Nice little Gem in downtown Seattle. Plenty of light, great workspace, service is always spot on. Coffee and food is perfect. What could you ask for more?

Avocado toast was lacking on execution. The bread could have used more time in the toaster. Fruit bowls were good though.

I was here on a Sunday afternoon about 1pm. The place was busy and a bit noisy, but there were still places to sit. I had the smoked salmon toast. It was great.

Plants. Light. Friendly staff. Simply delicious share plates. And always seems to be *just enough* seats at the bar. What more could you want for happy hour?

Not bad but was a little disappointed. The coffee was a little under extracted and the grilled cheese was incredibly hard (at least the crust was - hurt my mouth). The environment is nice though, will try it again with their other food items. Hopefully coffee improves a bit though. More...

I love chai and kombucha. This place had both so I had both :) The chai was lightly sweet (which is why I hate Starbucks and their super sweet drinks) The pattern on the foam was cool as you can see. I also tried toast with pumpkin butter. They put a LOT of pumpkin butter on the toast but it was still good.Kudos to our waiter. We ordered and then sat down. 30 minutes later I wanted another kombucha but by then there were 15 people in line. Our waiter brought me another glass and ran my card himself instead of making me wait inline. Thank you! More...

I like the environment here and how much light comes through. It's very pleasant to come in the morning or even afternoon on a sunny day and sit outside. That being said, the coffee is fine, not great. Their food can be great, but it seems to vary day to day. I still enjoy coming here and find the little details of the place really cool (like their coffee stamp card). Would recommend 100% for atmosphere :) More...

Top place! Where should I start from? Food is all taste and quality and not too expensive. Ambience is top, there’s room to work or have a chat or just chill in a modern environment with open kitchen. I would be a regular customer if I lived around the area. More...

The fun toast selection made this a neat brunch adventure. I enjoyed the pumpkin spread with walnuts option. Only reason for a missing star was the mix up on my drink. Having ordered a speciality cappuccino I receive what tasted like a vanilla latte instead. Still delicious just unexpected :) More...

Awesome food, great service! Servers go above and beyond in delivering an unbeatable service (such as bringing a bottle/jug of water to us when we asked where we could get water. P.S. there’s a self-serve water station next to us). My friend and I got the same breakfast pastry item, but hers came with less berries than what’s on my plate. The server got her a bowl full of berries!Food was exceptionally good! More...

Every inch of this cafe is #aesthetics and their toasts are amazing. I’ve tried the Croque Monsieur, Italian, and Ricotta Berry? Each one is lovely in its own way. The Croque Monsieur is my favorite- that sauce they pour over it is magic and the toast itself is thick and fluffy yet crispy. The Ricotta Berry has a load of fresh berries on top and also basil!! My husband loves their Americano and I also love their Chai. I took my sister for her birthday brunch and she also loved it. It’s my happy place. More...

I came to Mr. West on a rainy day and, though packed, was immediately seated and provided with menus / recommendations by our accommodating waiter, Zeke. He was fantastic (even though we were super indecisive) and guided us towards the grilled cheese and tomato soup (a must have) and the baratta. Overall amazing service and amazing food. Definitely come here!! More...

I cannot rate this place highly enough - Such a wonderful atmosphere and the perfect place to stop for Breakfast/Lunch - possibly the best avocado on toast I have ever eaten - all ingredients are very well thought through and super fresh. Andrew was very welcoming when we sat at the bar and went above and beyond to make our experience pleasurable. Will definitely return on my next visit to Seattle. More...

In this rapidly shifting, changing, growing and morphing city, among the many changes in lifestyle, perhaps most especially among today's Urban professionals, is a very distinct evolution of hospitality concepts. Among these include this fusion of modern coffee shop, casual counter service with an option for full table service along with reasonably limited but exceptional offerings. What Mr. West does, they do very well. On the ground floor of 720 Olive in the heart of the city at the corner of 8th and Olive is this gem perfectly suited to meet the demands of the before work coffee crowd, lunch and any time breaks and post workday meetups & gatherings for a beer or wine after a long day. Try their arugula prosciutto salad or salmon toast and save room for their scrumptious chocolate marscapone with vanilla sugar & fresh seasonal fruit. More...
