From the moment we sat down with Nick and got to talking it felt like we had known him for years! He is such an easy going person and SO passionate! When he was shooting us he didn’t put us in stiff poses or forced smiles. There were a few moments that I honestly forgot he was even out there with us. We were THAT comfortable. The pictures came out so beautiful! Better than I could have even imagined. Everybody that looks at our photos always comments on how you can just “feel the love”. When asking for inquiries from different wedding photographers, Nick was the first photographer to personally reach out to me and express his passion for his job and his passion to make connections with his costumers. From day one he made the experience about US. We were starting not only a business venture but a friendship with our photographer. I was drawn to his work from the very beginning. It is very raw, real, and loving. Our engagement session was fun and relaxing and our wedding day was no different. He was understanding of every request and flexible in every sense of the word. All of our family and friends complimented his laid back personality and friendliness. The anticipation for our photos and video was well worth the wait. We loved every thing that he was able to capture and will cherish them for a lifetime. Obviously there are photos that you forget about capturing or things that you think about after the fact, but what we have are photos of US and us enjoying our special day and that is all we care about. I have assisted Nick in a majority of his 2018-Present weddings as his secondary photographer. Nick is a joy to be around! He truly thrives in his element as a photographer and you can see the passion for his clients and their day very clearly. He goes above and beyond as a photographer keeping in touch with clients all the way up until wedding day, and offers so much more than "just taking photos" on the day of! His photos are recognizable in the sense that they are unlike most of the work I see in the Springfield/surrounding area. He is true to color, excellent with skin tone, and never edits in a way that creates an unauthentic feel to how the images were captured in the first place. He is the most knowledgeable photographer I know, and has taught me most of what I know today. We got in contact with Nick last minute for an event we were hosting in Springfield. He was more than willing to help, showed up at 8am with a big smile on his face and was ready to work. If I could give Nick 100 stars I would. Him and his partner Henry went above and beyond for this last event we all attended shooting for a wedding. The energy they brought in and how much fun they were having throughout the night all while still keeping it professional is just admirable. They truly are the definition of pure artists when behind their lenses. I worked as the dj in this wedding so Nick and I had to coordinate with each other through the night, and I appreciated his communication with me all night keeping us and the event running smoothly and more importantly keeping the bride and groom happy and giving them an experience they will never forget, through his keen eye and pure skill. Nick did such an amazing job on my senior photos! We spent about an hour and a half taking photos downtown and on campus and they turned out so good! His prices were reasonable and the finished product was even better than I could have expected! I would definitely use him again if I need even more natural and beautiful photos!
