I worked with Tyler for several weeks in the gym. He is patient, knowledgeable and such a pleasure to train with. I am almost 60 years old. Being an endurance athlete, I have reached out to numerous practitioners for massage and FST. Finding Tyler has really helped me reach my goals. I golf and cycle and my exercise goals are to improve performance in both arenas, along with functional life fitness. Golf and cycling have very different movement patterns, i. e., rotational vs linear. Working with Tyler on core (spinal and hip) mobility has improved my performance in both, but I have really noticed a difference in golf where his stretching and fascia work have enabled a much more powerful golf swing, as in 30-40 yards longer with my driver. Tyler is an incredibly well-rounded therapist. I initially went to him for physical training, but that soon expanded into yoga and massage therapy. We are currently working on a spectrum of things in my sessions: posture, strength, aerobic fitness, flexibility...the list goes on. To get all of this in one place is great.He is very observant, and as such all of his sessions are tuned to your needs. Have an injury? Tyler not only accommodates it and is careful to not exacerbate the problem, he seeks ways to help resolve it. I have a back injury, for example, and our training sessions have largely shifted from weight training to core strength and stability. More...

I started working with Tyler Kragerud in January, starting off once a week and then shifting to once every two weeks, in preparation for a 3-month cross-country bicycle trip starting in mid-May When I started riding my bicycle in late March, I was blown away by how much stronger of a rider I was, despite the winter off. I appreciated how Tyler customized my workouts to focus on core strength and stability, as well as targeting shoulder girdle strength. With his deep knowledge of physiology, he quickly found simple, effective work-arounds for the hyper-mobility in my hands and other joints (the dark side of being really flexible and aging!), which made some exercises problematic. Each time we met, he would provide a new work-out plan, continually building on the previous work-out and the results of my efforts. Working with Tyler was motivating, fun, and positive. I recommend him highly. As an older woman (50) who has been active my whole life, I didn't really appreciate the benefits of working with a fitness coach. I do now!!!! Thank you, Tyler. Tyler helped me for about 8 weeks with some strength building, and to help me address some back issues I'd been having post-pregnancy. What I appreciated most was his ability to listen to my needs, develop a set of exercises that challenged me but fit within my time constraints, and his holistic approach. He not only helped identify that exercises that addressed my needs, but he also integrated stretching, breathing and overall wellness tips. I have spent most of my life feeling fatigued and imbalanced (energetically and physically). I grew up on a lake and was very active year round with water sports, soccer, running, hiking and snowboarding. Little did I know how truly misaligned my body was until I hit my mid-20's and I felt like my body was falling apart. From stress fractures in my feet, to knee pain, hip pain, low back pain, upper back pain, shoulder pain, poor sleep quality and even issues with a slow metabolism. I was desperate to feel alive again and sought out all sorts of care (chiro, yoga, physical therapy, and massage). But it wasn't until I started getting regular FST & massage treatments from Tyler that my body began to shift and I could feel big changes occurring. Tyler is truly gifted at what he does. He gives the whole body attention when trying to find the culprit & can make vast improvements with such subtle movements/motions. Each treatment I've had with Tyler has been above and beyond my expectations. Tyler is one of the most thoughtful and kind massage practitioners I have worked with. In addition to being extremely adept at his techniques and craft, he has a wholistic approach to his work which made my experience feel more well rounded and complete than other times I have had massages elsewhere. I also love that he is always learning new techniques beyond facial release such a pressure points, craniosacral therapy etc. and uses them appropriately, making me feel I'm not only in good hands but working with someone who is looking out for ways to really support me in feeling well. I worked with Tyler at Hyatt Training.  As a personal trainer and massage therapy client of Tyler's, I was and still am impressed with his tremendous knowledge of the human body.  I appreciate his holistic and very thoughtful approach to his work - both training and massage.  I went to Tyler for help with a lingering shoulder injury from a MVA. During our first session, Tyler listened to my concerns and frustrations, put me through a thorough assessment, did some manual work, and also showed me stretches and exercises to do until our next session.  Within a few sessions, I was no longer experiencing shoulder pain and my range of motion was much better.  Highly recommend Tyler, and will see him for any future aches/pains/injuries. I highly recommend Tyler for his massage therapy and fascial stretch therapy work. I came to see Tyler when I was having an adductor issue a few weeks before a 50-mile trail race. I had been having a hard time getting over it, and I explained the situation to him. In a 60-minute session, he evaluated my balance, worked on the problem area using massage and fascial stretch therapy, and showed me stretches to do at home. It was such a positive experience, and in the end I was able to run the race well. Tyler played a pivotal role in helping me to recovery from this injury. I will certainly go to see him again. I spent the past 8 weeks training with Tyler 3 x a week.  He listened to my fitness goals at the beginning and tailor made each work out, adjusting the level of difficulty as I progressed. I felt challenged and encouraged and enjoyed every work out.  In addition to Tyler's personal training credentials, he is a practitioner of fascial stretch therapy (FST) which is unlike any body work you have ever had.  Any tightness you might have from working out will be gone after experiencing FST w Tyler.  I highly recommend working w Tyler to gain control of your body's fitness.
