Chris cuts hair in the front Mimi braids hair in the back. I bring my kids here to get their haircut and my wife gets her hair braided here. The whole vibe is family friendly and Mimi and Chris do a great job of making you feel welcome. I've gotten my hair cut from countless barbers in the scene and can say that at this stage In my life with kids, originality just makes the most sense. No overly loud music, no loud smell, no bad language and no weird druggie vibes. It's a quality cut from genuine, hardworking people. Â Also I have to mention that Glen has definitely got a serious talent as well. He's got the other booth. Thats my go to man for a thorough fade. He's 100% a perfectionist and can tackle whatever hair style you want. I get a quiff with a high fade sometimes drop fade with a beard line up. I've had my hair braided, and dreaded by Melissa, and left satisfied every time. She knows what she's doing, and it shows in her work. So, I've been a customer of the owner since he was at another barbershop a year ago. His name is Chis Cage and he's very skilled. When I first got to San Diego I tried at least 5 different barbers and they weren't nearly as good. Also, he's easy to get along with and he's flexible with his schedule. Chance the barber is by far the best barber around!! He has been cutting my sons hair since he was two yeas old and is about to turn five. His hair can be a challenge sometimes but Chance always makes it look perfect! Its always a welcoming environment in the shop especially with Chance's fun outgoing personality.

I've been with the stylist here, Melissa, for years. She is the only one I will trust with my natural hair. Not only has she helped me get my curl pattern back after years of relaxer damage, she can straighten my hair without ruining my natural hair.
She is to talented at protective styles and treatment to help my hair grow! I never have to wait for my appointment, she's quick, and makes you feel like the queen you are when she's done. I'm always asked how my hair has grown so much and looks so good and I know it's thanks to her skill and help!
I also recently started taking my son (8 yrs old)to Chris to get his hair cut and he blows us away with his talent too! Nonstop comments on his hair cut. He knows how to fade it just right and that part line he cuts is always on POINT!! All the barbers & stylist there are nice. You'll feel like family and walk out with a smile. We won't go anywhere else!
