Michelle and her staff did an amazing job with designing the flowers for our wedding! Our flowers were stunning, Michelle and her staff worked with us through out the entire event. We had our wedding outside and it was suppose to rain that day, she recommended certain details we didn’t think about and refunded our pergola flowers due to the rain. Most florists would not have refunded our flowers. Michelle went above and beyond for us and her prices are exceptional! Other local places were costly and Michelle worked within our budget. I hope my review can do justice to the outstanding service we received from Michelle and her crew. My dad passed away and we needed flowers. What we got was so much more. Michelle was patient and so very kind while we picked out the arrangements. She made everything as easy as possible, which of course was greatly appreciated. The flowers were stunning...even prettier than the pictures. I have to say that Michelle treated us with more kindness and understanding than anyone else we dealt with as we went through this ordeal. And that is saying something since we met so many good people while my dad was sick. I would not hesitate to recommend "Flowers by Michelle" to anyone and everyone. Michelle and her staff are fantastic.  Every time I head down to the shore I stop in to Michelle's shop for some fresh cut flowers to have at the house.  Some times I call ahead, sometimes I don't, but Michelle is always very accommodating and puts together a beautiful, full, fresh and reasonably priced bouquet for me.  I get enough flowers for one large arraignment in the great room and have enough left over for guest rooms and bathrooms and  it really adds the perfect touch for us and our guests on the weekend.I wouldn't go anywhere else for flowers 'down the shore'.Thanks Michelle! Late review.  We live in Las Vegas.  My 99 year old grandmother lives in Brick, NJ.  I called these guys on Mother's Day because FTD waited till Saturday evening to tell us they couldn't take care of the orders placed 5 days earlier.  Minus 5 stars for FTD.Anyway, I called Flowers by Michelle near (maybe at) their closing time (noon) on Mother's Day.  I got the guy who would be making the last deliveries just as he was getting ready to leave.  He was kind enough not to put me off -- several other local florists literally just laughed at me when I tried to place an order -- and he delivered a great arrangement about an hour later to my grandmother.  It made her day and earned them a customer for life.  Just really great service that you don't often see nowadays.Thank you so much to the gentleman on the phone and to whoever put the arrangement together. The first day my fiancé and I met Michelle we were so impressed with her professionalism and ideas. We didn't exactly know what we wanted, but we knew that we wanted to encorpreate ideas from both of our parents weddings. We wanted it to be simple, yet meaningful.
I knew I didn't want large, distracting flower arangements on the tables. Michelle came up with the idea to have small plants, African violets, (which she wrapped in burlap) on the table. My female guests were able to take the plants home as their favor! No waste at the end of the night!
Still, over one year later, I look back on pictures and remember the feeling I got when Michelle arrived at my venue with the wedding bouquets. That is the moment I felt like a bride.

I used Flowers By Michelle as my florist for my wedding this past June. During our initial consult, Michelle took the time to really listen to what I wanted, made a lot of great suggestions that were consistent with my overall theme, and worked with me to create my wedding vision while staying completely within my budget. I felt very confident that I made the right decision to hire her as our florist. This was confirmed on the day of the wedding. On the day of the wedding, the bouquets arrived and were beautiful-- exactly what I had envisioned! Everything was there that was supposed to be there. When an owner goes above and beyond to understand the nature of your request and creates a floral piece that will grace the table of the recipient with it's beauty and tribute, THAT is the difference between mediocrity and greatness. Not only did Michelle design an exquisite Red Rose, White Lilies, and baby's breath bouquet in a lovely vase, but she listened with understanding, of how special the man who passed meant to me and our country as a Veteran who served our country in WWII.
