What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
There isn't really any big secret to keeping the party going. It boils down to the right music. As a professional DJ, it's important to pay attention and evolve with your audience. A DJ that can respond and evolve with his/ her audience stands a very good chance of playing the right music at the right time. In our minds, evolution is the biggest key to a successful gig.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
We don't really have a "style". We are client "style" oriented. In other words, we're whatever our client needs us to be. If a client needs just background music, that's what we are. If our client needs us to up front directing the crowd, that's what we are.
What do you love most about your job?
There is no bigger high than a packed dancefloor full of energy. What we love most about what we do is bringing people together. We love the fact that no gig is the same. No client wants the exact same thing as the prior client. We love providing the soundtrack to our clients cherished memories.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have worked for a few other DJ service providers. In that time I watched rates soar to highs that just didn't make sense to me. I felt like it was time for clients to get the same or better service for a lower rate. Your DJ shouldn't cost more than what it cost you to rent your venue.
