Hello, and welcome. My name is Joel Thielke and I am the founder of Motivational Hypnotherapy. You might’ve seen me on BRAVO’s TV show, The Millionaire Matchmaker. I would like to tell you a little about myself and why I believe in the power of Hypnotherapy. Prior to becoming a Hypnotherapist, I was a Producer/Actor in Los Angeles, California. When I would be auditioning, or on set, I would hear people rave about Hypnosis. First off, at this time in my life I had this preconceived idea that it was a hoax.. which I believe is fairly common, but then.. I started seeing change. I started seeing these actors excel in areas they were constantly lacking, I would notice their nerves unraveling as soon as they walked onto the set, I noticed their focus and memory improve tenfold. I saw enlightenment. This is when I really began looking into hypnosis. I became fascinated with the subconscious mind, and the simple truth and overwhelming power of hypnosis. In 2005 I decided to make the career transition, and since then I have helped thousands of people make miraculous changes in my private practice, as well as my self-hypnosis audio programs.

As far as school goes; I received my certifications as, Certified Hypnotherapist, Certified Master Hypnotherapist, and Certified 7th Path Self-Hypnosis Teacher from, Banyan Hypnosis Center. I then received my certification as a Hypnotic Gastric Band System Practitioner at the famed, Jerry Valley Training Center. While training there I also received two certificates in Professional Stage Hypnosis. I received my diplomas as TimeLine Coach & Trauma Release Specialist, DreamSculpting, and NLP Life and Communication Specialist from Bennett/Stellar University. And I just recently became Society Certified as a Master NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Practitioner.

I am a member in good standing of The National Guild of Hypnotists, rated the Number One Hypnosis Organization by Congress in 1993. The National Guild is a well-established professional organization with an international membership and works tirelessly to keep its members up-to-date on the latest issues. I am also a member in good standing of the National Federation of Hypnotists. This federation represents physicians, nurses, chiropractors, podiatrists, acupuncturists, and midwives (just to name a few). And they have done more to protect the rights of hypnotists to practice than all of the other hypnotist organizations combined.
