Barley oak has amazing tacos! A wide selection of different beers to choose from. You can enjoy a Beautiful view of lake Pontchartrain. The staff are very nice and helpful. There's cornhole you can play downstairs. You can ride your bike to Barley Oak and enjoy the lakefront and sunsets. Fell in love with the “wheat” beer. Also ordered boudin balls, due to the combo of mustard and pickles with the boudin I am reminded of a Cuban sandwich. ..in a good way. The hot wings were really good too, cooked perfectly and the sauce was spicy but also with a sweet hint of flavor. The flavor of the beer and food is complex without being pretentious.
