Great Aquarium..They do a great job of giving the history of Hawaii and the types of fish are represented very well. Check the Fish Feeding out at 11 and 3 everyday...

Very nicely built convention Center. Parking is a bit pricey around the event but there are plenty of hotels and restaurants around.

I just saw the Harlem Globetrotters and they won!! I got all of them to sign my Globie doll and they went against the Generals. They picked a "very special family" each time to sit by the courts (like right up close and personal) AND THEY CHOSSEE US AND MY BFF!!!! It was soooooo much fun! More...

My family and I went to Daytona for Thanksgiving. We caught the tree lighting, which was amazing! They had a band singing Christmas carols leading up to the lighting. We spent ALL day here. The displays and tanks are great, very informative and well done. Initially, we made all of the naturalists talks, asked questions and learned alot. Then we went back thru from the beginning and really looked at the tanks and displays. There are naturalists wandering around who are eager to teach and answer questions. We took the Behind the scenes tour, it was worth it! Jess, our naturalist, was great. She was great with involving 2 children on our tour, and scientific with the adults. The Ocean Center is located near several hotels and is walking distance from the beach. We've been here several times for various events. The staff is friendly, and the building has always been clean. The food inside the venue is typically overpriced as is the case with most convention centers, but is decent.
