We hired Mint Catering for our wedding reception as Mint was our final choice after doing food tasting of few approved vendors allowed at our Venue i. e. Leonard’s Palazzo, Great Neck. It was such a pleasure to deal with Mr. Gary Sikka the owner for Mint Garden city, to over the menu, he was so warm, treated us like family and the whole experience was seamless. On the wedding reception we were ofcourse stressed that everything should go as planned with decorations, Music, food, photography etc. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the Indian food catering by Mint. Everyone loved the food so much. Excellent food all around for both appetizers and main course. During cocktail hour the The Pani puri fountain, chat section, non veg appetizers etc were a big hit with the crowd. For the main course fish Manchurian, butter chicken, malai kofta, dal makhni was absolutely perfect. Mint restaurant, I passed by many times. But, never knew it was here, never noticed. It's located within Roosevelt Field, next to the Girl Scott Cookie office. They have a club. But, they also have a private party section. It's wonderful roof top setting with sofas behind sheer curtains and table and chairs. For dinner, The Mint, offers buffet on certain days and ala cart menu. My favorite is the sea bass, and it is delicious. All their dishes are excellent.
