Q&As

I love being able to be a part of the life-change journey. Every person has strengths, and I like to work from that perspective to help the client work towards his/her best life.

I’ve been wanting to get into coaching and empowerment services for a long time. I’ve been in the serving profession for almost 10 years, mostly as an advocate and a case manager for domestic violence and sexual assault survivors. My favorite part of it all has always been being a part of the life-change process. There is something special about being a part of someone’s life journey, and playing a role in their betterment, and the betterment of their families. For many of my clients, kindness was something denied to them during the worst parts of their lives, and yet, they have shown tremendous resilience in the face of adversity. Often the service providers are the first source of kindness to a client, and that is where the healing begins. That place is where I dwell. Passionately empowered kindness teaches about growing and thriving, and reminds us that we are interconnected.

I believe in Passionately Empowered Kindness, which means:
- I am passionate about what I do, and am invested in helping others find their passion.
- I am a firm believer in empowerment, especially from a strengths-based perspective, and enjoy transforming the most challenging aspects of life into something better. Nothing is impossible, merely difficult.
- I believe in the power of kindness, not niceness. Kindness means setting boundaries, learning to say no, and being compassionate with ourselves, valuing our skills, our strengths, and our capabilities, while acknowledging we have our own power and autonomy.
