Nottoscale is a San Francisco / Berlin based multidisciplinary design studio that combines a distinctively European approach with an American sense of innovation.

Nottoscale’s work is rooted in an exploration and generation of a modern vocabulary that is informed by program, process, the innovative use of material and an emphasis on spatial relationships. We use the analysis and integration of given constraints – like site conditions, technical as well as material properties, economic limits and program requirements – as an opportunity for creativity, emphasizing the unique character of each project.

Nottoscale’s extensive experience and unique background of living and working in different cultural and environmental settings, enables us to create innovative and distinct design solutions that are always rooted in the specific conditions of each individual project.

Nottoscale’s work has received national and international awards and has been widely published in publications such as The New York Times, Wallpaper, Metropolis, Sunset Magazine and Architectural Record, to name a few.
