Give a chance! Depends on what their behaviour is. Sometimes it seems hopeless ' think of it this way' it takes time to achieve a life time goal, when it's been a long haul of behavior problems that seem no end. A baby step, than another' which again up and down' is away of finding the right goal to reach, some are longer than others. Be surprised with patience. More...

I’ve been coming here for about two years, and I have never received such great care, honestly. The entire staff is amazing, from the receptionists to psychiatrists, therapists, and even the transportation people. Dr. Van Andel is the best psychiatrist I have ever seen, and the therapists I’ve worked with in outpatient AND in Face to Face are so compassionate. New Oakland feels like home to me, and they’ve helped me get a better handle on my bipolar disorder (type II.) I’ve acquired a sense of normalcy (whatever that is) since receiving care here, and I am truly grateful for this awesome resource. More...

Staff was friendly to me. . I noticed a change with my 14 year old daughter in the 1st week. Dont no what happens inside and what they say but my daughter didn't fight with me once in the morning to go like she does with school.
