What a great gym! There are so many free classes to choose from, the Childcare is amazing, the gym is very clean, the weight floor has everything you need! I am so glad I joined!

Love working out here! All the staff are super friendly, the gym is always clean and the group fitness classes are amazing! The gorgeous views don't hurt the workout either! The background music is a good variety and isn't playing too loud. They also have TV's on the gym floor and cardio machines which are great, I've even hooked up my Netflix to watch my shows while on the treadmill. This is by far the best gym I've ever been to! I personally do not have kids but you can see a giant bounce house when you walk in and it looks so fun. They also have like 80 classes a week so I can take some before class at 5:15 AM to 6:30 PM! How convenient!! I can also watch Netflix on the cardio equipment which is super cool?! They also get new equipment all the time and put cute little balloons on them which is a nice touch. I can also pick up a yummy protein shake after my workout at their in house cafe and they provide COMPLIMENTARY COFFEE! This place has everything. I've been a member for about 4 years. I've been to several gyms in the past, and even worked for one, and this is the best gym I've been to. The child care is the best I've ever experienced. Mountainside fitness centers are top notch! Always clean, loads of classes to choose from, and excellent teachers. I have first hand knowledge of their yoga instructors and they do not disappoint. As this is a difficult location to manage, James the general manager is always out in the parking lot taking care of individuals parking here, that shouldn’t. I've worked out at a lot of gyms...this one is different. The front desk staff is always friendly...and my favorite part.. .it doesn't smell!!! I love the variety of classes available. I started coming here a month ago and have really enjoyed it. I wish they offered more studio cycle classes and more classes earlier in the morning ie. before 8AM. The staff are very attentive and kind. Bathrooms and showers are spacious and clean, perfect to get ready in the morning. My biggest issue is they advertise that they have towels so you do not need to bring one from home, however, the towels are very small for bath towels and also rather rough. As an instructor in Mesa and a member I get to see both sides of this business. They are really amazing, take great care of their employees and their members, and are super focused on creating a great experience for everyone. I can't recommend this facility highly enough. I have belonged to a dozen different types of gyms. But I have never had the level of service or respect like I get at this location. I have social anxiety, told my trainer Andy Stone that I didn't think that I would ever do the classes, over the last few weeks, he's helped build my confidence and skills in the gym and I have started doing classes on Saturdays with Rebecca, she has such natural energy and joy you feel like her friend, and the girl at the front desk Amy, has taken note to remember my name, and tells me good morning BY MY NAME every day when I am there. I love this gym!! Ive been a member since January 2018. The facilities are clean, and the equipment well kept. Ive been to some of the other less expensive gyms and ill pay more to come here. The staff is so friendly and the personal training is top notch. One of the reasons i chose this gym is for the personal training, the price is reasonable and Todd is really good a putting you with a trainer to fit your needs and goals. My trainer austin rector is awesome, he holds you accountable and makes working out fun. I would recommend mountainside to anyone. Good clean gym. Just wished it had more equipment and that it included massage chairs. Showers Could use more water pressure too. Also go talk to Armando and Noelle the assistant manager! Both are great and will get you easily signed up into mountainside fitness and also be helpful for any additional help here. I actually reviewed a few other comments before I wrote this one, and noticed that several people placed bad reviews on a somewhat bad billing experience they've received without allowing management their due diligence. Let me see if I can redirect the negativity here.I was a member here last year, took a break and forgot to cancel, only to realize upon return that I'd accumulated a bill for unused gym time.I wasn't upset I know how this is supposed to go; they're a business and need to make money, but to my astonishment they reactivated my account and only charged me for my last month and the current - the same price to sign up for a new membership, thus saving a customer.Great points about this place:First: This is a perfect size gym ( you don't need to be Olympic to be awesome) and has all the RIGHT equipment needed to get a decent workout in, weather power lifting, cardio, and just general maintenance of health. Second: This location isn't over populated, allowing you to maximize your workout time, and the equipment is wiped down (seen employees wiping down during downtime). Any broken equipment is fixed ASAP (usually within a few days - only seen this happen twice). Third: Conveniently located with (2) parking areas next to the stadium.Unlike EOS ( which is the polar opposite of what was described above; and is completely corporate; working about nothing but the bottom line) Mountainside cares about their customers, if you have a bad experience, please don't be petty and take it online, let them re-earn your trust and money; it's quite literally their job, and they excel at it. After I originally left this review asking for a new bar Easton called me to assure me that they would be ordering a new bar and it arrived a couple days later! !! Great customer service!! I would like to second the request Annamarie Rasmussen, we REALLY need another women's bar in that area! There are so many women that use that area and for some movements it is really hard for us to use the bigger/fatter men's bars, so it can makes doing our workouts really difficult! Always greeted by a friendly face. The employees are always working hard to help the members. You can tell its a very members first mentality. There are so many options for people at all fitness levels and something to help me achieve my goals no matter how much they change or develop. I've taken the new Peak Performance class twice now once with Monica and once with Xao and loved both. I'm training with Shannon and she is super knowledgeable and is pushing me to be my best. I really like this place and I would love to continue to go here, but with planet fitness right across the street not only cheaper, but open 24/7 it looks enticing. Being a full time parent, school and work I can only squeeze in 30 minutes in the morning b4 work. Right when you guys open. Have you guys considered doing a 24/7 service or even opening sooner?
