My older sister and I have Celiac as well as my 16 yr old niece. It is a lot to take in/learn about and the staff here are so comforting. Answered our questions about the products (dairy safe w/celiac etc). My young niece was worried when she thought she "will never be able to have birthday cake again". I brought her and my older sister into Mixin it Up- and they LOVE the products! I bought her a cake- she loved it better than store bought one! We now will continue to buy GF cakes, bread and sweets here! I couldn't have asked for a better place to make us feel more at ease as my family all learn together about celiac! More than anything- thanks for healthy products for my niece- her smile when she loved the cake- I will never forge that!! And now her new favorite- your macaroons haha!! Definitely worth the stop! They have a great variety of gluten free goodies to fit all your cravings. It's so refreshing to be able to get gluten free goodies you can trust. They are happy to oblige if you need to order other allergen free bakery items. Just give them a call and they are happy to do their best to meet your dietary restriction. The bakery items are delicious . You wouldn't know they are gf. I have never been dissapointed! The prices are very competitive for the quality, taste, and reassurance of freshness and gf. My mom is always trying to find GF goodies for me whenever I am home for the holidays. This is the second year in a row we have gotten the Christmas cookie platter. What can I say! It is so wonderful being able to have a large variety of delicious cookies to enjoy. When my brother was told the red velvet cake ball he was eating was GF, his response was "Wow!" This is a cute little bakery with a pretty decent selection of gluten free baked goods.Bread, cookies, donuts & rolls fill the glass cases while sample cakes of all sorts are displayed on shelves. They also carry a few other local products including soup mixes, honey, and cage free eggs. The prices are high compared to regular bakery prices but very reasonable when compared to other gluten free products that are available. We ordered a custom cake for our son's graduation party to honor his passion of music, and our guests were so floored at the quality of the cake they could hardly believe that it was an actual cake and not a statue or prop. The professional quality and presentation would have in itself earned the 5 stars - but even if it hadn't been beautiful beyond our expectations the taste would have warranted a 5 star rating. The cake was moist, flavorful, and truly the highlight of our event. We do not need to eat Gluten free so we also enjoy regular cake and treats from time to time - but honestly this was so much better than any "regular" cake we have ever had. Well done Mixin it Up!
