AMAZING! She did an amazing job with my hair, all I needed was my hair straightened and she did the damn thing, I walked out feeling so good because for the first time I finally found someone who could actually straighten my thick, long, curly coarse hair! From the start she was asking me the questions hairstylist will usually ask their first time client's, like what are coming in for, have you ever had your hair straightened before etc (since I was coming in to get it straightened). I loved how she was able to answer my non stop questions about her hair services, about what she uses in her hair, what she thought was best for my hair etc she was very informative and I appreciate her actually listening to my questions because some stylist I've been to have gotten annoyed when I ask questions! She's so great at keeping a conversation which is huge especially if your hair will take awhile, that is a skill that unfortunately not many stylist have. She made me feel very comfortable and confident which is one of my biggest things that I look for when looking for a new hair stylist/nail salon etc so needless to say she made me feel at home. BIG THANK YOU FOR WORKING WITH MY SCHEDULE!! My sisters wedding was a week away and I was so sad because I didn't have anyone to do my hair and I forgot to mention I had went to 2 people prior to her who were a waste of time and money! But anyways yes she was able to squeeze me in which was so awesome thank you again! I loved loved loved my hair I kept it straight for 4 days it was more of a personal preference I know I could've kept it for a week but I got over it because I'm not going to lie I'm a lil lazy with the whole wrapping of your hair to preserve it's silky straighteness lol it looked bomb and still felt so silky.  Her pricing is just right! If you want to get your hair slayed, if your looking for the best quality then you better be ready to pay for the best don't be cheap when it comes to your hair or anything else. New to California and was in dire need of a stylist. Found Mye online and gave her a call and she was able to get me in for an appointment fairly quickly. I got a relaxer and I can say this is the first relaxer where my hair has actually been straight. She's very kind and has outstanding customer service. She also recommended and provided me with products alongside a routine I should follow to keep my hair healthy! Already have an appointment scheduled and can't wait for my next visit. I had such a great experience with Mye. I moved to the area about 2 years ago and hadn't found a stylist yet so after going natural for a while I finally decided to find a stylist and get a relaxer again. My hair has been relaxed previously but has never felt so full and healthy afterward. She used a mild relaxer (which I don't think any stylist has done before on me) and it turned out great. Mye is impeccable! She always does wonders to my hair every time I go. I have thick African American hair and every time I leave it is bone straight, shiny, and lasts for weeks! Her expertise truly shows, and always makes time for her clients. I'm such a forgetful person but she always makes time to fit me into her busy schedule! She has cut, colored, and press & curled my hair and I trust her with anything!If you're looking for a good price & a great job in the Orange County area I suggest going to Mye. I have been getting my hair done since I was young, and she still exceeds my expectations. I have no straightening chemicals on my hair, and it can last for weeks in the heat without sweating out. I went to Mye last week for the first time. I recently moved to the area and needed to find a hair dresser ASAP. I saw her good reviews on Yelp, so I decided to try her out. Mind you, I'm someone who is very cautious in allowing people to do my hair. I've been with the same hair dresser for 20 years prior to me moving. So, Mye relaxed my hair and gave me a trim. She was so professional, she educated me on ways to better care for my hair, she was attentive to my needs and checked in with me to make sure I was pleased with her work throughout the process. Mye is so helpful with everything from start to finish. It was so hard to find a hair stylist for ethnic hair in my area. Mye was easy to get in contact with and set aside time for my appointment . Upon arriving unlike many salons she did not have me waiting at all and was not trying to do two or three other people at the same time. I needed a simple press and style and she did a Great job. I was running late so unfortunately when I got there a client that didn't confirm their appointment showed and she had long, thick gorgegous hair which delayed my hair for awhile but I didn't mind since I had cleared my schedule and Mye explained and apologized.

I moved from Philadelphia a few months ago and loved my stylist. I was so afraid of not finding a great stylist in Orange County that I even considered flying back every quarter just to get a great haircut. I know it sounds extreme but when it comes to your hair it's a game changer and you do what you need to do for a great look. Anyway, I logged onto Yelp and found Ms Mye. Was visiting from NYC and desperately needed my hair done since I didn't have time to visit a salon before I left. I got so lucky! I typed in "African American hair salons in Irvine, CA" in Google and about 3 showed up. I checked them all out on yelp and called to make appointments. Mye was the most pleasant and was able to squeeze me in on Easter weekend. On top of that, she seems very particular with scheduling, so I didn't feel rushed or have to wait an hour, everything was smooth sailing.I had a wash, deep condition, blow dry and straighten. I have natural hair and she had me looking like I had a relaxer or extensions! My hair has never looked this fly or healthy. I wish she could come back home with me to NY. I have been a client of Mye's for over twenty years! She specializes in various types of extensions, relaxers, short style cuts, and everything else under the sun! I have had her cut my hair in a bob, put long extensions in and do my relaxer! Every single time I have left feeling like a million dollars. She is attentive, patient and very hard working. Oh...I'm surprised to see that Mye has no reviews! Â Mye does all types of folks hair, but all I can really comment on is what I know. ..African-American hair. I have locs...Sisterlocks to be specific, and Mye does my color. Â She also colors my daughter's locs (who now lives in AZ, but still arranges for color with Mye when she visits home). Â When my daughter was a teen, Mye did her relaxers and high lights and even a very nice full-head weave around end of senior year/prom time.
