I found Mustafa "Moose" Tinawi somewhat by accident when calling about a property, and we ended up being so lucky and happy to find him. Moose is a great Real Estate agent. We originally met at one of his property listings and he's proven himself to be one of the great agents serving the area.
He's got great communication, professional and it's obvious that he works hard negotiating for his clients to make sure they get the best deal.
I would definitely recommend having him at the top of your list when looking to buy or sell.

Mustafa was referred to me by a good friend. We were window-shopping for a few months and finally found something we LOVED and we were referred to him. I was so hesitant with the offer, but the sellers accepted our offer. We quickly learned that getting a loan would be a little difficult due to some complications that came up with the property. My mortgage broker's lenders would not deal with it. But Mustafa referred me to someone he worked closely with at a major lender. From the offer amount, to the loan, all the way through the entire transaction, Mustafa pretty much held my hand through every step. I was traveling, but even so but he continued to follow up with me every step of the way. He even came with us to sign the loan docs, which he definitely didn't have to.We closed escrow in 21 days and I’m so thankful I had Mustafa representing me. Mustafa Tinawi is a professional with much integrity and attention to detail! He goes out of his way to make sure that his clients understand the market and the specifics of each property. We have been working with him for an investment property for some time, as we waver in our commitment to this investment, and yet he continues to work with us with much patience. We worked with Mustafa to buy our family house in Concord. We were pretty engaged in the search process (Redfin filters, Trulia, etc) but Mustafa flagged properties for us multiple times that hadn't hit our radar. He let us know about both off market opportunities and houses that really stood out when went to view them in person. When we first met Mustafa "Moose", he explained that his job is more service than sales. He proved this time & time again with his thorough knowledge of home construction & of the local market. Every time we viewed a new property Moose would perform a methodical inspection, looking for signs of problems and making note of the quality of construction, finish, appliances, etc. Moose also led us through multiple rounds of negotiation to get to a price we were comfortable with. Mustafa was absolutely amazing, he helped my husband and I buy our very first home!
Being first time home buyers we had so many questions and concerns about the whole process.
Mustafa always got back to us quickly and made sure we were comfortable with the whole process. He even worked around our tricky work schedules so we could look at homes together. Once we found a home that spoke to us he was so patient and took us back to see it several times just so we could be “sure”. Once we knew it was the home we really wanted he moved fast to get our offer in and accepted. This was the first and only home we put a bid on, he knew how much it meant to us and he made it count. The best part is he got the sellers to lower their price and he even got them to include several thousand dollars in closing credits!
We could not have found a better person to help us with this life changing purchase! I would recommend Mustafa above all others, he was professional, patient, caring, knowledgeable and an excellent negotiator which exactly what you need for something as important as this.

As a first time home-buyer in SF, I was not familiar with the process and was somewhat nervous about navigating the SF real estate market.
Moose spent a considerable amount of time taking me through the ins-and-outs before I started my search and I immediately felt like I could trust him. He advised me on getting a pre-approval and referred me to a great mortgage company to work with. When I found a place I loved, and Moose was quick to respond to my call and got an offer in fast, advising me on the bid and other items to think about. The first offer we ever put down got accepted because his skills navigating the process. Post-offer, he was super responsive to calls and emails and happy to answer any questions I had.
