Came to visit from Charlotte for the weekend and so glad to have come across this restaurant! The service was extremely fast and the food was delicious and fresh. I work at Mr Fish and I was not a huge lover of seafood that has changed quite a bit I do have to say as a customer it is the best sea food I have eaten since I left Ireland over 20 year's ago it's top quality food and chefs

A very nice alternative to the all you can eat buffets that are everywhere at Myrtle Beach. I got the beer battered fish and chips. My friend got the clam strip platter. Both were very generous portions. The clam strips were very good. The fish was fried a few minutes longer than I'd like. The crust was crispy but rather dark. The fish inside was very good, so I guess my complaint was mostly esthetic and not of taste. Let's just say, I'd definitely recommend this restaurant. 3.7 stars for this place. For starters, the Hushpuppies were great. So good in fact, that it sets you up for disappointment; every dish thereafter didn't quite live up to our expectations. It was hit or miss. The raw oysters were not as fresh as I'd like, but they were acceptable. Prince Edward Island Mussels were very good. Seafood tacos were OK. Mr Fish was a pleasant experience. I'm not much of a buffet type person so that led us to Mr Fish. The staff was very welcoming, Our waiter was great, he made sure our needs were taken care of. To start off they bring out these hush puppies with honey butter, they are addictive. They have your typical fried dishes as well as some daily specials. My wife had the shrimp and grits and I decided to try one of the specials, the fried whole small flounder with fried shrimp, coleslaw and a baked potato. The flounder was flaky and the batter was light and crisp. It had a little more seasoning than I would have liked but overall it was good. The shrimp was good as well. My wife's shrimp and grits were a solid choice as well, more than she could eat. The food is wonderful. We went there 3 nights in a row. Everything we ate was outstanding! They start you with sweet hot hush puppies. We ordered these appetizers every night, crab balls and boom boom sprimp, excellent. They do not disappoint. We had the crab mac and cheese (my favorite) and the shrimp and grit (amazing). The flounder was sweet and the collard greens delish! They make their own sauces and so full of flavor.
