And I learned the equivalent of a time out for goats, so it was educational too!  (Just a little playful rambunctiousness, and Katie knew exactly how to mellow him out.)  We're so glad we found Party Goats LA!  I don't know what else we could have done for the price that would have come close to the goat experience.  I would hire them again in a heartbeat. PROS:Easy to make an appointment, quick responses via email, phone and text.Scout and Orsoyla are both super sweet. Great customer service. Goats go pee pee and poo poo. But don't we all? However, theres absolutely no smell and handlers clean it up right away. Their poop is like pellets, no sloppy messes.Its obvious the handlers love and take good care of their animals. But even more obvious how much the animals love their handlers. Goats are cuddly and will do yoga with you! Snap a pic so you can brag on instagram.Price is very reasonable and better then any competitor I found.You'll make all your loser friends who didn't attend your party super jealous once they see the photos of goats on your snapchat stories and facebook photos. CONS:Goats were timid around my small dog. He didn't bark or act aggressively. But hey, even goats get tired. From beginning to end it was a pleasure working with Scout, Spanky and Pippin! Scout is super communicative, organized and her rates are beyond reasonable. This is hands down the most fun thing you can do for an event!  No kidding! I had a 'big kid birthday' and it was such a hit.  Spanky and Pippin are the sweetest, lightest, most outgoing goats you can have on your back... they will do yoga with you or join in on fun party games.  Scout, their mama, is the kindest most chill goat wrangler you will meet.  She hangs with the goats the whole time and cleans up any goat groatiness they may leave so the area is Always  clean for kids and adults to roll around. She also brings food  that you can feed them. She really cares for her pets and encourages them to play without overworking them. I highly recommend hiring Party Goats for any exciting occasion. I simply loved spending time with Pippin and Spanky. Both little goats have so much personality and are very soft to the touch.
