The food was amazing! We went there for mother’s day and they gave each of us a rose. My mom got the chicken fried steak and it was one of the best she has had. I got the salmon with risotto. The food was fantastic. We got the pork chops with collard greens and Mac and cheese and the Tennessee hot chicken with mashed potatoes and collards. We got the hush puppies as a starter, I think they had pimento cheese inside. It was an interesting addition to deviate away from the traditional. The chicken wasn't too spicy, but the housemade hot sauce with it was perfect. The pork chop was smoky and delicious. I loved the Mac and cheese. They served great local beers. This is absolutely my favorite restaurant in the Charleston area. The food is incredible and simple. It’s not like a lot of restaurants in the area that just try too hard to deliver a good entree. These chefs know what they’re doing- that’s for sure. Our favorite dishes are the braised short rib, sweet potato gnocchi & the Nashville hot chicken. These dishes will leave your taste buds wanting more!
