Corey completely changed the way we spend our time outdoors. Our golden doodle, Karleigh, could not control herself around other dogs—she barked and growled like a rabid beast—and we could not take her on walks or allow her outside during prime evening hours when our neighbors would walk their dogs. After working with Corey, we now have a normal dog. We do not have to constantly scold her for barking, and we can take her on walks without worrying that she will scare the neighbors. It has been life-changing for us and for our dog. More...

Corey - Pax, Odin and I want to thank you for all your help. At every visit it was always clear how much you love doing what you do. I feel like you listened to all my concerns and gave me the tools to correct these two knuckle heads behavior. We are all a work in progress but life with these two is a blessing and we are head over heels in love with our Boxers. Thanks to you for loving on them and for checking on our progress long after the lessons were over. We are grateful for your service. MEL—— More...

Corey was awesome to work with! She took great care in scheduling her appointments to accommodate our busy family schedule. She used a gentle and learnable approach to teach our 3 year old female Golden Doodle basic commands. These basic commands lay a groundwork that will establish a better relationship with our dog for years to come. Dogs are very intelligent animals and they want to learn. A lot of problems people have with dogs are because they (dogs) are bored or neglected. Corey taught us the proper way to teach our dog. When we go through our lessons / practice now, our dog is so excited and eager to learn. Being able to trust and enjoy our dog equates to a more enjoyable lifestyle. Corey is amazing! She helped train our stubborn dachshund, Jack, who had a barking problem and pulled on his leash...among other things! She was also great with our shepherd mix, Tanner. They both were soooo excited every week when she arrived (she photo of Jack waiting) and really looked forward to training with her and then with us. We can now walk them tandem, a miracle in itself!! Corey has been available for follow up questions and I can now call her a friend. I highly recommend Must Love Dogs KC! More...

Corey is amazing! She was extremely helpful with our new puppy Bo. She simplifies the training process, which makes her program easy to follow and effective. Corey considers the entire family when training and provides tools that even children can understand and implement. I would highly recommend Corey to anyone with a new puppy or a dog needing some additional obedience training. More...

Corey was highly recommended by our vet that we’ve trusted for over 14 years and she did not disappoint. She worked with our family when we recently got a new labradoodle puppy. We could not be more pleased with the training of Major (and of us humans). We receive regular complements on how well behaved he is. We went from him eating everything in sight and jumping on everyone who entered the house to a well-behaved pup who we adore and who is as happy as can be. As for the non-dog side of things, I appreciated her kindness and humor when I had all three kids home during training sessions and flexibility when we visited scheels with a moody 3 year old in tow. Corey rocks! I would hands down recommend her for new puppies as well as concerns with older dogs. More...

I have (2) one year old pups. We had been in a group setting for 6 lessons which did not work well. Our ver highly recommended Corey so I reached out. So glad I did! She is phenomenal!!! She so clearly connects with dogs. For one session she asked me to meet her at Home Depot. Surely she meant without my most difficult furry child! Nope!! I was terrified and reminded her of the lil troublemaker’s normal behavior. Still wanted to meet there. She was able to get this hyper, non-mannered dog to jump on a bag of topsail and stay!! What I kid you not, she’s a miracle worker. Plus, she’s a truly fantastic human. More...

Corey is the Dog Whisperer. Pure and simple. I have two little boys under the age of 3 and decided to add on a large breed puppy to my load of responsibilities. When I decided to take the plunge I knew I was going to need someone who could not only train the puppy but me as well! Corey is brilliant, inspiring and has a way with animals. It’s so cool to watch! She commands the room when she’s coaching and teaches you really awesome yet simple ways to help your pooch have manners & be a great family companion! So, two paws up from my pup and two thumbs up from me! You will not be sorry. Corey is worth her weight in gold! Best experience ever! More...

Corey is THE BEST, hands down. Our dog was the worst on a leash; choking himself, going after all things that moved...it was exhausting. Within 2 sessions, he was a completely different dog. Doesn't tug, doesn't choke himself, etc. It's actually fun to go on a leash with him now. Thank you, Corey!!! More...

My husband first saw Corey training a pup at a local store. He came home and said he saw the best trainer, I needed to call her ASAP, and the rest is history! Our dog Balto had been a source of frustration for nearly a year! Corey came for a consultation and I finally felt hope. I cried after the first training because I saw Balto in a totally different light. Throughout his training Corey heard our needs and helped Balto become a part of our family. He still has his quirks that make him, him, but he is a new dog! We had a family gathering and everyone commented about his behavior.... no crazy barking, followed my commands, and was calm enough to join in while the kids played! Thank you Must Love Dogs KC! We love Corey! More...

I simply cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we’ve had with Corey and Must Love Dogs KC!! She was referred to me from a friend and I couldn’t be happier we chose her! We started with our 1 year old Bernedoodle and moved on to our much more stubborn 5 year old lab mix rescue. They both immediately loved and responded to her... as did our entire family! She approaches training with humor but in a serious way. She is truly a dog whisperer and simplifies the process so even a busy family like ours can continue to train for life. Thank you for everything you’ve done for our family! More...

Finding Corey was the biggest blessing for our family. Our German Shepherd Sampson is a smart loving dog, but we needed training in order to learn how to control him better and to teach him better manners. Sampson adores Corey (we all do!) and loves all the tools we've learned from her. Before Corey we never would have imagined Sampson could go to places like Scheel's and Home Depot without losing his mind! With Corey's help Sampson's world has expanded and he is so much better behaved and so happy with his jobs (place, sit, stay, heel etc.) Training sessions were fun and Corey could answer any and all questions we had. She even sends report cards about what you've worked on- these were especially handy once our kids went back to school so that they could keep up with what we're working on. We highly recommend her- your relationship with your dog will be so much better! More...

I can't say enough good things about Corey. First of all, if you're thinking about it, but wondering if it "really works" - YES - her methods work. Our little goldendoodle was not "bad", he's not aggressive - he just had NO manners! Corey's encouraging, upbeat and loving methods worked absolute wonders for him. He no longer "pulls" on walks, hasn't chased a bunny in months (he wants to for sure - but looks up at me, I give him a "this way" command and he complies), he has learned NOT to do the things that aren't ok with us (he was famous for jumping up on our table, trying to pull food off the counter and digging in our garden - these behaviors are GONE). Other than her amazing and funny personality, and the fact that she makes whoever she sees feel like they are her favorite client and there is no where she'd rather be (because there isn't - she loves what she does and its obvious), I think my favorite thing about Corey's approach is that, though the commands are consistent, her training is tailored to each family. Before she started anything with us, she asked what our "rules" are (i.e., is he allowed on furniture or not, is he allowed to charge the fence and bark at other dogs or not) and what we want and that's what she focused on. She is in constant communication and if I didn't reach out to her for a while, she would send an e-mail to check in, and always encourage. We were so sad to have our final session, we're all considering making up a few new behaviors for her to correct, just so we can keep working with her!! This is a long review - but I started it with not being able to say enough good things. Corey is amazing. Anyone considering hiring her - do it - you'll love working with her. More...

Corey is amazing! We have a lab puppy and after having Corey work with him, he’s like a different dog! She is so good at what she does. ..firm but so loving with our pup and he learned so much from her! We have 3 kids that were involved in the process and Corey was patient with them and made them feel like an important part of the process. When Corey the doggie doctor sets you up for success, the dogs act perfectly, success... but does it translate the next day when you are with the pooches yourself? The answer is YES. Our goal of walking 2 big dogs, one a puppy and one a six year old, in an effortless, mannerly way was achieved on our lesson yesterday. TODAY WE DID IT ON OUR OWN! Corey you have changed our lives. We can walk together and enjoy ourselves. 2 thumbs up and 4 paws up rating from our home! More...
