This was my family's first time using professional movers, and the experience was great.They moved my family from a live work space with screen-printing equipment into our new home, and they were super professional, and hustled. I am so happy with the service I had with Primetime Movers. James and Joe arrived on time to my apartment and took the extra care to wrap all my furniture and tons of glass and art I had in my place. I have had anxiety about all this stuff breaking in transport. One day later and probably half unpacked, not one thing is broken. I'm so so grateful for the care they took with my furniture and belongings. I would 100% recommend this company and especially James and Joe. James and Joe did a great job. They wrapped all of my furniture items and didn't damage anything. They were friendly and hustled. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is 1) they arrived about 1.5 hours late, which was due to a truck breaking down and having to go rent another truck, 2) no one told me that they would be taking a break from Point A to Point B, so I was concerned that they were going to be charging me for the 30 minutes I waited at Point B for them (in the end, they took the 15 minutes for a break off of what they charged) and 3) I had emailed with Kyle about renting 5 wardrobe boxes, but they didn't show up with them, which I am hoping is because of the issues they had with the truck - my boyfriend and I had to carry all of my clothes down the long hallway and into his car and then unload them at Point B - just frustrating to have to do work on moving day when I hired movers for the very reason of not wanting to do it myself. 2nd time using them and I would probably use them again. I recently used Primetime Movers to move my household goods from Portland to Happy Valley.  They were fantastic.  I've moved many times with corporate relocation programs, so I've seen more than my fair share of movers.  They arrived on time, were very courteous, hard working, fast and effective.  They properly protected all the sensitive items, protected the walls and woodwork in both homes, and were extremely careful not to make any dings or dents.  The crew of Ed, Joe & James were great to work with throughout the 5-hour move. These guys were the best! Made it easy to obtain a quote and replied super fast. We had 2 trucks to unload in Lake Oswego which unfortunately for them had 32 steps to the front door. Did I mention we have a behemoth of a wine fridge that they had to lug up these stairs? The 4 guys were friendly and patient. Yes we were back and forth on where we wanted some things to be placed. Primetime movers loaded up a POD that was shipped to Chicago for us. They were very detailed with what to expect via phone in regards to the move. They gave me two options in terms of purchasing pads for protection. They offered to sell us their blankets (but informed us they were expensive) or go to harbor freight and purchase for half the price. We chose the ladder. We appreciate the honesty. The POD arrived yesterday and was unloaded here in the evening. It was packed professionally and we can not see any nicks or dings. This was our third time using a moving company and by far our favorite! James, Joe, and Ed were prompt, professional, polite, and strong as hell. The stuck to the estimated time and made the perfect amount of enjoyable small talk. We definitely recommend them to anyone and it's now obvious why they have such high ratings. I can't say enough great things about my experience with Northwest Movers (now called Primetime Movers?).  We had an excellent crew of James, Ed, Brandon and Justin.  They unloaded our 2920 sq ft house, which included 45 stairs from top to bottom, without damaging or scratching anything!  The entire time they were working hard, professional and courteous and maintained a positive attitude from beginning to end.  I had a bad experience when we originally moved into our house 6 years ago with College Movers, where they damaged our new expensive leather couch, so I am extremely glad I found a company that I can trust.  Thanks again for the smooth moving day. We hired them to load up two PODS full of our grandmothers belongings to be shipped to the East coast. Scheduling was crisp and quick. I received a confirmation email and a call the day before confirming my reservation.We only had the building manager onsite during the move. They were able to take card payment over the phone. When the PODS arrived weeks later, we were impressed that not a single piece had been damaged, or scratched for that matter. They had protected everything to the max. We used Northwest for a move from Portland to troudtdale earlier this week. I can't begin to tell you how great these guys have been. They had to pick up items from two different locations and deliver it to a second level storage unit. Most of these pieces are large and heavy. Positive attitudes throughout. We didn't pack our storage units that well, which meant they had to rearrange that as well. They sold us a dozen blankets and let me know if they get them back they will refund the cost of those. Northwest movers did an amazing job unloading a 26 foot truck/trailer earlier this week. They showed up on time and were fast to get everything off loaded and beds set up. I booked three weeks before the move and asked many questions, which I'm sure we're a bit annoying but you gotta do your homework. Coordinating details was easy and convenient for me.I received a call the day before the move to confirm the details. They also emailed a few tips from their FAQ page on their site.Movers were very positive and worked hard. Never once did I get the impression they were being careless or working the clock. I was originally set with another company who canceled on me with 1 weeks notice. This left me trying to find a replacement company on a holiday weekend. They replied to my email within a half hour and we're available for the date I needed.They loaded up my truck and made sure everything was fastened in tightly. I used these guys for a move in December in SE Portland. I had all our stuff packed but my furniture wasn't wrapped or protected. I was super impressed at how well they wrapped all our furniture so it arrived pristine on the other side. They also sent three guys and hustled. I don't even think they took a break. I had a great experience. Very professional. The two guys that came over got to work immediately. The wrapped each piece of furniture in padded blankets. They moved quickly and efficiently. I had an entire truckload (4 full rooms & garage with some really heavy furniture) and I don't think they broke a sweat. They didn't ding the walls or hit anything, very aware of their surroundings. I went back and forth about hiring movers for two reasons. One being I'm still completely capable of moving everything I own, and two from my research it didn't look like moving was cheap. Bit the bullet and got three quotes from moving companies around the West side of Portland. Northwest movers came in pretty much in the middle in terms of pricing.

It still wasn't cheap, but saving the strain on my back and not having to nag my friends was well worth it. I also found out that they help move people who are in domestic violence situations. For starters- this was bar far the best moving company I've use to date. Contact over yelp was always constant/quick replies. Movers were professional and showed awesome care for my stuff. They hustled and didn't take breaks. I have two heavy front load washing machines that had to go up three flights of stairs. That was done easily. Couldn't thank them enough.The company requires a one hour deposit to get you on the schedule, which im sure is pretty common for the industry. Only issue was I was out of the country during the booking process. I told them I would call as soon as I was back in the country, but they couldn't guarantee my spot until it all was finalized. I get it, there's bad people out there who would probably book a move and then cancel last minute. I believe they're doing it the right way it was just unfortunate that I was out of the country.Overall they are a fantastic company and would recommend them over and over again. More...
