Mike Todd Fitness is probably one of the BEST things that happened to me in my "adult" life ("adult" in quotation marks since idk if I am yet qualified to be called that haha). I have been just wanting to change my lifestyle without the push and supportive community and Mike Todd Fitness promotion appeared on my feed like a magical solution. Though I do use the word magic, it is by no means easy or dream-like in the sense that there was a lot of pain and even more sweat. However, the trainers are all amazing and very coordinated to give you the best sessions that incrementally build your stamina and endurance. The nutrition plan is quite on the extreme side but it really does help you shift your mindset about all the different kinds of foods you have been eating without thinking. Overall, this made me think differently, behave differently, moderate my intake, make AMAZING new friends from the challenge, and of course lose significant weight and build my confidence again. tl;dr - Mike and his team are FANTASTIC! I 110% recommend!!!!

I joined the challenge because I reached a point where I felt I needed a drastic intervention. I had been consistently gaining weight over 2 years and had reached a point where none of my clothes really fit anymore, but I was not willing to buy new clothes at the next size up. I didn’t know how/where to start on my own, but one day, a random FB add popped up, and I clicked on it, and the rest is history!

The training staff is excellent! I had nearly all of my sessions with Bo, who I can’t speak more highly of. She makes an effort to get to know each of her clients beyond the workouts, and always challenged us every session! Bo was great at pushing us to our limits, challenging us to meet and reach new goals with each exercise, and did so in a way that still felt safe and controlled. The nutrition advice was also very helpful and easy to follow. Both Mike and Bo were very knowledgable about nutrition as well as how it relates to specific health conditions (which I don’t have, but I appreciated their knowledgeability).

I’m not going to say Mike, his team, and the challenge changed my life, because that’s super cliche. But I will honestly say that the challenge helped me to take back my life. I’m now fitting all my old clothes and on my way to being in the best shape I was in a few years ago.

Whether you’re looking to make a drastic change like I was, or to tone/target specific areas, or to meet a short term goal, Mike and his team will help you reach whatever goal(s) you have!

I was shown a challenge by a friend of mine sitting one day doing mommy chores and through her prodding decided to check out. I must say I owe that friend the largest possible thank you. Sitting with Mike during the consultation his absolute conviction is his program was hard to miss. He excuded so much confidence not only in his methods but that I could actually do it, he was so sure that I had to sign up. It turned out to be the best decision I made in the last decade at least . Meeting Laura that first Wednesday evening and then Bo that Saturday morning bought two confident wonderful woman into my life. They never gave up on me when I did my first lunge practically falling over to now being able to do lunge jumps ! The burpees oh my ! I thought I would die right then and there but now I can knock out 10 !! The transformation has been nothing short of miraculous in such a short time. My confidence has skyrocketed I am sure on my feet and feel amazing. The diet plan Mike gives you is easy to follow and though the challenge is over what I have learned will stay with me. Why am I here?
6 weeks ago my friend sent me a Mike Todd Fitness add about the "6 week Challenge" that seemed interesting. At first, I was a little skeptical about a program promising that with an assigned meal plan and an exercise program lasting 3 times a week for 6 weeks, participant can lose over 25 lbs and/or 6% body fat, depending on a current weight in addition to a toned body. It seemed a little unrealistic to make my body look so much better in such a short period of time. I didn't have to lose 25 lb, 12-14 lb was my goal, just so I could go back to my old weight. Instead, what I needed was to feel better, less despondent.
After consultation with Mike I was convinced that I could do it!
I always tried to be active, doing mostly cardio exercises - hiking, scuba diving, jogging, bike riding... However, for the past 1.5 years I was inconsistent with taking care of regular exercising practice, mostly due to lack of time and energy. The more tired I was the more excuses I had. In addition to that, I was overworked and often did not exercise healthy eating habits. Too much of my sweet nemesis, sugar.
I decided to give it a try - after all, I could at least see if I still have the self discipline I used to have in me.
I have one more session left to finish the challenge. 17 of those 18 training sessions I had so far were with a wonderful and knowledgeable fitness trainer and nutrition specialist Bo Van Kan. After 1st session I couldn't walk because my sore muscles were on fire. Bo never gave up on me despite all the pain. The more I practiced, the stronger I became. I didn't give up, but instead I kept pushing beyond what I thought were my limits...
I saw difference in how my body looked every consequent week of training. I was leaner, stronger, ate healthier, felt better and had more energy. I became more knowledgeable of nutrition my body needs, more motivated and self disciplined.
Although Bo was my trainer, all trainers at Mike Todd Fitness were always available to assist, answer questions and reply to messages beyond training hours.
I cannot thank Mike Todd and his team enough for helping me achieve all the changes I needed. It's a new path I follow and will continue from now on.

If you are looking for a fun and inspiring workout, change in your usual routine, and results in the way you feel, look, exercise, sleep, hydrate, and eat - I would highly recommend working with Mike Todd Fitness trainers. In just 6 weeks, they taught me how to transform my body with: exercise (strength training 3x/week, 1 hour each and cardio that I enjoyed 1-2 times per week); eating meals that were much more balanced with protein, carbs and vegetables; hydrating my body; creating a healthy routine for exercise, resting, and better sleeping; and an overall wonderful relationship with my body and healthy lifestyle. My resting heart rate improved, I slept better, I felt more energetic, and just felt and looked really toned! Highly recommend Mike and Bo as I had worked with them directly, and while they are wonderful professionals, they are also amazingly nice and down-to-earth people who will take the time to explain and teach you, not just show you. I am so happy with my results physically and mentally. I can't thank Mike Todd enough for making a diet that was not only satiating but also easy to follow. My trainer Bo was an amazing coach, cheerleader, and role model. The small group participants were also great supporters and cheerleaders. The 6 week challenge was not easy but nothing worthwhile is. Hello, today I’m going to share my personal experience @ Mike Todd fitness; the 6 week challenge has helped me discover a new me. I was never committed to any workout routine nor healthy eating regimen, I had tried different ways of staying in shape with no luck because everything else seemed hard, this wasn’t the case with Mike’s program as they motivated and guided me through the process, always showing me the support I needed to stay on track.

When I first started the challenge I was very skeptical thinking I was never going to see results or a difference in my body, how wrong was I, within the first few days I started feeling an inner strength that I had never felt before, my body was being molded an given a new and awesome transformation, I noticed how my energy level went up, I was feeling and looking younger, nice!

I am very pleased with this experience and with my overall results, my coach Mike is so supportive, always there for me answering all my concerns and encouraging me with all his ideas and tips on how to keep a healthier lifestyle, not to mention my personal trainers Laura an Bo, they are great as they know how to identify your specific needs and target your concerns, they are very focused and always motivated me so that I could feel confident in what I was doing and bring out the best of me. These team went above and beyond to help me they are extra patient but at the same time know how to get the best results by putting the right amount of pressure on you so that you don’t feel overwhelmed.

This program is hands down the best I have tried and the only one that has given me the results I was looking for. Thank You!

I just conpleted a 6 week challenge promotion program hosted by Mike Todd Fitness. Although the last week I have been traveling, I have kept the lessons I learned from this community in mind and didnt go crazy. So I have officially lost about 13 pounds and 5.6% body fat. I call this a success and win. Mike Todd and his fitness program has been a life-changing experience and I will cherish this and continue this journey. I have to confess after my final weigh-in and body fat check, I ate quite a bit today but not to worry because I will get right back on track ;) One thing I want to share is this: I always wondered what it took to do something like this challenge. How people just started to make that turn in life and say "no more, im sick of the old me". I always thought there was a magic answer. Then during this challenge many had asked me, how I (just like that) stopped having desserts (bc literally I would have a dessert after EVERY SINGLE meal) altogether. And it's simple. I just did. It turns out there is NO magic answer, silver bullet solution, so we need to stop chasing that. You just do it, you just start. Personal training is a considerable investment both monetarily and physically. Everyone definitely wants to spend the money and effort wisely. There is no doubt that my experience with Mike and his team is worth every penny :). Here are the reasons:Firstly, this is a training for body and it is a HEALTH decision - I don't want to achieve certain physical goals at the expense of harming myself,. Hence the bottom-line criteria for me is to choose a trainer who knows his/her stuff well. I checked Mike's profile and compared it against several others in the city (strongly advised newbies to do so). I found that he had a rich knowledge base in both the training itself and the nutrition, which led me to approach his team at the beginning. The subsequent training sessions with him proved so. He is not a type of trainer who only demos exercises and just pushes your limit. He talks about the sciences behind them - which parts of the the body I am practicing; why I should avoid certain incorrect postures which can hurt my joints; how I should adapt exercises to not to exacerbate my old injuries. He is very professional and I trust the training and health advice his team provides.Secondly, a personal trainer needs to be PERSONAL - the training session should be tailored to a particular client, and Mike/his team again aces at this. Everyone's has different goals and different bodies. Mike didn't get us to start the session immediately, but he arranged a complementary session first, surveying my physical goals and assessing my physical conditions thoroughly. So Mike knew clearly what I can't do and my body limits even before I started the first actual session. More importantly, they do know me as a person and they keep track of my progress - so I don't feel that I am just "another client'. Mike and his team follows up with me the next day after the training. They pay close attentions to any recent physical changes/injuries or questions/concerns I have. They even remember some personal stories I shared during the break time. After all, they are just really nice, easygoing and people. Do get me wrong, they can be really "evil" and push me to do excruciating combos when I am trying to be lazy :)If you are looking for a personal trainer, I highly recommend to give Mike Todd Fitness a shot. There is no need to make a commitment right away. When I started, I called him directly and tried only 4 sessions just to see him in action and clear my doubts. If all of these reviews are giving you headache, I think you should do the same. However, I bet I will agree with me that he and his team is enjoyable to work with and worth every penny. More...

Mike and Bo are fantastic trainers! As someone who didn't have much knowledge around the gym when I first started, I was pretty nervous to begin training but am SO glad I decided to do so with Mike Todd Fitness. Mike was the BEST personal trainer I've ever worked with and helped me make significant progress toward weight loss goals in a quick but still healthy amount of time. I saw other trainers, did tons of workout classes, and did not start seeing results until I started seeing Mike. He places a good emphasis on diet and takes a very balanced approach. This review is long overdue.I have had many trainers and experienced many "classes" in the city but by far, Mike delivers results. He gets you on the human level. He is not shouting and demeaning, he is encouraging and educating.  Mike will always tell you why you are doing something and how that effects the body. He makes sure you are listening to your body and going full out but stopping before an injury occurs.What is most important is that Mike is smart and isn't just someone who woke up and started training at a gym. He has devoted himself to physical fitness and nutrition and gained a masters degree. His passion and wanting his clients to succeed is electric.  He has gotten me in some pretty great shape and most importantly he is a really fantastic human being. I've seen a couple friends do a boot camp with another place once... and it kind of seemed... formulaic and brutal. Not a fun experience at all. So I never joined...I was around the volleyball courts of Sunset Park one day and I saw RBBC... looked a little more like a challenging game show (I am a game show nerd so I walked over).Easily the best boot camp I have ever seen, and the first and only I'd want to be a part of. The classes are challenging, but aren't mindnumbing. You are actually engaged. Mike switches things up every class so the things you did on Monday aren't necessarily the things you'll do Tuesday. And (the gameshow part), there is a game at the end of every workout, which literally milks every last drop of competitiveness you have.Great classes, awesome instructor, and totally not monotonous. And the price was pretty solid too. Can't complain. (That and if I did, he'd probably make me do more burpees) More...

I can't even tell you how amazing this boot camp is!! I had been trying out different fitness groups to no avail. Then I found Mike's bot camp and was instantly hooked. I can go at my own pace with this boot camp and still get into rocking shape. I can already see a difference in my legs and arms after less than 2 weeks plus Mike is so helpful with helping me correct my form. I was bullied when I was young and found myself in a life or death situation with these bullies, unable to defend myself. After clearing through that situation I resolved in myself that i was never going to be small nor weak again. I will give myself the best chance to take whatever life has to throw at me.

Later in life it became me not wanting to watch family and friends continue to get sick and waste away. I wanted to help people live longer, healthier, fitter lives through better nutrition and fitness.

We are the best. Plain and simple. We care about every client and treat each of them like family. We have company parties every year, we get involved in goals such as joining clients taking on their first half marathon, triathlon, obstacle race, etc. We are right there beside them not only pushing them, but pushing ourselves.
