What’s your interior design process?
Understand the clients need and decide on the best way to answer them. Lots of options here for the best direction and for a varied budget. Options start with:
3D Virtual walk thru design, sketches, renderings or a basic presentation board with select materials.
If a return on the investment is required: as in the Hospitality market, an in depth analysis can be attained to assist in helping to decide the best direction for a specific target market, seasonal rates etc. are all factored in.
It's a fun process that I like to be flexible with depending on how much my clients like to engage or not in it.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
Eclectic is in. So this works well for all styles. Keeping something that has an emotional attachment has value these days. Adding something new with something old brings in a personal touch.
What do you love most about your job?
The challenge of it! I approach each job with a fresh new start, so this pushes my creativity and ups the challenge for original designs.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Building my own home from the ground up and not wanting a cookie cutter look. I am creative by nature so I questioned every part of the process to ensure a unique but well thought original home.
Why should our clients choose you?
My accumulated experience from a wide variety of trades will shine thru, as an example my years of sewing has helped me to select appropriate fabrics, drafting houses helps me to work with Architects, a background in graphic design helps me to think more creatively by being able to render images before the process is started.
I also love the thinking side of the design process, or analytical detail decisions, but feel that I can balance it out with the artistic, creative side too!
