I have seen Dr. Koh for various injuries and ailments since 2006. Over that period of time, he has treated my back pain, shoulder injury, psoas spasms, neck pain and stiffness, plantar fasciitis, and most recently an injured sacrum with nerve impingement causing my right leg and foot to go numb. The man is a miracle worker. With my most recent injury, I hobbled around for a week in searing lower back pain on my vacation (after a sled riding accident) before I could get back home to make an appointment with Dr. Koh after checking in with my family doctor. Dr. Koh's treatment provided more relief than the muscle relaxants given to me by my family doctor. The combination of needles, cupping, and taping was amazing. I walked out of Dr. Koh's office feeling significantly better. My numbness has improved, and the pain in my back has diminished, and I look forward to finishing a few more rounds of treatment to put this whole injury behind me. Dr. Koh is compassionate, funny, thorough, skilled, exceptionally intelligent, and persistent in his treatment. His staff is equally kind and professional. I walked into New Hope Acupuncture doubled over in pain & could not stand straight....after Dr. Ko's treatment, I was able to stand straight with diminished pain. The staff is phenomenal...I explained the severity of my pain & they were able to get me in the same day...unbelievably compassionate. I was very comfortable allowing Dr. Ko to work on my back after he was able to look at my MRI & discern what was causing the pain. He was very concerned about my comfort level with each procedure he performed which made me relax. A friend referred me to Dr. Koh. I have been suffering with numbness and pain in both hands. It took me a long time to connect my hands with a neck injury. I have tried physical therapy, but it did not have a longtime effective. By now I was looking for a miracle and I found that in Dr. Koh. My journey to pregnancy consisted of over three years of fertility treatments and a lot of heartbreak until I met Dr. Koh. I did everything from Chlomid, to IUIs, to two failed IVF cycles. Although I do not regret trying Western medicine, I wish someone would have suggested acupuncture earlier. Dr.Koh was very confident that he told me to give him 2months to get my cycles regulated and the chance to conceive. Immediately with the herbal medicine and acupuncture provided by Dr. Koh. I felt improvements with my cycles and on the two month I conceived naturally. At the acupuncture sessions, it was such a calm and relaxing environment which made me very comfortable. I could barely feel anything when he placed the needles on me. He was so kind and gentle to me to relax during treatment.
