If there ever were a dog-person, Larry is it! Dropped off my pooch and never worried about his care. Highly recommend.

After purchasing two puppies, I was diagnosed with serious health issues which required surgery as well as time away from home. It also prevented me from being able to teach my dogs basic skills, like walking without pulling.

Raising two puppies at the same time is very challenging, but inconsistent or missing training when they are young can be difficult to overcome. My Mindful Dog has brought us so much peace of mind. Larry and Laura are fantastic trainers and the boarding service they offer is beyond compare. Larry has gone above and beyond at every step, exceeding, not meeting our expectations. If I could give him 100 stars, I would.

The examples are too plentiful to mention, but one of our puppies had a serious bladder infection. Larry not only gave her the pills she needed, but he woke up in the middle of the night to take her out on many occasions, and disrupted his entire day, working with her, to help her learn to go outside rather than in the crate.

Our other puppy is an extremely rambunctious dog. He is prone to pulling when walking, which was of a huge concern to me as I recover from surgery. Larry again went above and beyond the call of duty, giving the dog special attention and walking him separately from the other dogs so that he could learn not to pull. We try to do this for our dogs, but didn't expect anyone else to do it. Of course, walking a dog separately is much different than teaching him not to pull. Larry taught him in two days what we struggled months to teach.

Taking your dog to my mindful dog isn't taking your dogs to a kennel. It is taking your dog to family. But more than family, it is taking your dog to a skilled, expert trainer who knows how to train dogs and what to do with them.

I could go on and on, but really, the best judge of the experience is the dogs themselves. They know the house, My Mindful Dog, and if we are close, they tell me then want to go say hi. More...

Larry - I just had to tell you how grateful I am. You changed our lives in terms of walking our dogs. Walking our older dog, Bessie, was dreadful - we literally had to pull her along on the walk and our younger dog, Duke, stopped EVERYWHERE to pee and smell other dogs exciting business. Your 2 suggestions of walking them prior to eating so that they get a reward for the walk and walking them in the street (safely) to a grass destination are miracles! Thanks so much, it's made a huge difference in the enjoyment level of our walks.
