I'm so very satisfied with On Safari. Â As an office manager for an office of 100 we're constantly ordering food for meetings or employee events. I waited too late for our Halloween Happy Hour and wasn't able to use our regular caterer due to their availability. In a last minute dash to find heavy appetizers for 100 picky eaters with various food restrictions, I stumbled upon On Safari. Thank goodness! Not only were they able to accommodate my last minute request they had the cutest themed appetizers that fit everyone's palate; the vegans, vegetarians, gluten free, nut free and meat eaters! Â All of us were happy. Â We used them again this morning for a breakfast buffet for our employee meeting. Â They arrived early, before I arrived and set up everything in our break room. I arrived to work and everything was laid out and ready to go. I have not received one complaint and that's a big deal with my folks. Â I've never received this many compliments on anything I've every put together for this office, food or not! If I had more time I'd write more about how amazing it was to work with the Catering Sales Managers that worked within my budget and put together some awesome menus and were open to all my changes, etc. Â They deserve every star! We had our wedding party at the Factory Luxe and we are SO GLAD we chose this venue! The Factory Luxe was the first venue we toured after we got engaged, and we knew right away that it was perfect for us! Our experience with Melinda, the venue owner, was amazing from beginning to end. I relied on Melinda a lot to organize and plan our party. She was very helpful and transparent about what would work and what wouldn't. My husband and I knew we wanted a casual, cocktail-style party, and Melinda helped us decide on how many tables and chairs to have, how many bar tables to set up, and where to put our food, drinks, gifts, etc. She had great recommendations on food vendors and made an accurate estimation of how much alcohol we would need as well. We were able to get all our alcohol from her which made things easy. Melinda allowed us to borrow anything we needed from the venue and was very communicative about what she could offer us. On the day of our event, she even helped us set up and tear down. She is a trustworthy, communicative, knowledgable, and friendly person, and we really enjoyed working with her. Our guests had a ton of fun at our wedding party and many said that they loved the venue. We were on a tight budget, and having our party at the Factory Luxe allowed us to have the event we always dreamed of. On Safari did a fantastic job of catering Amplio's donor event. They listened to our needs, met us for a walk-through of the venue prior to the event, showed up on time with beautiful food, and were flexible in doing a redesign when we changed how we wanted to set up and serve. Our guests raved about the food and there were many inquiries from people looking for catering for their own future events. 5 stars! More...

Melinda and the Factory Luxe saved our wedding! After our previous venue fell through six weeks before our wedding day, Melinda was the superhero we needed. And we loved the space so much. It's classy, cool, historical, and very Seattle. My favorite part was the back room where kiddos could run around without disrupting anyone enjoying their meal! It was tight fitting 100+ people in, but we made it work, and Melinda was very communicative, super easy to work with, and a downright joy. We ended up ordering our wine, beer, and kombucha through her just so we had one less thing to pick up and bring with our crew, and it was a great decision. She was super flexible about whatever we chose, and helpful when recommending options everyone would enjoy. We didn't hire a DJ, just set up my laptop with a playlist on the stage, and the dancing was a hit with her sound system! More...

This venue was perfect for my anniversary party!! Â The best part is the location. Â It's a historic Seattle landmark and it's easy to get to and parking is free. The property manager - Melinda - was was so amazing to work with!! Â She was a HUGE help throughout the planning of my party. Â She was always very quick to respond to emails and helpful when it came to various ideas that I needed from her previous experience. I would recommend renting this facility all day every day! A phenomenal place! My husband and I chose this venue for our wedding last month, after looking at many options. It had everything that we were looking for- flexible catering/bar choices, indoor/outdoor space, iconic location, large time block, and-most importantly an amazing owner/day of coordinator- Melinda. From planning to execution everything was on point. Melinda was always available to help us with questions, planning, advise. She even introduced us to Jeff at Hengst Studio next door where we had our ceremony (he and his artwork was amazing too!) This place makes it too easy to be bad. I work in the neighborhood, and On Safari is a quick walk if I'm in the need of a quick snack or bite to eat. It's got that convenience factor!In the morning they offer great breakfast sandwiches, wraps and biscuits. After 11am they have a set "hot lunch" menu that is pre determined and updated weekly on their website. The "hot" lunch is $10.95.Aside from the hot, they also offer cold sandwiches, soup of the day (meat and vegetarian) and salads. Along with their weekly "hot lunch" menu, they have a baked goods dessert menu that changes day to day. My favorite is the rice krispy treats! The butterscotch ones are the jam!If you need a quick snack, they have; chips, jerky, candy bars, breakfast bars, soda, and fruit. .....Oh yeah, they also have coffee! Nice venue. Different rooms and nice fire pit. Parking is a little tight, meaning small space size. So if you drive a Humvee, you might want to park on the street.

The servers were wonderful as well!

Use them for catering, they do a very good job! Â My office has lunch events at times and On Safari has come through in our time of need. My office has some hungry people, I mean hungry!!! As soon as an email goes out that there's food in the break room, it's like vultures in there! Â Anyways, we had a few events recently for St. Patrick's Day and Cinco de Mayo, we had On Safari cater it and everyone was very pleased with the catering job. I believe they set it up for you too when they deliver it, nice looking spread each time. A few things that stuck out from the last events is the super seasoned chicken we had for Cinco de Mayo, the chicken was super flavorful. The Spanish rice was more like fried rice, but but it was still very good. The St. Patrick's Day event we had, we had a baked potato bar set up with vegetarian chili. The chili was very good as well, baked potatoes were huge, the toppings are nice looking, salads were fresh and I kept eating. Â Glad my office started to use them for our catered lunches and can't recommend them enough. There's usually a lot of leftovers, but again those vultures at my office will swoop them up as soon everyone is done eating. More...

The non-profit org that I worked for hosted a reception for a very important client at Factory Luxe. We couldn't have been happier! From the initial conversation to wrap of event, Melinda was wonderful to work with. Her attention to detail was superior and client care top notch. The venue itself is gorgeous and well maintained. The ambiance of the venue and outside "courtyard area" (not really a courtyard per se) had a super cool European ambiance. On Safari was great! Â I was looking for a reasonably priced caterer to cater a family get-together. On Safari was just what we needed. Â The food was outstanding and the staff I worked with to organize everything was helpful. They delivered the food on time and set it up beautifully...and were flexible on the schedule for picking up the items. Â Everyone who attended our event remarked on the food. We ordered salmon, which I was worried about as I didn't know how it would fare with the transport and sitting out on a catering tray...but it was cooked perfectly and was delicious. Â The moroccan chicken was outstanding, too.They also catered a dessert buffet at a large party the following evening. Â I am very picky about desserts and hate things that are overly sweet. Â Everything was simply delicious. Â Only note is if you are ordering their Bete Noir, they describe the slice as a "sliver." It's more than a sliver, especially considering how dense the cake is. Â Figure one slice per two people...I ended up with two more cakes than I needed. More...
