Stopped in for a late lunch and boy are we glad we did! We loved our 1/4 rack of ribs and the baked beans are just great. We will definitely be back. Recommend you give this a try!

Great smoked bbq meat! I had the 3 meat platter, and it was really good! It took a little bit of time to get the food, but it was well worth the wait! We'll be back for sure!

Came here once on business, didn’t eat. CAME BACK because I couldn’t get the amazing smell out of my mind. Will continue coming back for the amazing food and staff- try the buttermilk pie!!

Ran into this place in the plaza on chinden and wow what a surprise! They had some good quality bbq and for pretty dang good prices. I got the brisket sandwich because I truly believe if they can make a good brisket they can make everything else amazing. First bite into the sandwich WOW. POW in the face with some juicy meaty goodness. Only thing i would suggest for this place is the missing crunch. The sandwich was just chopped up brisket and meat. Dont get me wrong that's amazing but i kind of wish it came with some crunchy slaw or some thing to balance the heavy meat. They do come with sides but i had to try the mac and cheese. They do charge an extra 1.50$ for it but man is it worth it. So cheesy and lots of cheesy flavor. Maybe next time ill try the slaw and just put it on my sandwich. More...

Mister.BBQ is the most incredible bbq in the area, hands down. The smell from the outside is enough to lure you in for a meal. The Shrimp & Grits (on special usually) is a fave in addition to the Tri-tip. When I need to eat healthy I stock up on smoked turkey by the pound. Rumor has it they are offering cajun deep fried turkeys for thanksgiving which saves me a ton. More...

Great BBQ....ordered brisket and ribs...guy that brought out the brisket gave me a fork and napkin...no knife.....you didn't need one, the brisket was so tender you could cut it with a fork! !! Not only tender, but very, very tasty....as were the ribs!!! How I measure BBQ, if you need to drown the meat in BBQ sauce, it's all about the sauce, not the meat!!! The ribs and brisket had such a wonderful smoke flavor, you didn't need bbq sauce....that's good bbq!!!They don't have their beer license yet, that was the only negative...however there is a brewery close by where you can get beer and bring it onto Mister BBQ....great plCe I will return!!! First, I would not call this Texas-style BBQ, but more of a Southern-style BBQ. We had the spare-ribs, baby-back ribs and brisket. It's a thicker cut of brisket than you will get at some place like Goodwood. Some mentioned fatty meat, but that's just not the case. The center of the brisket is marbled as a good cut of brisket should be. The ends of the smoked ribs weren't as tender as the center, but that, too is to be expected. In fact the ends were the best part for me, as they packed a ton of smoked flavor. The cole-slaw is unique, vinegar based, not mayo, and it was cole slaw I would eat again. I didn't get to try the baked beans, because they were gone before I got them. (next time I will order more.) The buttermilk (chess pie?) pie was also a hit for the evening. It's definitely a place I will order take-out again and would consider their catering. The actual restaurant is pretty simple fair with a ton of tables and chairs. Best BBQ in town!! We've been across America and had BBQ from everywhere. This is mouthwatering delicious. We went 3 times in 10 days it's so good. My husband is from the south and from a line of BBQ masters. He said this guy definitely knows what he's doing and he's doing everything right!! The brisket melts in your mouth. The ribs have great flavor all the way to the bone. The chicken is perfectly cooked and delicious. We like ordering meat in bulk and taking it home to eat for a couple days. It's still good reheated. The evening female employee is extremely friendly and tentative. She hasn't been there long but goes out of her way to help out in every way she can.
