Best decision we ever made for our wedding was hiring Roz! She was the absolute necessity of our wedding. She helped me plan the details weeks before, checked in with the vendors, did all the set up, decorating, and coordinating (which basically means she did everything), and had a smile the entire time! Because of My Perfect Wedding Assistant, our entire family was able to sit back and enjoy the day. My husband and I actually remember our wedding, and feel so incredibly blessed to have just been able to enjoy every moment! We could NOT have done it without Roz & Ryan. We recommend them 110%!!! Wow! What can we say about Roz and her team? These guys are absolutely the best in their field, no questions asked! If you think you don't need a wedding planner, you just haven't met Roz yet and I promise, you need her! We first met Roz when we started planning our wedding at the venue of our dreams. After a solid month of trying to work things out with an extremely difficult owner, we unfortunately had to go to Plan B and choose another venue. Roz was a fierce (but professional) advocate for us the entire time. She remained committed to us throughout every step of our process and supported us through unnerving change and transition. She turned our Plan B into our Plan A and then some! Every detail along the way was anticipated and taken care of by Roz and her team. They thought of things that we didn't think of because of their experience and expertise. They were able to come up with creative ideas and solutions when last-minute things fell apart (with weddings, things do) and were very effective as a team. For example, when a hairdresser dropped out last minute, they had one on their team to provide for the big day. We were blessed with gorgeous weather on our wedding day, but warm weather, and Ernestine and Ryan went out of their way to get water bottles to our ceremony site (their idea!). Their team took care of little details like this the day of that ensured things were not only smooth but magical. Overall, we'd describe them as organized, communicative, and trustworthy: you absolutely need these things in a wedding planner! The day of our wedding was the most incredible and perfect day of our entire lives. It could not have happened without My Perfect Assistant! They did everything they could to give us what we asked for, and showed us a level of care that is increasingly rare in today's world. At the end of it all, they really made us feel special, taken care of, and like we had become a small part of their amazing family. They went above and beyond in everything they did, and we know they will do that for anybody they work with. It's worth adding that they have a large selection of decorations available if needed, so don't be afraid to ask about them about their wide variety of options! We were very particular about what we wanted our wedding to look like and they still had things we were able to use: a photo booth, sound system, gold chargers, and matching chairs for a last-minute addition to the reception dinner. All of these items were provided without us even having to ask. They saw what we needed to complete our vision and ensured the event would run smoothly...logistical things you just don't think about unless this is your wheelhouse. We could go on and on, but if you're on the fence about this at all, just know that these are the nicest people you'll ever meet and will make you feel the way you should throughout the entire planning process and on your special day. My Perfect Wedding Assistant is PERFECT. The reviews don’t lie! Our wedding hasn’t happened yet (couple more months) but I already feel compelled to publicly rave about them. From the very beginning, they’ve been incredible. So responsive, so sweet and caring, and so honest. I trust them 1000% to make our wedding day magical. They have an eye for how things should look and I fully trust their taste - more so than my own lol. I was set on burlap table runners until she talked me out of it and she showed me something even better. This is why we hired them! Lol. Their shop full of decor is what originally sold us. We are renting all our decor from them. They’re bringing it, setting it up, and tearing it down. It’s all included in the price and worth every penny. My beautiful bride and I cannot recommend Mamma and Roz any more. We were hesitant about hiring a day of coordinator but as soon as we met, my wife and I clicked with Ernestine from the moment we met. We met with several others prior and all seemed just a little stuffy and maybe just too proper. Ernestine was down to earth and very professional. As far as the wedding went they were there each step and if anything went wrong we didn’t know because Ernestine and Roz took care of it. I plan on never needing a coordinator again as I have my forever bride but if I did I would go to @myperfectweddingassistant and hire them again. Thank you so much for being a part of our wedding. Roz and her team were the best vendor decision we selected for our big day! Not only did she literally handle everything including a venue change (indoor to outdoor in August ‍♀️) but she also was the day of contact I needed to just enjoy my big day. My goal was to have it all handled so my family and friends didn’t have to lift a finger and could just show up and party. Roz made that happen! She even stepped in help when one of my others vendors completely dropped the ball on cleaning at the end of the night. She went above and beyond for us and we are so thankful for everything the team did. We went with the package that also included all the rental items which saved us $100’s of dollars. It was so much fun showing up in their space and literally designing every detail of the table and venue. We will forever be able to look back and think of only happy memories from our wedding because it was such a relaxed and stress free day. Ernestine and her team were amazing throughout the entire wedding planning process. My husband and I first got introduced to her at the Bellevue Wedding Show. Love them then but didn’t think we needed a day of coordinator. Then saw them again at the Seattle Wedding Show and were sold since I was in over my head about all my diy I wanted to do. We couldn’t be happier with that decision. Not only were they there for all my many questions throughout the wedding planning process they allow you to use there decor which was a lifesaver because, really, who wants to be stuck with all those wedding decorations after the wedding. Am I right? We met with Ernestine and Roslynn before the wedding to go over what decor inventory we wanted to use for the reception and ceremony, a venue walk through and the rehearsal too. So supportive and helpful. Trust me ladies you need it. On the day of things ran so smooth by having her working with all my vendors and the timeline she created and dispersed to everyone. We were actually running ahead of schedule before the ceremony so I got a chance to sit down and whoops my niece had been eating raisins in our room we were getting ready in and so of course that means I sat on one. It got somewhat imbedded in the lace of my dress on my butt which I found out when I stood up and my maid of honor and a friend shrieked OH MY GOSH you have something on your dress. I ran over to the mirror in horror. Oh, what am I to do? Cue Ernestine and Roslyn to save the day. They were able to get it out without even a trace before the ceremony. Thank goodness. She was able to help the family and took care of everything so I didn’t have to deal with it. They also stayed late to see if they could find my clueless husbands ID and family heirloom coin that he thought he lost at the venue. Thankfully he found it but it meant the world to us that they stayed to look. They did all this while they were fighting colds and you really wouldn’t know because they had the go get them attitude to get everything perfect for us. Roz and Ernestine with MPWA were AMAZING!! Everything was perfect! They have outstanding attention to detail and made us and everyone at our wedding feel so special. They made our vision and our happiness the main priority. If you are even slightly considering a day-of coordinator, these are the women you need in your life! I cannot imagine what our day would have been like if we didn't have them there to help make the dream come true. They are some of the sweetest and most genuine people I have ever met. When we met them, we were greeted with huge smiles and hugs but, they also know what they are doing!! They were very organized and took care of business. I never had any concerns that they couldn't handle and my nerves were put at ease knowing that I could count on them to make our day special. These ladies are absolutely amazing! My wedding was at The Edgewater Hotel in Seattle...and I was planning it from St. Louis! Planning a destination wedding can be hard but these two ladies made it seamless! They thought of every little thing I did not. I’ve been to a few weddings where the coordinator is overly assertive. Mama Ernestine, and her daughter Ros, are a warm and elegant team. My family and bridal party had the best time...but the coordinator was assertive when needed! We hired MPWA for our wedding in April, 2018. At first, I wasn’t sure that we would need a day of coordinator, however looking back, I can’t imagine not having one. From the get go, Ernestine and Ros were super responsive, detailed and organized. They offered support and guidance start to finish. Throughout the entire process and especially leading up to the big day, I felt like Ros was a friend of mine, she is sassy and genuine and it’s obvious she loves what she does. The day of our wedding she made sure myself, my husband, our parents, the wedding party and our guests felt important. I shared my vision to Ros and she brought it to fruition and the night was absolutely magical. A few days after our event we realized we left a rental item in the Uber we took home. We were sure the item would not be located and we would be stuck paying for it but Ros went out of her way to contact the driver and retrieve the item. Ros and her team are amazing! Rosalyn and Ernestine were fantastic to work with. They thought of every detail and took care of everything we asked them to. They were great communicators and worked well with our venue staff. I loved their survival kit they gave me on the day of. It was filled with things like bobby pins, a brush, nail polish and more. They even brought breakfast for me and my bridesmaids the day of. Both Rosalyn and Ernestine worked extremely hard at the wedding. They arranged flowers, coordinated with the bridal party, directed the photographer and even danced with us. I wish I could give 10 out of 5 stars-- Ernestine was absolutely amazing and there is absolutely no way we could have gotten through our day without her. She was there for our rehearsal and really helped direct and help us envision how our day was supposed to go-- and just ask expected the day of it went perfect! Ernestine contacted all our vendors to make sure everyone was aligned and was definitely more than a "day of coordinator". She helped us with a day of timeline and made everything absolutely perfect. My Perfect Wedding Assistant was just that, perfect! I initially didn't think I really needed a day of coordinator but my goodness was I wrong. Roz and Ernestine were there anytime to help answer my millions of questions and helped ease my stress. They worked with the vendors so the weeks leading up to my wedding and the day of, absolutely everything was taken care of. They asked questions and helped do things that I didn't even think to ask or take care of. They were my calm and peace of mind. Rosalind and her mother Ernestine are my hero's!!! My Perfect Wedding Assistant exceeded ALL my expectations!! My daughter Samantha was married 9/9/17. We met these 2 superstars a few months before and knew they were the one's that could help make the day special. However, I did not know how much they would do that I had never even thought of!!! Everything from making sure all the décor was perfect, adding their own special touches with additions from their inventory, to giving me a hug when this nervous MOB needed it!! I truly cannot say enough about their professionalism, their ability to work amazingly with other vendors, their outgoings and understanding personalities, really added to the overall success of the day! Roz and her team is simply AMAZING! I can’t possibly express how grateful and lucky we were to have scored her and her team to help coordinate our wedding. Although we only hired her at a rate of a same day wedding coordinator, Roz and her team functioned like a full on wedding planner! The moment I finally got started connecting with vendors, Roz would take it upon herself to reach out to all of my vendors to ensure that she understands their terms outlined in the contract, as well as making sure that they all were kept apprised of important details of their roles in the wedding. EVERY SINGLE vendor she had interacted with had expressed to me on how impressed they were of her and how “on it” she was as well as what a great pleasure she was to work with – thus making their jobs a lot easier. Each one of our vendors were completely shocked to find out that she was supposedly only our “same day wedding coordinator”, because she seriously was functioning like a full wedding planner that’s even a lot better than most people. Furthermore, Roz and her team just don’t stop there – they went above and beyond everything and anything. Roz would go her way out of it to price shop rentals and offered to pick up the rentals and return them for me. She even bought decoration items and rented them off to me for half the price a normal rental place would have offered. She and her husband Ryan even stayed the night at the venue before the wedding so that they could set up everything ahead of time so that we don’t run into a time issue with all the decorations and set up of the wedding. Roz had to do some last minute improvisation with some of the décor and still managed to pull them off ever so beautifully! She and her husband made sure that the day of the wedding went as smoothly as possible. There were some unexpected events such as the heavy traffic with lane closures that delayed the ceremony, but Roz and her husband was quick on their feet and made accommodations to the delay so that the wedding didn’t get impacted significantly. Our wedding for the most part went seamlessly all because Roz and her team was so on top of everything that I couldn’t possibly ask for better! Again, words cannot possible describe how AMAZING Roz and her team was! We’ve received so many great compliments on our whole wedding and how it was one of the “most beautiful weddings” people have been to. I would totally have paid them 10 times the amount they charged, having known the level of work and effort and professionalism they exhibited! Let's just say a blessing in disguise. Our day of coordinator, Ernie was just that calm in the storm any bride needs. She emphasized on the importance of making the day be the best day ever. She took my plan and ran with it and also went over and beyond the typical duties of a coordinator, from offering to pickup/dropoff event rentals to making any recommendations needed (such as our bartending services). She was great at planning ahead for the just in case scenarios and her team on the day of we're so warm and helpful to our guests and family.
