Brunch with a B A N G ! Terrific breakfast brunch eatery with a cozy, spacious interior and an expansive menu that has something for all tastes. Donna real has something special cooking out here in Staten Island! In our party of five, we had two steak and eggs, the breakfast pizza, the burrito bowl, and shrimp + grits with creme brûlée cappuccinos and pancakes for dessert. Amazing drinks and service. They were so nice to my daughter and her friends when there for her 16th birthday. Breakfast is so yummy and if you check wait times for them on this app you can preregister to be on the seating list.

Food is good. Wait isn't always great or my favorite when I'm hungry for breakfast or brunch the hot chocolates are a but too much and ridic for me to ask as party of an actual meal.  I  prefer coffee as a drink for my morning breakfast. The food is always hot which is while you wait for it longer and then typical I think that the prices are a little over the top but however the food is very good and the staff is very  attentive. I am new to yelp! But i had to post my expirence at project brunch from last month. I walked into a crowd of people on a busy Saturday morning . I was instantly greeted by an employee who took my name down as well as told me the wait time and how i cannot be seated unless my whole party was present (which is expected). As i was sitting there waiting i see the girl who greeted me taking orders at tables as well as cleaning the tables and sitting the tables. After 10 minutes of me being there a women started to raise her voice to this girl about how she needs to sit down and "how she doesn't know how to run a business". Personally i would of told the women to see her self out but this girl held herself so professionally. She sat her right away. Once i was sat, the same girl took my order and waited on me. I have never encountered such attentive service. Every waitress there was running around as well. Between the chaos she was dealing with in the front and waiting tables i was truly amazed. She made excellent suggestions for a first timer. I got the BEC. It was out of this world. As i received the check i asked the waitress her name (Michelle) and told her how she was doing a fabulous job. She thanked me up and down as if people never gave her compliments before . Discovered this place few weeks ago when we went to try it and we have been there almost every weekend since. Their food is delicious, their quantities are generous and the service is great. The decoration of the place is fun and very laidback, it's a truly family restaurant where everyone can go to enjoy brunch on the weekend and relax. The atmosphere is great. Their menu is very extensive and their prices are very reasonable for what you get. You can get a great meal for a very good reasonable price. We always order the BLAT Benny and the SEC breakfast with the peach mimosa and we end up extremely satisfied with the food and totally full. Place is great.  Love the Vibe.  It's warm and cozy and the decor is cool.   You don't feel like you're eating in an old diner.   Even when the wait is long, they check up on you.  That doesn't make your table come any faster but what it does do is show you they care for their customers and their patronage which goes a long way.   The food is off the charts.  I've yet to have a meal I didn't  love.  I recommend the corned beef hash to go along with anything.  The portions are big, and more important they are quality.   Place is great. Food is excellent and very different. But plan to be there for hours. People just sit at there tables even long after they are done eating. I asked the manager to tell these people if there done eating to give up the table. And she said she can't cause she would lose her job. I counted 15 people that left because of the wait. PROJECT BRUNCH you're losing a ton of money to people who are not willing to wait an hour to sit down and 35 mins to get your food. That's 2 hour breakfast. Make some kind of policy that when your done eating you have to give up your table to people who are waiting to eat. They could go bullshit in their cars or outside. Tried this place for the first time today. And I think it's going to be my favorite place for breakfast and brunch in Staten Island. 3.5 stars rounded up to 4 because the service was great.  Location has to be taken into consideration when reviewing and I have in this review.  If this were a location in Brooklyn it would likely be 1 star less because of the competition.  However imho there aren't as many options on the island.  The food was good and I would go back if we were in the area.  I had the steak and eggs served in the sizzling hot skillet.  While this lends for a great looking presentation it did end up burning my potatoes and arugula & over-cooked the steak.  I would order  it again but just ask for it in a plate instead.  Pancakes we shared were fantastic - harder to find good pancakes out than it should be.  If you're in the area check it out. I was pleasantly surprise with this place as I didn't know anyone who had tried it before.First, it is open from 8am to 8pm, which was a shock to me since this is marketed as brunch, but not complaining :) ! Second, they have a full bar with a wide array of drinks. They have those drinks that look like juice packs, which are always fun, along with your average mimosa, bloody mary, etc.Third, Â THE FOOD. Sooooo many options. It took me a solid ten minutes to chose something. I got the burrito bowl with pulled pork and my mom got the corn beef hash. The pulled pork was AMAZING. I would have had a whole bowl of just that. The corn beef hash had large chunks and was served on a sizzling skillet. It was a nice twist on your average breakfast food. Right in the middle of where you would think not to find anything great, the staff is friendly, and they have a good amount of vegetarian options (i. g: avocado toast). We have been enjoying Project Brunch since they opened over 2 yrs ago. They never disappoint. Â Every week they offer the most inspired creations, never a boring experience. The place has a Williamsburg vibe. Jodie is a genius when it comes to concocting new dishes, don't know how she manages this consistent level of creativity. It's not like a Diner that throws food at you, there is a bit of a wait. That's because everything is created especially for you, perfection can't be rushed. So let's talk about Project Brunch located 4553 Arthur Kill Road,New York, opened 7:00AM- 3:00PM I finally made it there completely unexpected I usually never do that. I walked in with My 2 1/2 year old date was greeted by 2 people with smiles on there faces which means a lot to me, was seated within 3 minutes excellent.The table and Restaurant were very clean as were the staff, the Cook was smiling which means everything is coming out of that kitchen with love poured all over it as it was. He wasn't bad to look at either. I asked my waiter for recommendation he leaned me towards the BLT, I said that's my favorite for Brunch but this wasn't a boring regular BLT, this was the best BLT on the Island. Made with premier ingredients the tomatoes were sliced to perfection then made in a batter, did I say blew my mind then the Bacon was premier quality just the right thickness, then made with a Chipotle sauce and instead of lettuce Baby Arugula drop the mic. My Date ordered Chicken fingers & fries, when it arrived it was the best looking Children's Meal of course I tasted the quality of the Chicken was very good, the taste & the color were excellent well done  yes I recommend Project Brunch can't wait to go back and taste something else off the menu. To be honest I'd probably rate this a 3.5/5. Â The food is absolutely delicious and the prices are very reasonable, but the service is a 2/5 Â They seem to be understaffed and not able to dedicate the necessary attention to each customer. Â I've been here two times in the last week and had the same experience. Â I've ordered the Steak + Eggs Benny special (8/10), Avo Toast (6.5/10), and Breakfast Quesadilla (8.5/10). Hunger brought me here on a Friday afternoon. I had heard about it but decided to try it. I'm a native Staten islander and can say that we need more spots like this. Brunch is a concept that hasn't yet swept staten island so it's nice to have a treasure like this. My server was very cool--I was seated quickly and didn't have to wait long for my food. This place is cool because it has so many unique foods to choose from. Endless sweet tooth options for waffles and pancakes, but there's also plenty of savory options too! I usually stick to their savory foods just because the sweet is TOO sweet for me. Ive never been disappointed with the food. The real reason I love going to this place is for the s'mores frozen hot chocolate. It's the BEST. Can't get a frozen hot chocolate that good anywhere else!
