I started off my construction career doing complete Victorian Facade restorations in San Francisco, including design and fabrication of all the required custom architectural detailing. 60% of my work today is kitchen remodeling with 20% specializing in moving/ remove load-bearing walls and 20% a little bit of everything else.

From the first day I met Gerogemichael, I was impressed. He came to measure my kitchen so I could order the cabinets. He took detailed measurements and did a rough drawing of where things were.
Previous companies that measure my kitchen were in and out in 15 minutes. Georgemichael took longer, but I knew that his measurements were very accurate.
Georgemichael was fun to work with. Even when I kept changing what I wanted in the kitchen, he smiled and said "that is even better than the first design:.
While I designed the center inland, he took the time to make it exactly the way I envisioned it.

How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
The first consideration is whether it is eligible for a getting an occupancy permit. Everything else is just construction.
Run us through the different stages in the loft conversion process - what’s involved?
Research the initial zoning for the property address, depending on the result either look into variances or requirements for conversion. Next drawing up plans. I usually draft the sketches and give them to either a draftsperson (for the building department to approve, thus not requiring an architect stamp) or if engineering calcs are required I have engineers I work with for that. Then after all the research, planning, getting the permits, then the construction starts.
How long have you been in business?
I started doing construction in 1981 and have spent about 50% of my working life in construction.
What guarantee does your work come with?
I offer a three-year guarantee for an additional 20%, and a ten-year guarantee for an additional 50%. It's like buying a TV at Best Buy, and all contractors who offer guarantees charge for it, with some like me, it is optional. It keeps the cost down.
What do you love most about your job?
I'm really good at what I do, and am a great problem solver.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Originally I wanted to have a shop and operate like Frank Loyd Wright, who set no limits between what the mind could imagine, and what could be built.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have an artist sensibility (since my first degree was in sculpture), and when clients are trying to make decisions, after listening to all their ideas I tell them what I would do if I were in their shoes, trying to accomplish what they are trying to accomplish.
