The salsa lessons are well-organized, inexpensive, and fun. They run in six-week sessions, and you make progress every week, practicing what you learned during the previous classes, then adding more. Leah Calitri and Gabe have terrific chemistry (and a very handsome little boy), and they are expert dancers and teachers. I'm in level 2 and probably will just stay there for a while, because it's a great level for learning social dancing. I've also taken three private lessons with Leah who helped me a lot with my lead. There are people of all ages in the class, and we also have a social life. We go out for dinner sometimes and go to dance clubs together. Fantastic vibe. I should also say that the Bachata lessons are very good too. Jenna and Luis are excellent teachers, and bachata is a wonderfully smooth and romantic style of partner dancing. More...

Two words... SIMPLY AMAZING! I have recently joined Muevelo Dance Studio as part of Leah's Chicas in Malden and started taking Absolute Begginer Salsa. I have nothing but great things to say about this place. Leah Calitri truly is the definition of "loving what you do with purpose and passion". Her professionalism and teaching techniques are nurturing and fun, which promotes a positive community environment. Leah & Gabe are both amazing teachers AND people! Since coming to this studio I have performed on both their Performance Challenge Team as well as Leah’s Chicas. I couldn’t be any more thankful for the performance opportunities that they have given me as well as everything that they have taught me! I live an hour and a half away - in another state (not including traffic), and I continue to come to this studio! I have been coming to take classes here at Muevelo for a little over a year and out of all the schools in the Boston metropolitan area I feel really at home here. It is very fun to learn from Leah and Gabriel (main instructors) where everything introduced to us is always brand new, I also love the fact that there is very diverse and ample selections for learning I.e. Kizomba, bachata, etc. It is always a treat to be here surrounded with good company and great instructors I highly recommend and hope that many more people willing to learn join us to make Muevelo into a larger community.
