First off let me just say that Mike has absolutely changed my life. Not only just physically, but mentally as well. When I first saw Mike in April I was 257 lbs 51% body fat, it was really hard for me to accept that I needed help to get healthy. My girlfriend begged me to go see him to try and get ourselves healthy again and I just kept putting it off because I knew it was expensive and just didn’t want to put in the work. Finally we went to see him and I was 100% on board right away. He’s changed the way I think about food, and how I go about my life everyday as far as exercise and making healthy food decisions. I wouldn’t be where I am today without his guidance and advice. He taught me things about cardio and weight training that I never knew playing sports growing up and how to do things the proper way. Today I’m 206 lbs and about 38% body fat in about 19-20 weeks. Im the only client he’s had who has consistently lost body fat every single week. So I’m here to tell you whatever it costs, it works. It's difficult for me to even begin to describe how lucky I am to have found Mike and how grateful I am to him for changing not only my body but my life! I was introduce to Mike less than 3 months ago and from that time my eyes have been open to the fact that even with my extensive education I was missing the most strategic and important aspects of my own personal health. I have played sports most of my life, read and studied books on health and nutrition and spent years in the weight room only to find myself old, fat and hating every aspect of what was staring back at me in the mirror. Mike changed all that, he implemented a basic but strategic diet planed coupled with cardio targeted specific to weight loss. Within a month the results were staggering. after some weekly tweaks and tightening of the dietary outlines by the end of two months I reached a weight that I haven't seen in years and every item of clothing I own barely fits. I am now short of 3 months and have lost 20lbs. You may not think that is a lot but it is the way and areas that I have changed that are the most dramatic. down 22lbs of pure body fat, gained 2lbs of muscle, body fat % down from 36.1% to 29.5%, and I have lost 4 inches of my waist. I am a teacher, soccer and basketball coach, who has a few health problems and am in the middle of planning a wedding. I’ve been wanting to get back into shape for the past few years but really didn’t know where to start. Mike has been great at helping me build a meal plan that works with my health needs and my busy schedule. So far I have lost 15 pounds, I’m down 3.5% body fat, I’ve lost 2 1/2 inches on my waist and 3 off my hips and I have only been working with Mike for 2 1/2 months. I can’t say enough good things about Mike Manfre. Not only is he the most amazing coach on the planet when it comes to meal plans and exercising but he will be your biggest and best cheerleader in all aspects of life. He truly gets to know you as a client inside and out. On days when I’m struggling he is right there to give me a little push. He tailors your diet to fit your likes and dislikes and any restrictions you have. When it’s time for check-ins he isn’t just asking about your weight on the scale or your measurements (although that is part of it) but he genuinely is asking about how you are doing as a whole person how your motivation is, how your mental health is, how your self confidence is. Mike Manfre is TRUE PROFESSIONAL at what he does. For the last 4 years I do some crazy crash diet one month before summer drop ten pounds and never a pound more. Just to gain it all back a few months later. This year I went into my health goals with a different mindset. I have struggled with weight for most of my life where it used to make me incredibly insecure. I’ve come to a point in my life where I truly love myself and know my worth, the scale and looks aside, but I also know my potential. I’m at a point where I am willing to ask for help to reach it. I used to think will power was everything, and would beat myself up for not being able to achieve the results I used to get by doing what worked when I was 18 and in my early 20’s. Looking back, it’s not like I lost weight healthily then, and what worked then just isn’t working now. I decided to get help from a professional, and someone who is known for getting results. What I loved about meeting Mike was when he said - if I want to lose some crazy amount of pounds a week (or some quick fix), then he’s not the guy for me - that made me KNOW that he would healthily help me make life-changes. I don’t need a fad. I need a coach. I need permanent change. I’ve lost about 15 pounds since recently signing up within just a short time ago here (Just shy of 2 months) - and I can say - I eat more than I ever have while losing weight. Mike has been helping me since Aug 2015 and he is an excellent fitness trainer and nutritionist. I have lost 23 lbs in just over 3 months. Mike also has great advice and very positive. This is not Biggest Loser where you are losing 20 lbs a week this is losing fat and gaining muscle the right way. Your not working out 6 hrs a day on 1000 calories. I never feel hungry or thirsty. Mike is the best investment in myself that I’ve ever made, and he’s freakin AWESOME. I went to him because I wanted to lose fat slowly (to avoid any extreme approaches) but still increase in strength because I’m a college athlete and weightlift a lot. Mike worked with me to create the perfect plan and kept making changes until we found exactly what works best for ME. I’ve been making consistent progress, and the best part is I’ve still been able to gain muscle and get stronger in my workouts.
Initially I wanted to space out my visits at least 2 weeks to “save money”, but the biggest changes only happened when I started seeing him every week. Less time between check-ins really made me feel more accountable and follow the plan much better. I would recommend Mike to anyone, and especially recommend that you see him weekly to get the best and quickest results. Knowledge aside, the important difference between trying to lose weight (or whatever your goal is) by yourself vs with Mike is ACCOUNTABILITY, and it makes ALLLL the difference.

Been going to Mike now for 9 weeks.  Although I am trying to get my body fat down I'm not his typical client that is trying to lose a lot of weight. My goal from the beginning was to go from 20% body fat down to 10% and put on 15 - 20 lbs of muscle.  Nine weeks into it and I'm already almost halfway to my body fat goal and I've put on about 8lbs of muscle!  Needless to say I'm feeling really good and pretty excited about it.  Love having my (flexible) meal plan created for me and it's awesome meeting with Mike every week to get my measurements done and make sure I'm making progress.  Not to mention the accountability every week, that's huge.  Love this guy!  Don't hesitate!
